Bloody Nightmare

Lucy grimaced, "I didn't... Some crazy nutjob bit me...and some woman told me to run so I ran. I thought..being far away from the orphanage would help...looks like it didn't. Instead I meet your boyfriend and he tells me I'm going to become a vampire? I might as well jump off a cliff for this dream is too real for me."

 

Rin seemed to loosen up. She at least felt a lot less hostel towards the girl. Rin volunteered to be a part of this lifestyle, but this girl doesn't seem to have a choice. "He's really kind. He'll make sure that everything's taken care of for you." Of course, she kept out the part where everyone works under him. It's a lot less like protection and more like employment.

Annie narrowed her eyes at nick as she stood up. "you're on a first name basis with the pureblood?" she tossed her phone to him, disgusted. The smell of the church had overwhelmed her and she stepped outside in a hurry. The fact that he was so cool with the vampires really irritated her.

Ceril stopped humming and opened her eyes. Valentine's reaction had surprised her. She hadn't been this close to anyone in years and she must have let it slip her mind that purebloods only get involved with other purebloods. "i...i didn't realize it bothered you." she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

 

Church

Nick followed her out, racing after her, "Hey whoa...hold up! There's a lot you don't know about our meeting. He told me to call him Seth. Apparently the Balmore name is only used in town as reference to a really old man...they don't know he's a vampire."

Valentine shivered and tensed, "No...no...I just... I figured you'd be angry...I mean...I touched you and I'm... I'm just..." He started hyperventillating, "It doesn't bother me...no...I just...don't want to be hit. Please...can't you just bite me instead?"

"of course they don't know he's a vampire. That would be insane. Why don't you enlighten me on your meeting then? Help me understand how you can be so cool with the vampires." she stood there angrily staring down nick. The whole idea of cooperating with vampires infuriated her.

Ceril reached for valentine hesitantly. She didn't want to make him freak out. "why would I do that to you? Hit you or bite you? It's not like you did anything wrong."

 

Road to Church

Nick sighed heavily and scratched the back of his head, "I came to Luin to see Seth Balmore, son of Yeul Balmore and the Progenitor of the Balmore blood. My job was to check if he was getting along alright in the human world unlike before the Purge several hundred years ago. And if he was alright...my Alpha asked me to make a request of him.... To move half our pack from Romania to Luin. Mr. Balmore, as you like him to be called, gave me permission and funds to send for the pack members that would like to move along with our Beta who will be the new Alpha of the new pack."

Valentine cringed away from her, crumpling into a ball in the corner, "That's...that's what everyone else does. Why wouldn't you? I...I touched you...to a lot of others that would be permission enough to bite me and take blood from a Pureblood."

Annie got a little excited at the thought that nick might not be leaving, but new it had to be deeper than what he said. "what's the catch? There's no way he would do all of that without something in return. This is vampire territory afterall." she kept her arms crossed and stared at him accusitorily.

Ceril crawled over to valentine in the corner. He was freaking out over nothing. He didn't even really do anything.. A slight grazing underneath her breast was nothing. "I wouldn't do that. You may have been born a vampire, but you're still a man. It's not like you attacked me." getting past the thought that he might be interested in her took a minute, but once she settled on that conclusion it kind of excited her.

 

Road to Church

Nick sniffed at Annie and the corners of his mouth twitched up, "The only catch is that we don't out them or ourselves and invest in his companies and work for them. At least he won't be their boss and he promised no Vampires would be their bosses."

Valentine peeked at her from under his arms, "And...so as long as I don't attack you...you're okay with it? N-not saying I'll do it again..." A relieved look spread across his face and his fingers twitched. "S-so...I probably should stop freaking out now..."

Annie kept her arms crossed, but loosened up a bit. "so...are you staying? Not that I care or anything, but if I have to deal with more of our kind it'd be nice to have a familiar face." she turned her back to him. "plus you did say I should be wary around the other men of our kind...when i'm...what was it? In heat?" she was teasing him. There was a smile on her face now, not that he could see it.

Ceril smiled pleasantly at the pureblood. "excatly. There's no reason to be panicking. Plus you're a pureblood. Doesn't that mean you can do whatever you want anyway? Or anyone?" she leaned back away from him.

 

Road to Church

Nick involuntarily let a growl slip between his lips, "Well yes...I did say that... And I am staying...but...but that doesn't mean I'm staying for any particular reason. I just don't think I should leave my pack's Beta in charge of everything. After all it's new territory and he wouldn't be familiar with it...and somebody has to be here before hand to set up housing..." Making excuses, Nick rambled on, thinking selfishly about what would happen if his Beta decided to take Annie as his own mate when he arrived. Jerk probably would too.

Valentine shrugged, "Well yes...but Father wouldn't be very happy if I started just...'doing' anyone I wanted. He's always saying we have to keep the bloodline pure...but I don't see the point in it. No Pureblood alive today would want to be my wife, girlfriend or anything even related to me."

Annie turned to face him. There was a small smile on her face. She tapped her phone in nick's hand. "is that all? That's too bad..." she pointed down at the phone. "i believe you have some calls to mak?" annie walked off in the direction of home.

Ceril got up off of the floor and held a hand out to valentine. The floor was dirty and an inoppropriate place to sit. "you never know until you try."

Nick watched her walk away, still blinking from the smile on her face. If he didn't know better he'd say she was happy he was frustrated. Dialing rapidly, Nick punched in the extra numbers to make it to his pack and relayed the information to their Beta and Alpha. "Yessir...I've got it. Hey now...don't be barking up that tree again... No, sir take your time. Will be handled...sir...see you then...bye." Hanging up, Nick proceeded back to Annie and Serena's home with a scowl on his face. His Beta was more than eager to come and become the Alpha which upset him and only a third of the pack wanted to come to a Vampire controlled town.

Valentine took her hand and hauled himself from the floor. "Why should I try... All pureblood females are the same... 'Buy me something pretty and I'll go out with you for an hour' or simple enough 'I like my human consort better than you'. It's maddening."

Annie heard nick following her again and stopped to wait for him. Her hands were in the pockets of her jean shorts as she turned on her heels to face him. "all done? Lots of male werewolves coming to steal the purity of my sister and myself?" she meant it as a joke, but got the feeling that nick wouldn't find it amusong. He was older and his sense of humor seemed to be more concervative.

Ceril laughed as she sat back down on the bed. "what can I say? Women like pretty things. I wouldn't have so much clothing if that weren't true. My clothes and my books are my only real possesions. Have to stay up to date on all the current trends." she motioned to her outift which she had saw a few weeks ago in a magazine.

Nick growled, "If they're big enough jerks...I wouldn't put it past them. Minding their manners isn't something that they do really." he grabbed one of her arms, yanking her hand out of her pocket and slipping her phone back into it before releasing her. "But it's not really my decision of who you take to your bed." The thought made him want to bite a tree in half...which was a strange thought in itself.

Valentine blinked, obviously not following current trends. His dress pants, button up navy blue shirt and horrifically forest green trench coat complete with army boots, made him look less like a Pureblood and more like some hobo that got into the Lost and Found.

Annie pulled her arm back to her side and frowned at him. "it was a joke. you keep saying it's not your decision, and yet every time it looks like it bothers you. Why is that." she turned away from him, her arm still throbbing. He grabbed it rather roughly and she had no choice but to rub the pain out.

Ceril took a long look at valentine's attire. She hadn't really stopped to absorb it til that moment and feom. It was awful. She remembered having some mens clothes in the back of the closet from when she used to feed on humans. She would lure them with sex and then bite them either during or after. Ceril walked over to the closet and rifled through the endless abouts of hangers. "if you want to be taken seriously, you have to dress appropriately."

 

Anthony's Office~~

The morning had been going slow for Anthony. That was par for the course for his job; he didn't seem too many people during the day, only those who were in dire emergencies. He was thinking back to Yuel and the wishes that she promised him. There was an obvious one that was on his mind, but he wanted to save that for after hours. Hungry for entertainment, he called up her office. "Would you mind joining me in my office, my dear," Anthony said softly into the phone. There were still some things that were bugging him.

 

Anthony's office

Yeul sighed, setting aside her reading of really old comic strips and pile of completed file work for the next few years. Standing, she smoothed her dress and glided into Anthony's office. Leaning against the doorframe, she examined her nails lazily.

Nick looked away from her, "It doesn't bother me...I just wish my pack mates would act a little more mature." He'd be damned if he would admit to her that the thought of them touching her made him want to tear their hands off. Even if it would be quite amusing to watch them struggle with bloody stumps for hands. Telling her probably meant he'd die...either from sure fire regection...or inevitable womanly wrath of 'don't touch me'.

Valentine glanced down at his attire and frowned at her, "I rather like my clothes..." he pouted.

 

Anthony's Office~~

Anthony's smile was very thin as he looked at her. He admired the structure of her, knowing exactly where one of his wishes was going. Still, that would wait. "Take a seat, we have plenty of time to ourselves," Anthony told her, pointing at the seat in front of his desk. "There's a question that has been on my mind for a while now."

Annie rolled her eyes and felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She pulled it out, seeing the picture of serena on the display. "hey, no it's cool. We're on our way back. Not too far away. Should be be home in a couple minutes. Mkay. Bye." she put her phone back in her pocket and glanced over to nick. "serena says hello." annie didn't look at him the rest of the walk back. His attitude really botjered her for some reason.

Ceril tossed valentine some clothes, but didn't force him to put them on. "do what you want. Nobody's forcing you. I'm just trying to help." she sat quietly back down on the bed.

 

Anthony's office

Yeul sat in the chair, crossing her legs and folding her hands together on her lap. "Questions like what? Three wishes...is one of those wishes to answer your questions?"

Nick made a noncommital sound and continued his mental self beating for thinking Annie even resembled anything of his. She'd probably bite his throat if she knew he considered her his.

Valentine slid out of his coat and popped off a few buttons before it was open enough for him to just groan and slid it over his head instead of struggle with the tiny holes and larger buttons. "Sure no one's forcing me...but i think we all knew where this was going..." Starting on his pants, Valentine tried vainly to step out of his boots only to fall to the floor cursing like a sailor.
