Bloody Nightmare

Balmore Dining Room~~

Mimi smiled when she finished drinking up the blood. She was feeling a sensation of being full, not wanting to take another sip. She left the room, wanting to explore the rest of the castle.

Rin sunk in deep in her seat, relaxing. She was really getting used to Seth drinking her blood. It seemed to become more of a happy ritual than a painful one.

 

North Woods - Cabin

Nick smiled and set a large, warm hand on Annie's shoulder. "Take it easy. Keep on getting riled up like that and you'll start getting gray fur before you know it." He headed inside the house, following the scent of chicken and leaned over Serena's shoulder, sniffing at the food. "Smells good...but anything would smell good to me right about now. I'll borrow a knife and return it after I've sanitized it." He prayed to the moon that there weren't embarrassing girl things in their bathroom. Though his outer appearance gave off stoic vibes, he felt like a greenboy in the all female household. He could already smell Vickie somewhere in the house but locked himself in the bathroom.

Balmore Manor - Dining hall

Seth continued feeding, allowing himself for once to indulge a bit. Though he wouldn't know when to stop. Only Rin could tell him that. He hoped she wouldn't let him drain her.

Balmore Manor - Basement

Yuka slumped into a chair, it creaked as she did, and set upon another pile. "Master Seth and Miss Lirum were to be married before...then she broke off the engagement and said she was leaving for New York. Truth be told...after she left, I'd never seen Seth so depressed. He acted like a zombie...more so than he already does. He tried to call Miss Lirum several times and we all heard that conversation... A lot of yelling, screaming and she said she hated him and wanted him to drop dead into a pile of ashes. I've no idea what caused her anger...humans...they're unpredictable."

 

Balmore Manor Dining Room~~

Rin tried to smile innocently at Seth. Putting her hands to the side, she fell back into the seat. "Maybe we should go to your room," Rin suggested. She grabbed one of his free hands and kissed it gently.

 

Balmore Manor - Dining hall

Seth released her and shook his head gently. "There's no need...you need only tell me when to stop and I'll stop. If I hurt you, Rin...what would I do with myself?" He licked her wound and hugged her to him.

 

Balmore Manor Dining Room~~

Rin nervously panted and was beginning to sweat. "I'm fine Seth, you don't need to worry," She urged him. Rin wrapped her arms around him and kissed him deeply.

 

Balmore Manor - Dining hall

Seth picked her up and carried her to his room. "You will wake up on time in the morning...which means you need a good nights sleep. You shall go to school tomorrow."

Serena smiled happily as she handed nick the knife. "thank you. I wouldn't know how it tastes, vegetarian." she went back to cooking and turned on the radio as she worked.
Annie slumped down onto the ground. There was something about this nick guy that was getting to her and she didn't understand what it was. She had never liked anyone before, so she had no clue if that was what it was. Annie ran her fingers through her hair and stared at the ends. "i will never let my hair turn gray, especially because of a group of vamps." she looked down at her bare legs and kicked at the ground some more. "ugh! she stood, dusted herself off, and started running again. Annie wanted to gey away, uninterupted.

Ceril sighed, remembering when she was in high school. "sadly, love does that to you. It can both give you something incredible or take away your very existence. More people kill for love than anything else. I do miss it. I had love once, my sophomore year of high school. It was wonderful and once it ended I never thought I would make it. My family was afraid for me. I never left my room and I slept all the time. Sleep seemed like the only thing I could control that wouldn't kill me. it was an awful time." she sat down next to yuka and sighed in the seat. Re me mber that year made her chest hurt. It was a time she didn't take well and hoped that sort of thing never becomes repeated.

 

Balmore Manor Dining Room~~

Rin giggled as she was being picked up. She didn't like the idea of going to school, but she knew that she was going to win the battle, and it wasn't worth the discussion. She simply did as he wished, resting peacefully in his arms.

 

North Woods - Cabin

Nick stood in the shower, picking out bullets from his body one by one. They plinked on the floor and fresh blood oozed down his legs. Running the blade under the hot water and splashing water onto his wounds, Nick wrapped the blanket around his waist and cautiously stepped out of the bathroom.

Balmore Manor - Seth's room

Seth curled up around Rin. He kissed her cheek and the wound he'd made on her neck. "Sleep...go to sleep, Rin."

Balmore Manor - Basement

Yuka remained silent. She didn't know what to say to Ceril. The only other vampires Yuka knew were the Purebloods and they usually started the problems in their own lives.

Serena heard the bathroom door open as she scooped the chicken onto a plate, carrying it out into the dining room. "all done in there? We might have some of our father's old clothes. I just gotta find the right box. I hope they aren't too lame for you. Our dad was into a kot of weird stuff." she placed a bowl of mashed potatoes on the table next to the chicken and ran off to the closet to find the extra boxes. Vickie could smeel the chicken from her bedroom. Serena never ate it, but she always did a good job. She crept out to the dining room and noticed a man in the hallway wearing a blanket. "who are you?" annie ran down the trail and decided she should go back. Serena would be done with dinner soon, and she had yet to eat anything.

Ceril picked at her fingernails as she and yuka sat there in the quiet. The basement was rather desolate, and she found it strange how long she had been in the home. She never spent this much time with other vampires, or in a home. Ceril couldn't even remember the last time she spebt this much time in someone's house. "i'll go. At nightfall...i wouldn't want to intrude more than I already have." she felt like a burden staying for so long. Just another mouth to feed.

 

North Woods - Cabin

Nick hesitated, looking down at Vickie. "I'm Nick. A guest at the moment. Your sisters were nice enough to let me stay with them. I hope...you don't have a problem with me staying here?" He knelt to her level and leveled his bright blue eyes with hers. "S'matter? Wolf got your tongue?"

Balmore Manor - Basement

Yuka giggled slightly and stood, brushing off her skirt. "That's quite alright. I've appreciated having someone else here that likes cleaning."

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Some of Rin's air tickled against her back, causing her to lightly laugh. She was really hoping that this wasn't some kind of mean trick her mind was playing on her while she was sleeping. Lightly, she kissed him back, snuggling into him as if he were a pillow. "But I'd miss you too much if I slept," Rin joked before letting out a rather long yawn.

Vickie looked at the strange man. She wasn't used to the whole werewolf thing yet, and hearing him mention wolf made her cringe. "no...but i'm not supposed to talk to strangers...especially not after earlier." she pulled out a chair and sat down at the table. Serena came rushing out with an armful of clothes. "oh hey vickie. Dig in. i'm sure annie will be awhile. I hope these fit. Our dad was kind of a big guy." she handed nick a blue flannel shirt and a pair of cargo shorts.
Annie was running home when she tripped over a tree root sticking out of the ground. She landed on her knees, skinning them and sprained her ankle. "son of a --" she bit her lip to conceal the pain. Annie grabbed a tree branch to pull herself up and tried to limp the last mile home, but the pain was too much. "dammit! Ow! Ugh!" she went to grab her phone until she realized that it wad still in the car.

Ceril laughed. "i wouldn't say I like cleaning yuka, you just kind of roped me into it. Not exactly my idea of fun that's for sure." she stood up and picked at the hole in her dress. It was garbage now.

 

Balmore Manor- Seth's room

Seth covered her mouth with his hand and closed her eyes for her. "I'll be right here. Go to sleep..."

Balmore Manor - Basement

Yuka chuckled, covering her mouth daintily. "True...but it was fun. I suppose I'll see you during the next party Seth invites you to. Not many include those that live closer."

North Woods - Cabin

Nick watched Vickie carefully and frowned. Straightening up, he took the armful of clothes from Serena and grinned, "Nice...it'll have to do for now. I'll be back in a minute." Shuffling out of the room with the clothes, Nick pulled them on and made a face at his appearance.

 

Balmore Manor Seth's Room~~

Rin let out a tiny gasp when Seth closed her mouth. When he forced her eyes closed, she didn't realize how tired she actually way. She gave into Seth's wishes, entering the darkness of her sleep. "Promise..." Rin tried to ask in a wavy voice before falling asleep.

 

~Hotel Still

"In other words,were stuck here for now." Keel said.

Ceril smiled at yuka. "i'm sure I will be there. Unless i've already left. Time moves differently when you don't sleep and have all eternity...i don't know. Maybe I'll come visit you yuka before then. I kind of miss having other people to talk to. It's been nice."

~north woods: cabin
Serena sat down at the table and made a plate of salad and mashed potatoes. "i wonder where annie went. It's going to be dark soon." she glanced up at the clock and then noticed vickie dumping the bottle of barbeque sauce out onto her plate. "oh vickie sweetie you don't need nearly that much sauce. Just take a little at a time. And let's try and be nice to nicholas while he's here. It looks like he has had a bit of a rough time. He's just like us."

~north woods: trail
Annie sat on the dirt in pain. She couldn't stand due to the pain and had no way of calling her sister. Getting home was going to be very difficult.

 

Balmore Manor- Seth's room

Seth murmured to Rin as she slept, keeping a careful eye on her. The girl certainly was dangerous, but Valentine's words about Lirum bothered him. Lirum wouldn't come back to Luin...she'd sworn it on her own life. She hated him as much as he loved her.

Basement

Yuka nodded, "Mm. It has. Oh yes...I was meaning to tell you. The new bookstore in town is run by a vampire employed by Seth's company so it's open twenty-four/seven now.

North Woods - Cabin

Nick poked his head out the window of the bathroom. Since he wouldn't fit through, he quietly walked to the door. Sniffing along the way. Annie wasn't back yet and he was sure the girl wouldn't stay away from food for long. Not with the full moon approaching she wouldn't keep out in the dark. Lightly stepping out the door, Nick sniffed again and the hairs in his nose burned at the sickeningly sweet smell of Vampire. Worse...Pureblood vampire. The yellow ring reappeared around his blue iris' and he bolted into the night, leaving the door hanging open.

North Woods - Trail

Valentine watched Annie carefully. The wolf was hurt and yet no blood spilled. It was rather disappointing. Wolf hung in the air and old hate boiled in his blood.

Annie tried to stand, but the pain was excrutiating. The full moon was going to be awful with an injured foot. The breeze picked up and she caught a whiff of something sweet and disgusting. It was also familiar. "show yourself vamp! Sfftt...uhn..if you come near my family again i'll rip you to shreds! Ow! Gah...daammnn..." she wasn't very intimidating when writhing in pain. Annie pulled herself up against a tree and liftwd her right foot in the air to keep it from having pressure on it. It was killing her, but the fact that the pureblood was nearby was more important.

Ceril's eyes lit up at the thought of a twenty-four hour bookstore. "really? I was just thinking about how I need some new books. I was going to wait for a rainy day and then load up with layers, but this is even better." she felt all giddy inside. Books were the only thing that provided her company at home.

Yuka smiled. "Seth is always looking out for us."

North Woods - Trail

Nicholas pulled off the clothes Serena had given him and hung them in a tree. Letting his bones shift inside him and fur sprout from his pores. He dropped to all fours, letting his change take place and finally stretched when it was over and bound through the woods, following Annie's scent. A wolf with dark grey fur and a large build streaked through the trails and finally came padding up to Annie. Bright blue eyes with a yellow ring surrounding the iris probed the darkness. He barked once at her and prodded her with his nose.
