Johanna noticed that Mimi was running around the house. She smiled, noticing that she seemed to be an energetic little girl, just like she had imagined her to be. Johanna thought for a second, wondering if Mimi knew all the rules about being a vampire, or even if she understood what happened to her at all. She followed Mimi to where she stood, looking over the second floor balcony. Her face became hard, noticing Valentine in Seth's house. She wrapped her arms around Mimi, protecting her.

"Who is that," Mimi asked in a soft voice.

"A bad man," Johanna said in a monotone.

As soon as valentine entered the home, annie took off running. She wanted to get home as quickly as possible. They were all in a lot of trouble and tomorrow night it would be a full moon. Vickie would be ungaurded and vulnerable. They had no way of protecting her. Not in this town.

Ceril stood quickly and stepped in front of yuka, remembering how frightened she was when the phone rang. Valentine wasn't at all what she expect. He didn't look like a monster, but his actions were already showing otherwise.

Seth and Valentine glowered at each other for a long moment before Valentine pulled out his cell. "If that was twenty years ago..then who is she?" he showed Seth a picture of a woman with black hair and bright blue eyes. Her lovely face was marred by knife slashes. Seth gaped, "She promised she'd leave... Lirum... Valentine what have you done?! Let her go! She's not...not my human anymore. She left me." Valentine chuckled, "Goodness..if she's not your human...mind if I make her mine? She's quite fiesty and I like violent girls."

Yuka peered over Ceril's shoulder at the picture and covered her mouth, suppressing the gasp that came from within her.

Johanna grabbed Mimi, carrying her away from where they were. "I think it would be best if we went back to your room for a while," Johanna told her, making sure that their presence wasn't know. She had a feeling that this confrontation between the two of them wasn't going to end well at all. Mimi was the most vulnerable of them all.

After a small cry, Rin removed the blanket from her body. She slowly walked out of the bedroom and explored the hallway. She needed someone to talk to...anybody would do for her at this point. She looked over at what was going on downstairs, noticing that Seth was in a lot of pain. She was ready to help him until she saw another man. This man made her feel uneasy. Staying hidden, she observed the ordeal.

Seth tore away from Mirabelle and tackled his brother to the ground. The cell sliding across the floor over to Yuka and Ceril's feet. "I'll kill you!" Seth growled, sinking his teeth into Valentine's shoulder. "Oh you would just go and bite me! Filthy boy! However you became Father's favorite, it sickens me to see you torn up over a HUMAN!" Seth placed his palm on Valentine's head and crushed it into the floor. "We'll see who's the sickening one! Let's see what's inside that sick brain of yours!" Clammoring together the brothers rolled and slammed into the wall, causing the remaining vase to crash to the floor, shattering into pieces. They froze, staring at the pieces, lost in their memories as dust settled on and around them from inside the vase.

Rin covered her mouth to keep her gasp from being audible. She hadn't seen this side of Seth; she had hoped that she would never see how dangerous a vampire could really be. She felt torn. Rin knew that it wouldn't be safe for her to go down there and try to calm him down. However, she wanted to find some way to help him. With every passing second, her breathing became even more shallow. Trying to move, Rin tripped, accidentally knocking over a vase, which shattered on the floor.

Seth knelt in the dust and grabbed handfulls of it. "Look...at what you've done!" Valentine jerked his head up to the balcony, "A guest?" Grabbing Valentine's coat, Seth shook him and banged his head against the wall behind him. "LOOK! That was our MOTHER! And you broke her heart...just like now you broke her vase!" Valentine stared at the vase on the floor and the dust. "Yeul...you mean...mother was...you gathered her ashes...and put them in a vase? How sick are you?" Seth let go of his brother and stumbled backwards, "I'm sick? No...Yeul...no...Mother was a wonderful woman...even if she wanted to die...watching her sons grow up like this... You caused her death just like you caused Lirum to leave and now....you instill fear in my friends and family! Get out...Get out!" Valentine backed away from his hysterical brother. It'd been centuries since he'd seen him like this and now it was even more frightening. "Lirum...the girl...I tied her up in the cellar of the Orphanage... Just...I didn't bite her, brother! If that helps at all...? I wanted...you to pay attention to me...but all you think about are your precious humans!"

Rin was completely paralyzed. She listened in on the fight that was going on downstairs. His mother, Rin though. Her eyes were screaming in horror at what she had done. It was an accident, Rin never meant to do it, but that didn't change the fact that it ended up happening. Rin couldn't find any kind of solution where it was going to end well for her.

Ceril stumbled backward, trying to avoid the ash. There was nothing sick about keeping ashes. People did it all the time. She wanted to say something, but felt it wasn't her place. This wasn't her house and neither of them were her sires. She had no room to speak in this matter..

Annie reached the property quickly and noticed the prius in the driveway. When she saw the handprint valentine had left on the roof of the car, she let out a loud growl. The vampires would pay. They attacked her family one too many times and now it meant war. She got to the door and pulled out her key unlocking it. "serena! What were you doing in town and why didn't you tell me you were leaving?!" serena walked out of the kitchen hesitantly. "you were asleep. I wasn't going to wake you. I uh...i was taking vickie to get enrolled in school, but I see that it was a mistake." annie gritted her teeth angrily. there was omly one more night before, the full moon, it was time for vickie to know. "vickie get out here! You can't go to school and it's time you know why!" the small silver-haired child walked into the entryway cautiously. "yes annie?"

Valentine stood and quietly walked out the door, lingering in the church as Seth scooped up what he could of the ashes and Cooke brought him a new vase. Dumping the white ashes into the vase, Seth's crimson eyes glittered. "Rin...come down here please. I know you're up there."

Wolf paws beat on the dirt road and rocketed into town, heading straight for the shade of the forest on the side of town. Gray fur flipped in different ways as the wind brushing by turned each strand in a different direction. Children squealed in excitement and adults clutched them to their sides, eager to get away from the stray wolf wandering through town. Panted breaths and half growls came from the wolf's mouth along with his lolling pink tongue.

The three sisters sat down at the table. Annie and serena sat facing vickie and both looked really uncomfortable. Annie sppke up first. "that man today was dangerous. I hope you realize that and it's for more than what you think. He...he is a vampire and they are our enemies. They make halfbreeds that turn on their backgrounds and kill the normal vamps. Those halfbreeds killed mom and dad." annie was never prepared for this talk. Serena could see how much pain her sister was in and decided to take over. "they killed our parents because we're different too. You know all those stories about werewolves and vampires, well most of them are actually true. We know this, because we're werewolves. And so are you. We both changed for the first time around your age. There is a full moon tomorrow night and we think that's when you'll finally go through it too." vickie sat there silently. She couldn't believe what her sisters were saying. It all sounded so ridiculous. "you're joking right?""i wish we were."

Rin seemed to snap back int consciousness when she heard Seth call her name. Under any other circumstances, she would run down the stairs to embrace him. This time, however, she slowly descended down the steps, keeping her face hidden within her hair. She started to cry, terrified by what sort of thing he was going to tell her. "I'm really sorry, Seth," Rin cried out as she was approaching him. "I-I didn't know that anything was in there and...I just wanted to see if you were okay. I didn't know...that guy...he was so..." Rin found it impossible for her to complete any of her thoughts. She felt like she was choking on something in the middle of her throat.

Seth reached out for Rin and pulled her in to a hug. "It's alright, Rin. It's about time I thought about Yeul anyway. I've been running things a bit too roughly lately. Yeul would've been disappointed about everything...the party a few nights ago...taking you in...I've become a terrible person."

Wheezing, the wolf fell over into the dust and pawed at the ground in front of him. So close...and yet so far away... Why did they have to move so far away...

Rin started crying even harder now. She didn't like what Seth was saying to her. She tried hitting his chest, although she knew she wasn't strong enough to even hurt him. "Idiot. What you did was good. Taking me in...you made me happy. Doesn't that count for anything?"

Seth shook off his memories. "Rin...I've put you at risk. Valentine isn't someone who can be trusted with anything. I worry about you. A human in a vampire household...with new werewolves living in town."

Luin Main Road~

The wolf whimpered painfully, his tongue lolling on the ground, licking up dirt as passerbyers cringed in horror and hurried along. He shouldn't have entered the town like this...but it was too late to correct his error. Nothing...no one will help me... Mrs Balmore....forgive me... Forgive me...Yeul... He passed out and phased back to his human form. Luckily the humans had fled inside and shuttered their windows from the sight. But a naked man in the middle of the road was suspicious enough.

Ceril felt uncomfortable watching this private moment. She turned and walked away from the others, heading down the hallway. Ceril collapsed onto the floor. She let out a deep sigh. All ceril could think about is what her sire might be like. Whether he would be caring like aeth, or crazy like valentine. She hated the feeling of being lost. Not having any answers.

Vickie had gone hiding in her room and annie decided to go for another run. It helped her relax and think. She had put her earbuds in and let the wind whip her face. She managed to pull her black hair into a pony tail. She had also decided to dress for the run for the first time since they arrived in luin. nnie had her black and purple sports bra on and her black spandex. Her white shoes were turning tan from the dirt. She probably would have ran for hours if she hadn't seen the man naked in the street. She recognized the pose. She woke in that pose every time she went through the change. Her suspisions were confermed when she noticed the familiar smell. Annie pulled out her phone and quickly dialed serena's number. "serena, I need you to come meet me. Bring a blanket."

The man opened his eyes a bit, seeing dirty shoes in front of him. A familiar scent, similar to his own. "W...water..."

Rin couldn't even look at Seth in the eye. She held tighter onto him. Rin couldn't believe what she was hearing; she was hoping that she was simply having some kind of nightmare and was going to wake up any second. "I'll be okay. I'm happy here. Doesn't that matter?"

"Of course it matters, Rin, but I refuse to keep you in harms way." Seth stood, pulling Rin with him and smoothed her hair, "Two years, Rin. Your eighteenth birthday shall be your last as a human."

In a second, her nightmare had just transformed into a dream. Rin hugged Seth, smiling at what he told her. "Do you promise," She asked him, her face buried in her shirt.
