Bloody Nightmare

Anthony's Office

Anthony felt cornered. He didn't want to waste a wish this early; it was more a question out of curiosity, but he knew she would count it as a wish. She truly appeared as cunning as the objects of myth and legend. "All I simply wish to know is why now you wish to look for your sons. You could have gone any time you may have wished, or you could have left them to their own affairs. Why now of all times do you wish to reappear in their lives?"

Annie marched through the front door and headed straight for the bathroom. She turned the shower faucet on, drowning out any noise. Serena came walking outside to greet nick. "what's with her? Did you do something, because annie is actually a very sensative person. One wrong thing and she's off the wall. Honestly I don't know how the two of you will make it." she walked over to the car, pulling a package out of the backseat.

Ceril chuckled and pulled valentine to his feet. "like I sad, nobody was forcing you. But to be perfectly honest I quite enjoy the way you look right now." she ran her fingers along his cold chest then turned away.

 

Anthony's office

Yeul rubbed her temple, "Use wish more in those sentences.... I'm looking for them because I just found out they're still alive. My husband has been lying to me while I wasn't feeling well. He told me they were dead....but lo and behold...when I happened to listen to the zillion messages on the answering machine...I found Valentine whining to me about Seth repeatedly and the dates were current."

Nick snorted and followed Serena around, "I didn't do anything. We were having a conversation and she goes all cold shoulder on me. And what do you mean by "the two of us"?"

treehouse

Valentine gaped at her, forgetting about his shoes and pants. If he had any blood of his own and hadn't been starving himself for the past few months, he'd have blushed at her remark. "You....you...w-what?" Tugging on his ear he mumbled, "There must still be water in my ear from my childhood endevours to eat a dolphin..."

 

Anthony's Office~~

Anthony was a bit taken back. He wasn't quite sure what answer to expect anyway. "And how does that make you feel about your husband?"

Serena wrapped her arm around the package and shut the car door. She frowned and turned back to the door. "if neither of you are smart enough to figure it out, then it's not worth explaining." serena got to the door and lingered a moment. "vickie's in the livingroom waiting for you. She said...she wanted to hear more stories. You might consider taking another shower first though, you reak." she scruntched up her nose and walked back inside.

Ceril laughed again. His nervousness amused her. "i'm certain you heard me correctly." she handed him the clean dresspants smiling. As much fun as it was to tease him, she wasn't a pureblood and what she was feeling was wrong. "here." she held the pants out to him and red bangs fell in her eyes. She felt strange and making eye contact felt wrong for some reason.

 

Anthony's office

Yeul opened her bright blue eyes and rested them on Anthony, "What are you..my therapist? My feelings towards my husband have not changed. Despite a bit of anger...but I'm sure he's angry I left Romania."

cabin

Nick sniffed at himself and frowned, "I smell like vampire...gross... Tell her I'll be right there!" Hopping lightly into the bathroom, he flipped on the shower and drifted into his thoughts for a minute.

Valentine took the pants offered and pulled off his own, struggling into the new ones. "Th-thanks..." He took in her suddenly submissive behavior and pulled her against him. "You don't have to be afraid or anything. It's not like I'm going to start cracking down on the law. I...I think...you're different, Ceril. You're...nice...and pretty." Gnawing on his lip, Valentine set his chin on the top of her head.

 

Anthony's Office~

Anthony chuckled. "I can see why though. I'd hate to lose someone as determined and, might I say, fetching, as you are." He could tell that this wasn't going to be an easy game to play, but he had already invested himself so much into it. He figured that it was best to continue playing and see if there were any other rewards hiding in the wings. "It must be very rough on you."

 

Anthony's office

Yeul laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, "Oh dear me...you certainly don't stop do you? Let me ask you a question for a change of pace. Why do you work for my son?"

 

Anthony's Office~

Anthony sat back in his chair, putting his hand over his chin. "It's simple really. When I first changed into a vampire, he gave me this job. It's obvious he gave it to me for his own selfish needs, but it's better than being out on the streets where the dogs can get you. As long as I play the game, what harm will come, right?"

Annie came walking out of her room drying her hair off with a towel. She had on a clean t-shirt and pair of khaki shorts. She was headed back to the bathroom, but stopped when she heard the shower running. oh. I guess I took too long. annie walked away from the door and headed back to her bedroom. Serena set the package down on kitchen counter and walked into the livingroom. Vickie was sitting on the floor building something out of legos. "nick said he'd join you shortly. He had to wash the smell of vampire off of himself." she returned to the kitchen and untied the twine that wrapped around the thick paper.

Ceril smiled and breathed in valentine's scent. He wasn't bad when he wasn't freaking out. "you look quite handsome in these clothes. Doesn't it feel nice wearing something clean?" it was her lame attempt to change the subject. She wasn't meant to be with anyone and yet she was.

 

Anthony's office

A thoughtful look crossed Yeul's face, "Yes...what harm..."

Cabin

Nick shook water from his head as he stepped out of the shower and searched for a towel. Finding one, he dried, though resisting the urge to shake dry like a dog, and pulled his shorts back on. His shirt smelt too much like the Pureblood and he didn't want another shower at the end of the day when the scent sunk back into his skin. Loping out of the bathroom he plonked himself next to Vickie, examining her lego building. "Pretty slick, kiddo."

Valentine chuckled warmly, "I suppose I should take that well, though I still liked my old clothes. They might not have been in fashion but they were practical." His muscles relaxed eventually as he held her longer, "It might be nice...but I still feel gross." Though Purebloods never emitted a scent that wasn't pleasant, Valentine felt the grit of dirt, sweat and blood on his skin.

 

Anthony's Office

"Your son is not a bad employer either. I guess I've had no means of leaving because there's really no point in doing so." Anthony crossed his arms.

Vickie looked proudly over her legos. She had been working on a whole city for weeks and just finished building the lego hospital. Her smile was beaming as she looked up at nick. "thanks! I like building things." she tutned to the kitchen and shouted to her sister. "serena I need more legos! I'm almost out!" serena's voice echoed from the kitchen. "if you take apart all the things you have now, you won't need more legos!" vickie sat on the floor pouting and glaring down at the stray pieces.

Ceril slowly pulled away from him. "you can go wash up if you want. There's a creek about a mile west of here. It takes no time at all if you use you super speed. It's where I go to clean up." she sat back down on the bed, staring up at him.

 

Anthony's office

Yeul glowed with pride in her son and remained silent.

Cabin

Nick chuckled and winked at her, "I'm sure a few of the kids coming with my pack members will bring something along. You might even like Sammy..she likes to draw and I think she's pretty darn good." Nick smiled fondly at the memory of Sammy drawing him and bouncing around him like a pup.

Valentine nodded, "I'll do that...r-right after..." he leaned over Ceril and set a hand on her neck.

vickie looked up at nick both confused and excited. "there's more of you coming? i've never had friends."

Annie walked into the kitchen seeing her sister with the meat and her eyes lit up. "are those ribs? AND steak?" she noticed her sister roll her eyes as she set the meat on a pan. "yes. i went to the butcher shop while you were gone. i figured the more we all eat tonight the less dead animals there will be in the forest tomorrow. and i swear if i find this pan empty later someone is losing their head. i know it was you last time. who else would have eaten the meat raw." "but you marinade it so well. i couldn't help myself!" she shut up at the look on serena's face. "so what happened while you were gone? i mean i see you both made it back in one piece, but i'm sure something happened. right?" annie sighed and filled her sister in on what nick told her. a mischievous smile spread across her making annie uncomfortable. "what?" "so he's not leaving then. he's staying here? how perfect." annie punched serena in the arm and turned to walk out of the kitchen. "shut up. it's not like that at all. he doesn't like me and i'm not going to waste my time trying. we have more important things to worry about."
annie walked out of the kitchen before serena could say anything else. she noticed nick and vickie in the living room, but paid them no attention as she walked out the door.

ceril understood immediately what he wanted. she didn't know how there could be any blood left to give, but she closed her eyes and tilted her neck to the side for him anyway. she was still dizzy from before and thought that she might actually pass out from a third feeding in one morning. the idea of sleep thrilled her a little bit, so she was willing to let him drink again. it had been so long since she had slept and it seemed rather inviting.

 

Anthony's Office~~

Anthony let off a soft smile. "Why did you decide to come to me?"

 

Anthony's office

Yeul stood and sauntered over to the side of the desk, tilting his chin up with a slender finger, "Since you're so adorable, I'll give you that one for free. I came to you because...you have Seth's scent all over you. Tell me...have you ever been bitten by my son?"

Nick let Vickie's joy sweep over him, washing away his fears about his pack members, "Yeah. I'm positive they'll like you. And if we're lucky, maybe...just maybe...we'll all get a happy ending." He glanced towards the door, watching Annie leave yet again and frowned, "Does your sister leave often?"

treehouse

Valentine smiled and shifted her head back to it's place and touched his nose to hers once. "That wasn't what I wanted...but it works too..." Refusing to let her tilt to adjust to him, he moved to the side, cradling her against him as he sunk his teeth into her neck.

 

Anthony's Office~~

Anthony smirked. "In truth, I do not remember much of the night that I was changed. Like many of the vampires here, we all have the church as our origin. A simple party was all that I was invited to, and the next thing I know, I wake up with the thirst for blood."

 

Anthony's office

Yeul leaned back, "See....Seth is your Sire...he owns you in body and soul. Eternally dammed or not...you belong to him, just as he belongs to me. You will take me to him because you will always be weaker than my bloodline...and you will do what your Pureblood Master has to say." Beautiful blue eyes darkened until they hit a deep scarlet, passing violet all together. "Someone in your beloved bank has cut themselves...I should make sure they're alright."

 

Anthony's Office~~

Anthony let out a quiet laugh. He had gotten used to the scent of blood in here. With all the paperwork that went around this place, people were bound to accidentally cut their fingers every once in a while. Such a small bounty didn't seem worth it. "Allow me to go with you; it'd look a lot less suspicious if you're with the bank owner after all."
