Bloody Nightmare

Rin wrapped her arms around Seth. She was surprised by how bold she was being right now. "I am a grown woman; and, you're a man, aren't you," Rin asked, teasing him. "Why don't you go ahead and take them off for me?" She kissed him on the lips, admiring how he looked before she closed her eyes.

Gripping Rin's wrists, Seth pulled them away from him and pinned them against the headboard. "You're either a very stupid girl or too confident in how much you know me when you know so little." Seth pressed and moved slowly as he practically glared down at her. "Tipping the scales in your favor are we? I've had an eternity to become the way I am."

 

Rin's instincts kicked in for a little bit, fighting against his grip. In all honesty, she felt like crying when she was in his hands. Her body fell into the mattress, Rin gripping onto the covers. Rin tried to fight the tears coming down her eyes. And yet, in an odd way, she was happy.

"I"m...much stronger...and s-smarter than I look," She said to him.

Ceril headed down the hall with the cleaning supplies. She could hear maribelle and johanna talking, but decided to leave them be. She walked into an empty room and started picking up. Ceril turned down the bed and washed the floor. It felt strange getting down on her knees when she was sure her butt was sticking out. She kept pulling at her dress, but it did no good. She slipped out of her heels and dusted the shelves.

Seth licked her tears away, "Indeed stronger and smarter. If you weren't...you'd have run screaming from me by now and we all know a Vampire's instincts are to chase." He licked the curve of her ear and breathed, "And chase I would." Seth's inner monster tore at what was remaining of his restraint. He moved quickly now, nibbling at her ear and grinding his teeth so much his fangs hurt. He would not bite her...he would not make her into what he was. Not for the sake of more nights filled with decent entertainment and conversation.

Rin was sweating, her breathing becoming more and more shallow. The pain seemed to numb away for a little bit. All she did was lay there. "Give me some credit. Remember, I'm here because I want to be here." Her throat was dry because she hadn't had any water in the past few hours. Rin wanted to be with Seth for the rest of her existence, and she was going to do whatever it took to do it.

Seth released her completely and bent over her, "Are you truly? If you are here of your own free will, you would be able to come and go as you please. But you come and go as I say you do." Resting his knees between Rin's slight legs, Seth pulled back the covers, exposing her to the cold draft and ran a hand along her stomach. "But breaking your spirit wouldn't be fun. I'd have no one to annoy. Instead..." he lowered his lips to her stomach, "I'd be the one annoyed."

Rin let out a nervous laugh to his words. To her, it felt like she had slipped into a wonderful dream. Rin knew that she was no longer in control of her own fate. She wasn't even in control of her own body. Her breathing became heavy.. "It's my choice to stay here and stay by your side. You said I'm just a pet, right?"

Seth chuckled and licked her skin, "That's right....you're my pet. My pet...only I will taste your blood...and your happiness." Removing the covers completely, Seth relpaced his hand where it was and gently cut open the skin on her chest and tossed the small razor aside. He licked up her blood and gave what he could as morning closed in on the Vampire house and afternoon settled in.

having not spent the entire night out, serena woke late and crawled out of bed. She headed into the kitchen and started making breakfast for herself and vickie, whom would surely be up shortly after. The little cabin began to smell of eggs, bacon, and seasonned potatoes. Serena always did love making breakfast. It was her favorite meal of the day. Her robe began to slide a little, so she pulled the drawstring tighter on the satin robe. She had a pair of boxers and a tank top on underneath, but still wasn't comfortable with showing much skin. She could hear vickie getting up kn the back of the cabin, and began dishing up the food. what are we going to do with her? There's only two more nights... serena let out a sigh as she set the table and watched vickie come scurrying out into the dining room. The sun was alreadu high in the sky and she wondered how late annie would sleep.

Rin had been passed out for about half an hour now. She was up late and wasn't really ready to wake up when she originally did. She looked down at the scar across her chest, tracing the gash with her finger. She remembered getting that scar, but not too much after that. Still, she was happy that she was able to give Seth some of her blood to keep him alive and with her. "Seth," She called out, covering herself with the blanket.

"Do you remember what it was like," Johanna asked to Mirabelle. "Y'know, when you were first changed. I remember being so frightened."

Seth mumbled against her hair, his hand splayed possessively across Rin's stomach. Warmth radiated from him for once. Seth cracked open his eyes and flinched as sunlight hit them. "Mmmmf...five more years mum...."

Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~

Mirabelle sighed, brushing her hand across Mimi's forehead, "Yes...I remember quite vividly. My Sire was a cruel man with a lovely sense for flowers. He showed me how to care for a rose...and in turn...I asked him what I could do for him....his response was for me to die. My Sire hated my guts. He took everyone I loved and turned them against me. As for when he turned me...it was quite simple and I should've seen it coming. An ambush on the street on my way home...him and all his friends, none of them Purebloods bit into me...and finally he sank his fangs into me... I thought I was being raped. If only he was that kind..."

Rin smiled when she heard Seth speak to himself. She found it very human of him. Her back tickled when he touched her. She fell back into the bed, enjoying the nice quiet moment with him.

Mimi's Room~~

Johanna let out a sigh. Her own experience wasn't as harsh as Mirabelle's. "Remember when I came here? I thought that it was just stories parents told their kids to keep them out of trouble. I wonder what would have happened if I had just decided to stay away from here that night."

A bright chime echoed through the house, starting from the house phone. Seth stirred, rolling over irritably and finally sat up with a snarl. "For once I'd like to sleep without the annoyance of that noise!" He growled ferally and flung open his door, "Yuka! Get the damn phone! Cooke, prepare breakfast and a lunch for Rin!" Slamming the door, Seth winced, watching Rin carefully. He wasn't a happy morning person and it didn't help his mental state with her sitting in his bed with such a cute face. "We're going out today. You're still sixteen, you're attending a proper school so no one can say you don't have a proper education." He slipped behind the door to his bathroom and flipped on the shower.

Rin had a disdain for the sound of the phone as well. She was already planning in her head a way to get to the phone and silence it for an hour or so (or maybe even a few days). Rin liked the idea of going out with Seth, but was not at all thrilled about going to school. The only schooling she knew was when the owner of the Orphanage would teach them. It was very rare for them to have kids Rin's age staying there, so Rin wasn't too sure if she was as caught up as most sixteen year old's would be. "Can't one of your maids just home school me or something?"

Seth shut off the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist and another one over his shoulders and leaned against the door. "They're further behind than you are. Yuka, Mirabelle and Cooke know only what they were taught hundreds of years ago. Society today frowns on their behavior."

Rin pouted, feeling defeated. She doubted that he would hire a private tutor for her. The idea of going to an actual school seemed out of the question for her. She never fit in with normal society, and it would all just lead of to one big climactic break down for her. Seth was the only person she ever had a connection with. She went back into the bed, forcing the covers over herself.

Seth sighed and sat on the edge of the bed closest to her. "Rin...school isn't terrible. I'll drop you off and pick you up everyday if I'm not busy. And..." he pulled the covers away from her face and peered in the darkness under the blankets, his golden eyes glowing unnaturally, "I'll visit you during your lunch period. After all, I get hungry on a regular basis too. I doubt my pet would want me feeding on any other girl I find." He teased gently and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Please, Rin. I'd be happy if you attended Luin's High School."

Mirabelle stood when Mimi's time was up and her breathing stopped finally. She was dead, finally dead and the rest of the process would happen quickly. Mirabelle rang the bell for Cooke to bring up some of the blood from the blood bank in the hospital and she heard Yuka's frightened cry and the shattering of glassware.

There was no way that Rin could fight his gaze. Her forehead, as well as her cheeks, started to burn bright red. Rin wanted to fight going to school, but she knew in her heart that she would never end up the winner of this conversation. Her body twitched when he heard herself mentioned as his "pet". It wasn't as demeaning as much as she thought it would be. It was just a name. A name that only he would call her. "Alright, fine. Only if it makes you happy. You'll have to remember to wake me up though."

ceril heard the glass breaking and dropped her cleaning supplies. yuka didn't seem to be the type of person to just drop things. she always came off more poised than that. she ran out of the room and down the hall until she found yuka with the phone in her hand and the dishes on the ground. "what happened?" ceril was rather concerned from the look on yuka's face.

serena showered and changed after eating and went about picking up the cabin. there was still plenty to do after moving. they may have gotten all of the stuff in place, but it was still a mess. annie was certainly not going to be up for a few more hours and she wanted to have as much done by the time that occurred. she watched through the window as vickie played out in the yard. the little girl had lots of toys, but it was rather sad always seeing her alone. serena really wanted to bring her to school, but she didn't have the leading authority on that option. talk to annie when she gets up. vickie needs to go to school.
