Annie walked into the bar and up to the bartender behind the counter. She watched hurry over to the pool table. She tapped her fingers onto the counter and said something to the bartender. Annie walked over to nick and vickie carrying two shot glasses full of a gold liquid, two limes, and a glass of coke. "drink up!"

Ceril nodded quietly. Her mouth opened wide and fangs extended. She sunk her teeth into his neck and sucked down his warm sweet blood. It was better than she had ever imagine and she began to feel connected to valentine.

 

Keel just shrugged his shoulders. "Beats me, but I don't think just standing here is going to solve anything."

Nick downed the shot of golden liquid, made a slight face and picked up a pool cue. Arranging the scattered balls into their correct places, he obsessively made sure they were numerical order quickly and hoisted Vickie up, halfway onto the table and supporting her on a bent knee. "Alright, girly, take this stick. For one so small I'm going to have to teach you a strange way. Make a fist, loosely now, so your first two knuckles make a V shape. Hand on the table, the stick goes into the V and you just hit the white ball as hard as you can into the others."

Valentine closed his eyes, maintaining a successful silence. He could feel a part of his power leave him. Sure he wouldn't be as strong as Seth anymore but he had something he didn't. A bride.

Nina sniffed and wrinkled her nose, "You smell that? There are werewolves in town...currently."

Annie through the limes away and walked over to the pool table. Vickie was egearly doing as nick said and hit the white ball. "don't aim for the black one with the eight on it. That's the last one you want to get in a hole." vickie nodded and looked at how far away the cue ball now was. "we go over there now?" she turned her head around stared at him questioningly.

Ceril pulled her head away from valentine's neck and wiped the excess blood off of her chin. Her eyes were a bright red as she studied his face. She felt different, but only a little. The was a smile on her face as ceril nuzzled up next to valentine. "i'm sorry if I took too much. It's been a long time since i've had anything other than animal or that synthesized blood your brother makes."

Nick nodded, "Yeah, we follow the white ball. Now if we were playing against...say your sister, we'd have to call whether we have solids or stripes. That is, of course assuming, your sister knows how to play." His eyes roamed down her body, his imagination conjuring the image of her bent over the table.

Valentine wrapped his arms around her and shuffled onto her bed. "It's fine. I've...never felt something like that before." Immediately, he looked at the floor and gave a weak laugh at himself, "Of course I haven't...because no Pureblood alive allows anyone besides their brides to feed from them. Everyone knows that..." Closing his eyes, Valentine settled more comfortably in her bed, tugging her closer, into his side, "I can't stand drinking that fake stuff...it's watery and disgusting."

Annie smirked and grabbed a pool stick off of the rack on the wall. "of course I know how to play. Looks like it's my turn then." she bent over, a little more than necessary, and aimed the pool stick on top of her hand. The cue ball went rolling across the felt table, knocking in two solid colored balls. "looks like you're stripes." she grinned at the pair and a waitress came over, handing her a new glass. The drink was a creamy orange color and smelt just as it looked. Annie smiled, handing the waitress a few dollar bills and then turned back to the table.

Ceril rested her head on valentine's chest. She felt a new desire for closeness that she hadn't felt in decades. "your brother does. Master balmore lets people feed from him all the time. Well maybe not all the time, but i've seen him do it at the parties. Various vampires that have been around for ages are always asking for his blood when they see him."

Nick grinned at Annie, appreciating her willingness to play. Without Vickie there, he was positive he'd have thrown her onto the table and claimed her right there. Moving with Vickie, he aimed her small hands wrapped around the pool cue at a pair of striped balls. "Ready, Vickie? Shoot 'em straight into the pocket."

Valentine mustered an amused chuckle, "Those would be the less popular Purebloods...and the incredibly selfish that have something he wants. Seth...has found a way that he can let them drink from him...and he does the same to them and takes what power they took back. I'm not sure if it's as pleasant as other forms of feeding but if he wishes to share with others...that's fine. Seth...has already had a human consort and he frightened her off with stories about half-breed children. Half human...half vampire...perfectly in sync unlike those that call themselves Dhamphir. Children born from human mothers that have Vampire fathers become more like the dominant gene in them which is their father's Vampirism disease. They are born and take their mother's life. We call them Daylighters....they walk in the daylight but they're as vampire as you or me."

Annie sipped down the sweet orange drink and eyed nick. She could feel him watching her before when she was shooting and wondered how badly he wanted her. It gave her butterflies thinking about it. She watched vickie eargerly try and hit the striped ball. The cue ball connected, but didn't get the ball in. she smacked her small fists on the edge of the table in frustration. "no need to get upset. You're doing great vickie."

Ceril looked up at valentine curiously. "what about the other way around? All we ever hear about is male vampires getting human women pregnant, but what about a female vampire being impregnated by a human. She obviously wouldn't die, because our bodies are stronger, but would they be different?" she stared up at him, waitinf for an answer.

Nick eased her to the floor and took her small hands in his, "You're only learning. Every pool player messes up a few times. If you don't, I wouldn't be able to call them players. Here," he handed her the coke, trading her for the pool cue and waved to the waitress to fetch him a beer. "You drink that Coke before I do and I'll cover for ya."

Shrugging, Valentine spoke casually as if it were no big deal, "It's the easiest way to garrantee yourself a Pureblood child, even if you yourself aren't. The human male sperm only serves as a stimulator to get the process going. Female vampires feed twice as much and the child is born with their mother's exact features. It's like making a carbon copy of yourself and calling it your child. Of course those children aren't granted immortality. The only thing they take from their father is his mortal lifespan. They become nothing more than leeches....and Vampire Hunters take them out without a second glance at their profile."

Vickie nodded and took the glass from nick. Coke was her favorite, even if her sisters never let her hVe it. Serena was very strict about a proper diet. Annie had always been a little more lieniant. She watched her sister pay for the beer and then knock another ball into the hole. "looks like it's three to zero. You're move nicholas." she smirked at him and waited for him to go. "go nick go!" vickie cheered enthusiastically for the man to win.

"how sad. Those damn hunters are such a pain." she sguddered and laid down on the bed, pulling valentine down with her. "i'm glad you're here."

Nick ruffled Vickie's hair and positioned himself carefully aiming for the bottom of the cue ball. Ahead lie a solid and behind it two stripes just begging to be knocked into the pocket. He refused to allow himself to glance up at Annie. Striking the ball, making it bounce over the solid and click into the other two, it followed them into the pocket. Nick grimaced, "Rats..."

Valentine landed on his side, leaning over Ceril. She was right, her bed wasn't big enough to accomodate two. Awkwardly trying to stay on the bed, he steadied himself with one hand placed on a rather warm portion. His eyes widened when he realized he was holding her breast. His mouth worked but no words came out.

Annie chuckled and moved to the side of the pool table to grab the cue ball out of the return hole. "i believe...the word is scratch. Not rats. Although scratch does have rat in it." she positioned the ball and hit it over to a solid. It didn't go in, but brought the ball right next to a side pocket. "you better try a little harder than that nick. Wouldn't want you to lose to a girl." she had a large smirk on her face as she taunted him.

Ceril glanced down at valentine's hand and then back up at his wide eyes. She shrugged and let out a small sigh. They were married now afterall. She agreed to be his forever, so that obviously included all of her. She wiggled her finger for valentine to come closer and there was a smile on her face. Ceril would allow him to take her completely, even if there didn't seem to be enough room. Her lips were silent as she trailed her fingers up and down his shirt.

Nick nearly dropped the chalk he was holding at Annie's taunt. He didn't believe she could get any more attractive at the moment. The waitress brought him his beer and he took a long swig before knocking another striped ball into a far pocket and scattering several others. "I don't think it matters what the word is, I've put myself in a rather...tight position."

Sliding his hand from her chest down to her hip, he leaned closer to her, touching his lips to her cheek, "I apologize. After all, I am a man of more than just desires."

Annie wrapped her ankles around each other and squeezed her legs together as she took another shot at the cue ball. She was trying to resist the urge to pounce on him the way he did to her earlier. She watched another solid ball roll into the corner pocket and finished off her drink. Annie smirked and strolled passed nick, up to the bar.

Ceril smiled and nodded her head. She tangled her fingers up into his hair, holding his head close. "do what you want. I am yours afterall."

While Annie was at the bar, Nick raked his hands through his hair and glanced down at Vickie, "Dating your sister peacefully is going to be difficult to manage." Leaning over the table, he lined up an even shot and sunk the last few striped balls. "Very difficult indeed.." Sitting on the edge of the table, Nick watched Annie.

Shaking his head, Valentine dislodged himself from his position beside Ceril. "No...as my bride I should respect you and that becomes harder if I claim you right after I've made you mine. It's not like...I don't want to..but I don't want to say I made you mine the day we met." Pulling her into a sitting position, he knelt before her, "There's only one thing I want right now..." Trailing a warm line of kisses from her neck to her jawline, Valentine allowed himself to explore what he could of her.

 

Bank Chamber~~

Anthony rolled over to see Yeul, trying to figure out the expression on her face. "I think we'd better get back before someone finds out that I'm slacking on the job."

Vickie looked up at nick from her glass of coke. "what do you mean? Why wont it be peaceful?" she looked at him perplexed. Annie was laughing at something the bartender said and pointed back at nick. The bartender looked disappointed as he handed her the glass. She smiled at them as she took a sip out of her rum and coke. She spilled a little onto her shirt and frowned. Annie set the glass down on a table and excused herself to the bathroom.

Her voive was soft and she batted her eyelashes. "technically, we met yesterday." ceril narrowed her eyes down at valentine a little angrily. "you wouldn't respect me if we had sex?" she had always been blunt and wasn't going to stop now.

 

Bank Chambers

Yeul glowered at him and rolled onto her side. "I don't like you...I could not feel the pulse of life within you. You do not have the capabilities to give me another Pureblooded son."

Nick shook his head at Annie's disappearing form and slid his eyes back to the bartender, "Your sister attracts a lot of attention of other men... Werewolves aren't known for sharing...or appreciating being claimed just like that. Say...Vickie, you wouldn't mind becoming my little helper in my efforts to claim your sister's heart, would you? All I need you to do is get her to admit her own feelings to herself. I think I've seen plenty enough to know how she feels."

Valentine lifted his head, "Not at all. I will always hold a healthy respect for you. But it would be difficult to keep your honor untarnished in the Vampire Society."

 

Anthony forged a smile. "Is the need of purebloods really that necessary. It's regular evolutionary nature to expand beyond what you know."

Vickie nodded and clapped her hands enthusiastically. "yuppers! Anything to keep you around!" she smiled and looked over at a video game in the corner. Vickie pointed at it. "can I go play that game?"

Annie stared at her reflection in the mirror, holding onto the sink. She took a couple of deep breaths, trying to steady her heart rate. Nobody ever made her feel like this before. She pulled her long black hair up into an oversized bun and took another deep breath before exiting the bathroom. Annie picked up her glass off the table and walked over to the pool table. She frowned at the sight of the balls on the table. "did you cheat while I was gone?"

Ceril rolled her eyes and looked away from valentine. "i've never cared what people had to think of me before. Why would I start now? Unless...you care what people think of me? And if that's the case, then maybe you should have thought before you acted." she stared at a picture she had on the wall of her family. Ceril stole it out of her parent's house one day when everyone was out.
