Running at full speed was the trickster and thief, Lilith. She wasn't alone though, she was being pursued by a male that looked to be about sixteen years of age. She had had something taken from him, and it was not what he had planned to have taken from him. Oh she remembered the look in his eyes so well. His eyes had lit up, thinking he was about to have the experience of a lifetime as she had promised him. Shirtless and laying on his bed in wait, he would have been imagining all the things that were about to happen, only to have those thoughts be hushed away as he heard the sound of a door slam and a girl gleefully running away, his grandmother's valuable necklace in tow. Lilith hadn't known about the necklace until she had gotten into the home, but you can bet that the desire to take it far outweighed the desire she had had only moments before.

Faster her feet ran until she at last headed to the entrance to the tunnel the other humans and lustors had gone to. Arriving at the entrance, she turned and gave a little wink. "Maybe next time, buh-bye!" she teased with a little laugh. Then, in less than a second, she was gone. She had 'blinked' a few meters away into the tunnel, but to the boy it would look as though she had simply vanished. Running along the tunnel now wearing the necklace around her neck, she hurried to where Jedediah and the others were. With a slight skid, she stopped next to the aforementioned 'hero' and gave a slight laugh. "Oh man, you wouldn't believe how gullible the boys around here are!" she said with a slight giggle.

Gawain sighed a sigh of relief as he saw The Warden leaving. While he knew that The Warden would more than likely keep his word and come back for them later, they were safe. For the moment. General Orpheus' plan had seemed to work, and Gawain had to admit that it was an interesting idea. While it was a good one, and arguably the thing that had won them the battle, the warrior did not agree with him sacrificing a comrade to do it. Normally he would argue, give Orpheus a piece of his mind, but his injuries were getting the best of him, and he at last felt the fighting spirit leave him. The battle was over, and he allowed himself rest as consciousness left him and he passed out in the middle of the battlefield.

Sven simply stood there, eyes wide open in shock. Part of him wanted to be thankful for what Orpheus had done; he had undeniably saved them all. The move was a smart one, but the other part of himself could not get past one simple fact: he had brutally harmed Cierra. After all she had been through, after everything that had happened to her before, she had escaped her captor before and come to them. And then Orpheus went and did that. Walking right up to Orpheus, he stood up to his full height, which wasn't much but his posture suggested aggression and he stood right up in Orpheus' face.

"What the **** was that?! I'm all for beating back The Warden, but that was not the way to go about it! We're supposed to protect Cierra, to keep her safe, not throw her out as the sacrificial lamb!" he screamed out. The tension in the air could have been cut with a knife and could most certainly be felt by those around. The young lustor was losing it bigtime and it was obvious.

Hunter pulled his hands out of his pants quite fast after Gwen's remark. He held his right hand over where his heart would be and did his best to feign a look of hurt and shock. "I am offended! How could you think that I would do such a thing? I think we both know I'm a gentleman and a very considerate man!" he cried out. At this, he felt two little spirit orbs ram into him. "Ow! Okay, okay, not even I can believe that. But seriously, why would I do that in the middle of a-" he began, but was cut off by a strange tingling sensation in his body.

Was this what guilt felt like? Regret? Was mother nature calling? No, it wasn't that. It couldn't be that, he had answered that call just before he went into the tunnel. This was- yes! It was that power he had read about in the book. He could barely remember the name of the book. An...anne...anne..eee..my? He could have sworn it was something like that. The book stated that when confronted with a higher power, by the logic of anime a strange and powerful force would empower a person. At the time he had shrugged it off as nonsense, but the proof was there. He was the chosen one. The one destined to defeat the spiritia. "I knew all this awesomeness wasn't for nothing!" he exclaimed.

Leaping into action, Hunter hopped forward and swung his sword with extreme speed, straight through one of the spiritia. Not one to be deterred so easily, he tried again, and once more it passed through harmlessly. "Excuse me, I don't know if you know how this works. You're supposed to be..y'know, dead" he said, pointing a finger accusingly at the spiritia.

A twenty year old man was shaking on his knees as the claws of another red haired man hovered mere centimeters away from his neck. "W-who are you? What do you want with me?" The man on his knees stuttered. "You can just call me Outlaw." The red haired man responded. "As for what do I want with you? Well you should already know that. There is no running from the law, especially not the Warden's law. You will pay for your crimes." Outlaw twirled a pair of handcuffs on his right index finger as he spoke. "I didn't do anything. I swear. Whatever you think I did you are wrong, you got the wrong guy!" The man desperately pleaded. This is not what Outlaw heard however. Instead he heard. "I did it. I swear. You have the right guy. I did do what you think I did." It was impossible to lie to Outlaw. No matter what you tried to tell him, he always heard the truth behind it. The only draw back to this was that he couldn't lie, making his attempts to hide he was a luster more difficult then it should be. "I am sick of your lies and yapping. Nighty night." Outlaws tone was somewhat serious but at a slight almost sarcastic sound to it. With that he lifted his left hand away from his victims neck and brought the back of that hand down across the mans head, knocking him out. The Warden didn't want this one dead, meaning he couldn't have as much fun with it. Slinging the man up over his shoulder he started carrying him away.

Outlaw tipped his hat to the guards of the prison that the Warden ran on his way through. He casually grabbed the keys to one of many empty cells, not caring which one, but careful not to touch the one for cell number 123. It was the one cell number that seemed out of place but that was because it was for a special target, an escaped prisoner from his last job, one he was determined to find. It was also one of the jobs that Outlaw would never take. He knew better then to take on jobs that seemed personal to the Warden. Tossing the limp body in one of the empty cells Outlaw locked the door and was off to collect his money, not stopping to talk to any of the guards, just simply out to find the Warden.

It took about forty-five minutes to track down the Warden. When he did he was with one of their informers, Maye. At first not paying attention Outlaw tossed the cell keys at Warden.
"Another job done. Now where is my money." He stuck out his hand awaiting payment. That was when he looked up at the mans face and saw it all burnt. "Woah man, what the hell happened to you? Did you decide to stick your face in fire or something? That stuff burns ya know." Outlaw said with a slight chuckle. He knew full well that he probably shouldn't be joking with the Warden, but at the same time he didn't scare him so what did it matter. Outlaw was an expensive but valuable asset. Very few could track down and capture or kill as many criminals as he did in such a short period of time. "Aw don't tell me you went after someone and came back empty handed. That's not like you man." Outlaw used the back of one of his claws to move some hair out of his face. Although he could take them off at any time Outlaw almost never walked around without the one on his left hand on. It didn't matter what he was doing. He always had it with him and become good at using it for various tasks you probably should be using sharp blades for.

    "What was that you punk?"

Currently the man known as Grim was in quite the predicament. Backed into a alley, surrounded by three goon one of which was lifting him up by his collar. The concept of personal space had vanish as the brute was right up in his face. Though in spite of all this, there wasn't a single hint of fear nor any emotion on Grims face.

"Say that again, I dare you."

Despite the clear threats against him, a calm emotionless voice spoke. "I said that you're nothing but a good for nothing bum who has no choice but to either steal or kill to make a living. The silence following his words lasted for what seemed to be an eternity. The brute definitely wasn't expecting him to actually repeat what he said. "What's wrong, raven's got your tongue or did I strike a nerve." He didn't particularly care which it was so long as he didn't have to deal with this man any longer.

"Why you little punk. Don't think just because your missing an arm I'll let that slide."

So he did notice that he only had one arm, maybe he was that much of a bum after all. He still was of course. The mans fist were shaking in anger as he released Grim's collar in preparation for an attack. That was his first mistake for in the time it too the brute to swing a blow his way, Grim pulled out his scythe and countered.

In the blink of an eye, a forearm flew into the arm and landed on the ground before them. What followed next was a painful scream form the victim and his goons. Without caring for their screams nor pained expression on the assailants face, Grim kicked the severed limb towards him and spoke. "Unless you want to lose your head next, leave and never show me your face again."

In a frantic, fear induced scramble, the severed arm was grabbed and the trio fled for their live. This prompted Grim to retract the pole part of his weapon to a smaller size so that he could hide it away easier. After all, walking around with a scythe, dripping with blood, on your back wasn't the best way to attach attention. Leaving the alley, he paid no attention to the puddle of blood on the ground where the severe limb was, nor to the trail leading to where the three goons had gone. What they did now was none of his concern, but instead the concern of the poor bastard that they pleaded to.

The warden was about as far from the mood for jokes as he could be. All he did to react to Outlaw's comments was hurl a fist into the man's jaw. then throw a small sack of gold coins at him. "The only reason i lost is because Orpheus pulled an underhanded tactic no one in their right minds would do. Next time, he'll be dead before he can do anything like that. And when he is, they'll all be writhing like worms on their hooks." Th. e warden growled. He looked to Outlaw, laying on his back after the punch. "You...I'll pay you double if you come with me on a certain job. What do you think of attacking Castle Mordecai? A No survivors operation." Xerxes said with a grim seriousness. Once those two set out toward that castle, not a force in the heavens or the earth could save them from their gruesome fate.

Orpheus glared daggers at Sven. "Listen to me, if i hadn't done that, he would have killed her right then and there. I didn't sacrifice her, i saved her. Now if you'd rather sit there and scream about how there was another way, be my guest. It's over and done with. But if you truly care about what happens to her, if you really want to protect her, you'll follow my orders to the letter. She's not dead yet." The necromancer bent over and picked up the girl, throwing her over his shoulder. A slight sizzling sound was heard and Orpheus made a pained expression. Walking over to a makeshift medical table set up by his undead, he set her down and turned back to Sven. "Always remember one thing, the oath to protect her is one i never swore. Her life rests with you and you alone. I protect her out of courtesy to you, and nothing more."

Tearing off his cape, he used it as a makeshift bandage to wrap around her most serious wounds "You would do well to show some gratitude." Then pressed his hand down against the wound to apply pressure and stop the bleeding. Orpheus gritted his teeth, enduring the pain. "The humans have the key to her salvation. A lustor with the power to heal using her blood. Deliver the message that i'm willing to withdraw the blockade on the human district in exchange for her to heal our wounded. They shouldn't be able to refuse that. Make haste."

After all the injuries that the both of them had been delivered had been taken care of, the group of four had ended up traveling from where they were to a totally different location. The distance was covered in a process that took no time, otherwise known as a time skip, and as such, the group had absolutely no time in between said time skip to actually ask where they were going. However, once they reached said destination, Emi was gracious enough to tell them just where they were. A mystic tunnel filled with mystical spirits and the like. Well that was certainly different than anything the young maiden of justice was expecting.

As soon as the Spirita started interacting with them, Jedediah started to actually react to the fact that Emi could in fact be an angel. As he did, Charlotte sighed towards the man's firm belief that he was indeed the chosen one of God to defeat Mordecai and save all humans. Once he was finished, she looked at Emi and said, "though this was quite the shocking reveal Emi. Though I have to wonder, if an angel is on our side, wouldn't that mean a demon could be just what we're fighting against?" She was clearly referencing the big wig of all the Lustors, when suddenly a voice came into the tunnel that made Charlotte feel a very unpleasant feeling.

    Lilith.

A girl who reeked of injustice so much so that there was a part of Charlotte who wanted to do nothing more than decapitate her in various ways. The only reason she hadn't was because of plot she was a friend of Jedediah, who (other than some other psychopath) had just as large a passion justice as her. So she couldn't be a complete embodiment of injustice, right? Regardless she still looked at the girl and said, "so, what sort of vileness brings you this way?"

What a truly brutal way to use an ally. Still desperate times call for desperate measure and that definitely qualified as a desperate measure. As the Warden fled suffering his injuries another one of Orpheus's allies didn't take to fondly to his actions, which was clear by what was said.

Kasen stood there in silence for a bit longer before deciding to make his presence know once more and started clapping, despite the clear tension in the air. "That certainly was an interesting way of winning. Using your ally like that." He'd taken a few steps closer as he spoke, which gave him a closer look at the injuries that the girl sustained. Things certainly didn't look well for her if help wasn't found.

Unfortunately the only method he had of possibly helping required her to die for a bit and there was still no guarantee that it would work, so he choose to keep that bit of information to himself. No point of giving someone false hope only to take it away, well no point in this situation that is. After the fight he just saw, he had all the more reason to be a bit more careful around them. At least til he was strong enough to have better odds in winning should he face them.

She shrugged at his words. "Underhand or not, you still went into a fight where you were seriously outplayed. You need to learn to fold when your hand is god awful. Bluffing only goes some ways before they call you out. And your bluffs were out called badly my dear Warden." She rummaged through her jacket and pulled out a few bottles of different colored vials. "Some of these should help you out with your issue. Hopefully they don't go wasted. It took me quite some work to obtain some of these."

Speaking of the devil, the sound of bars shutting made Maye turn towards the sound. The Outlaw. She narrowed her eyes at him. She never really liked him. Maye only knew him since he also worked under the Warden. Something about him kinda ticked her off. Possibly because he can never put away his claws every time she saw him. Gave him that large egotistic personality.

Though what came out of the Warden's mouth was as if he paid no heed to her words. How it irritated her. "Oh dear did I just hear that right? You...and him. Going to crash into Castle Mordecai? For god sake I thought the last stunt you pulled was dumb. This is beyond pure stupidity. You know what? I'm just gonna let you two men talk all this crap out and have your special "plans" of busting in, doing your job, and then singing around a campfire." She shook her head and walked off to the side angrily muttering to herself. "Goddamn...why can't there be any female jailers? They would have so much more common sense than this pile of crap..."

OOC: Will put in banners tomorrow. Aye?

Emi merely sighed at Jedediah's reaction. The poor fool really believed himself to be of a man of the gods. The Goddess wasn't really one to pick people for divine purposes. The worst of this was that her cover was now blown. There was no point in hiding the truth any longer. Telling them now might be better then not.

"I guess there is no point in hiding anymore. An angel I am, but I am also a lustor. The same goes for the other side in which we call demons. You would assume Mordecai to be one, but he is not. A demon finds no in a race of dominance. They prefer to make any being of life suffer."

"There can only be 3 demons and 3 angels in the world at one time. My brethren are spread onto the other two continents. The demons are the same. I do not know who the demon here is, but I'm certain he a power to be feared. I'd be able to recognize him or her if I saw them."

She paused for a moment, another entering the tunnel. It was rare, but some people knew of the pathway, mostly from blind luck. After all, the only way to get into this place was to either have knowledge of it location or find it without knowing its existence. Seeing Charlotte's reaction to her however was one that needed to be dealt with.

"Retract your hostility. Recall that the Spiritia react to internal emoti-" She stopped speaking, hearing the voices of others up ahead of them... the sounds of suffering. "Actually, we need to move... Now!" She darted ahead up to Hunter and Gwen's location. She needed to soothe the Spiritia before those two became dead themselves.

    -Feo Copy 1: Spiritia World-

He merely laughed at the two being beaten to death by the Spiritia. It was an emotion of joy so it was clear the beings around him were more upbeat, even if the reasoning was dark. "You can try to fight them all you like... You cant kill that which has no life. The angrier you get, the more furious they will become."

-Feo Copy 2: Wherever this alley way is-

He looked over to him with a careless expression. "I landed here and decided to split. Is that a problem?" He questioned, unsure if this person was threatened or not. He may not have looked to terrifying, but his abilities most certainly did. Feo wasn't entirely in the mood to fight though.

It seemed that nothing that Gwen or Hunter did was helping. Not her arrows nor hunters sword would help them here. Gwen ignored Hunters reply to her. She was well aware that was likely not what he was doing but she enjoyed giving him a hard time anyhow. But as the Spiritia began to pelt them more, and with more strength Gwen's hands began to shake. It was the onset of a panic attack. Although prone to them normally Gwen was able to keep them under control and not very many people knew that she had them. However situations like this are what could bring them on. If she knew she was getting beat and didn't know what to do about it, she tended to panic. Her breathing grew heavy as she dropped to her hands and knees. She used her hands to cover her neck and left her elbows resting on the ground. "Hunter... get them away from me! Please!" She begged. Although Gwen was fast with a bow and arrow, not to mention accurate, she wasn't very good at taking a beating. If you simply looked at her and her body type you would have never thought she would be someone to be doing any sort of fighting. There was a reason she never stayed around long enough to double check that the job was done and the person was safe when hunting Lusters in the Human district. If it was not done, if her target had not died and tried to engage her in combat up close, she wouldn't stand a chance. That is why Gwen always kept her distance in a fight, but now she couldn't. As desperately as Gwen wanted to get her act together, stop shaking, and find a way out or to make these creatures stop, she couldn't. She didn't know how. As embarrassing as it was, she was begging Hunter to save her and that was all she could manage to do for now.

Cierra's skin grew more white then usual as blood had drained from her body. Her heart was racing trying to keep up with the blood loss but it was struggling. Those around could hear that she was still somewhat struggling for hair. Breaths where loud and deep as she was just trying to inflate her lunges with one of few things essential to surviving. Things where indeed looking quite grim for the young girl at this time. While the young Luster girls physical body lay on a cold medical table with Orpheus standing over her the girls mind was searching deep within her subconscious through many memories she had suppressed.

Inside Cierra's mind a ghostly projection of herself floated above a lonely isolated cell, that contained a young white haired seven year old girl.
"How dare you kill my parents! They did nothing wrong! You are the monsters not them! Let me go! Let me go! This is unfair!" The young girl that Cierra had recognized as a younger version of herself yelled out. "Shut up." A deep booming voice echoed through the entire prison. The voice brought shivers to Cierra's spine. She watched as the giant man walked in the cell. Cierra tried to step in his way but he passed right though her, she wasn't actually physically there, simply watching the events of her past. But these events she didn't remember. Xerxes stood towering over the younger version of Cierra who sat chained up on the floor. "You are a dirty old meany head! Wait till I get my powers. You'll see I will take you out!" The girl yelled up at the warden. Cierra couldn't believe how brave she was then. This young girl seemed to have no fear of the Warden, or at least that she showed. Something more was that it seemed that she had her memories. She knew who she was, and she knew who her parents where. She was not the lost soul that simply followed others out of a lack of other purpose like she was now. "I said shut up!" The warden brought his foot back then swung it forward into the side of the young girls head which in turn caused her to fly over and bash the other side against the concrete wall. She was out cold.

Older Cierra gasped trying to replay what she saw. A few tears escaped her eyes as she floated there and watched what just happened. She could see a small amount of blood trickle out of younger her's head. Somehow she knew this is where her world now began.

A sound was heard from the girl which drew Cierra out of her thoughts. A moan. Looking over Young Cierra was waking up, her head bandaged up.
"W-where am I.... Who am I...." The young girl questioned. A dazed look in her eye. As it seemed she couldn't even remember her own name. The girl walked up to the cell door. "Hello? Anyone? Where am I? Why am I here? Anyone? Help I don't know what is going on!" Instead of angry this time the girl looked like she was panicking. That was the moment she lost all her memories. That was the moment things changed, her whole world went from bad to worse.

As quickly as it started the vision ended. Cierra had awakened to find herself in immense pain, laying on her stomach on a table. Pressure was being put on her back, by who, she didn't bother to try to look. Cierra didn't even open her eyes, simply let out a quiet groan before deciding to focus on her breathing. As she did she remembered her bloods warmth. Whoever was putting pressure on her back was sure to be in a bit of pain. Slowly Cierra reduced the temperature of her blood down to that of a normal persons. Though difficult to concentrate on due to her nearly losing consciousness a few times, she was managing. As she did her pail skin became cold as well. There was not enough air getting circulated to it at this time. But not once since she woke up did she let herself thing that she was actually going to die.

"Hey! Not nice! Didn't your mother ever teach you to not punch people?" Stephan yelled up at the Warden before a sack of money landed on him. "Alright this is what I am talking about." He chuckled as he began counting gold pieces. He didn't pay attention to The Wardens excuse for why he lost, though it wasn't like he was talking to him anyways. Then the Warden spoke of a no survivors mission at Castle Mordecai. Stephan didn't have a lot of problems with the people there but the idea to do that and get back at Mordecai excited him. "I'm game!" He said as he jumped to his feet. "This is going to be fun." Stephan seemed overly giddy about the idea. Them Maye spoke up, calling them stupid. "Hey now. No need to be jealous because you can't come along." He walked up to her and slowly brought one of the blades of his claw down her cheek, not giving it enough pressure to actually cut her. He then turned and grabbed a single gold coin out of his sack and tossed it to her. "Treat yourself babe." He said with a wink.

Grim's walk had taken him to a old tree in some part of the district. Looking up, he saw that the tree was a group of birds around said tree. Some were flying around it while one was sitting on the branches. That one bird was a raven and it looked down towards Grim before flying down and landing on his shoulder.

It squawked a few times after landing, which to him was understood as. "Do you have a thing for birds or something, cause you sure like being around trees."

The possibility that he would be questioned by a bird never once crossed his mind and yet, it was happening to him right now. "Let's just say that I prefer to be around birds as oppose to people."

Another squawk came from the Raven. "So long as you don't do anything weird."

It figures that he'd get the one bird that questions him. If that was what he wanted, he'd go talk to some random person and turn to into a therapist by telling them all of his probelms. Of course they'd think he was crazy and try to get away from him, which is why that was an example becuase that was a very easy way to get judged by a lot of people. Especially if the action was in front of a large group of people.

Anyway, he looked the bird in the eye and said "Alright you annoying winged beast, do yo think that you can fly around and see what you can find?" His voice had taken a more stern tone as he spoke. In return the Raven pecked at its wing for a few moments before answering.

    "What's in it for me?"

"I'll feed you bread or some kind of grain." That was the only thing that he could think of the bribe the bird with. Though it seemed to be enough fore the bird flew in to air, not before smacking Grim in the face with its wing. Clearly that bird wasn't all that fond of him. No matter, just because he could talk to birds better than he could talk to people didn't mean that he liked all of them.

Sven turned his head away from Orpheus. Even if he didn't agree with his methods in the slightest, he knew that the necromancer was right. By injuring Cierra and spilling her blood he had saved her from The Warden. By nearly killing her he may have saved her life, but only if something was done about the bleeding. Someone would have to go to the human district, someone that was both quick and could get the healer with haste. As much as he loathed the humans, the very idea of losing Cierra was one he hated more. He would go, as he would have even if Orpheus had requested somebody else.

He gave a brief nod before taking one more glance at Cierra, laying there, her breathing not as fast as he would have liked it to be. "I'll deliver your message. If the humans don't listen and they refuse, then I'll take the healer by force" he said, his voice grim and a little edgy. With that being said, he took off without another word, running with great speed towards the human district.

Lilith stuck her tongue out at Charlotte. She didn't particularly like Charlotte very much, she always treated her as though she had some dislike for her. So, it was only fair to dislike her back wasn't it? "Charly you should be nicer. If you keep frowning all the time and being all uppity you're going to wind up getting wrinkles, and then who's going to want you?" she teased. Lilith would have continued her little tease, but that was when Emi began running further down the tunnel. Having as short attention span as she did, Lilith's focus was immediately switched. "Oooooh, something interesting's happening! About time!" the girl said, blinking away a couple of metres and breaking into a run after Emi.

Hunter genuinely looked shocked at Gwen's statement. He looked that way because, well, he was indeed shocked and that's usually what happens when people are surprised. Gwen never asked for his help, she never seemed to do anything that would inflate his ego. Hunter's brows furrowed into a frown as slight anger began filling his body. This was his time to shine, his moment of truth. If he didn't kill the spiritia here and now, then they were both probably screwed. Everything. Depended. On this moment.

Hunter turned away for a brief moment. The man thought of every moment he had ever been jeered or laughed at, every moment he had been sneered at or attacked, he let the rage bubble away inside of him. Turning back with incredible speed, he took a step forward and....

    ...

    ...

He stared at them. Oh but it was not just any stare, it was the death stare to end all death stares. He even put Luigi's death stare to shame, that was how intense it was. Here was a man with such hatred and ferosity an aura of rage could be felt coming from him, but unfortunately the spiritia sensed it too, which was his plan all along but he really hadn't thought things through. Why would he listen to Feo? In his mind he was far too inferior to have an opinion worth something. The spiritia became empowered by this rage, became ever more violent, and unleashed an unbelievable barrage of headbutts into Hunter, knocking him clean off his feet.

His body now aching, Hunter slowly climbed up and stood tall. "Right, right, they feed off hate don't they. Looks like we're gonna have to drown 'em in love, happiness and joy then" Hunter explained. He then reached into his pockets and made a gesture to show they were clearly empty. "Sorry Ginger, I don't got a lot of love in me, not the kinda love they're after anyway" he said with a sly wink. Not satisfied enough with that, he opened his mouth once again to speak. "Y'know, we could always make so-" he was interrupted with a sharp jab to his stomach by the spiritia, who knew exactly what he was going to suggest and knew that it made Hunter a very dirty old man indeed. For all his sarcasm and cockiness, it appeared that Hunter's very existence angered the spiritia, which really didn't help their situation.

The Warden didn't pay much mind to what Maye said. He knew well enough that there were few in this world who could stand up to him. With outlaw at his side, there wasn't really much danger wherever they went. In fact, their reputation was strong enough that even a majority of the guards wouldn't fight against him, and as long as they didn't alert Mordecai's most elite guards, there was hardly any threat of even resistance. As long as they weren't stupid about it, they could send a message just fine. Outlaw was being his typical self around Maye, it was no wonder the woman disliked him. "Defeat doesn't sit well with me. It's bad for the reputation. When we get back from this, a message will be sent. My targets may as well dig their own graves, but if you manage to land yourself onto my personal **** list, you're already six feet under. Orpheus will know what it's like to be one of the bodies he hangs around, and when he is, the others will follow him." The warden said to no one in particular. Defeat only put you higher and higher on his priority list. Not to mention made him more driven to seek you out. It was almost childish the way he hated to lose and sought to get back at the person tenfold, but there wasn't a man alive stupid enough to say that to his face. "We leave now."

As difficult a task it was to endure the pain of Cierra's heat, Orpheus bore through the pain. Eventually, it began to lessen. He could hear the girl moan as she slightly regained consciousness. When she was awake, her body temperature lowered. Blood trickled from his undead, slithered its way across the ground, and onto his hand, repairing the tissue. This was nowhere near enough to keep up with the rate it was damaged from her heat, but it was still better than nothing and eased the pain, if only slightly. "Cierra, you've got to remain conscious. The more you slip away, the closer you are to death. You have to hang on. Sven is on his way with a healer. You must focus on something. Speak with me. Tell me..." Orpheus thought for a moment, trying to come up with a subject quickly. "Tell me of your past. Why Was the warden after you? What did you do to become a target of his?"

"Hark!" Jedediah called out as the cries for help echoed through the tunnel. He recognized the voice, it was Gwen, as well as Hunter! His allies and rivals in arms! (Well, he thought so at least) He couldn't let any harm befall her. Sprinting down the tunnel at full speed, he easily surpassed Emi and the others. For one, his running speed was above average by quite a bit, and most people would tire after a few seconds of running at their absolute limit. Due to his god given power, he was unrestrained by such earthly limits, if only for a short time. It wasn't long before he could see them up ahead. The spirits were assaulting them, and they clumsily fought back, unable to do anything against the spirits. "As god's chosen savior, the champion of humanity, In the name of the holy spirit, i command you to cease!" He screamed at the spirits as he slid between Gwen and the spirits, deflecting them with his shield entitled Avalon.

"How fare you, my lady? I hope that you are unharmed." The green haired Paladin said, looking back at Gwen with a heroic smile. Shortly after, he looked over to see Feo, his sadistic smile in tact. "You scourge! How dare you hex and manipulate the spirits of the dead into harming my comrades! There's only one creature alive that could possess such a foul and wicked power..." Jedediah began, his tone filling with spite. He shot Gwen a glance, indicating for her to stay where she was. He charged at Feo, skillfully evading contact with any such spirit due to his reflexive abilities. As he approached, the force he'd built up was enough such that he was able to, and ran along the wall for a brief moment before kicking off and forming into a spinning kick at Feo's face. "Perish, foul Demon!" Be it that conclusion as to his identity was correct, Jedediah's reasoning and assumptions as to how he came to it were a far cry from the truth.

Beuce casually strolled along, when in the corner of his eye he saw possibly the most dangerous thing ever encountered. A thick green wall of grass, a bush. Immediately, he backed away from it, hiding behind a nearby rock. He'd heard the legends about these...supposedly, there wasn't one in existence that didn't contain that man...Garen, the might of demacia. He hid in the fog of war these things produced, and as soon as an unsuspecting bystander walked by, the guy leaps out with his greatsword, spun at you, and then out of ****ing nowhere this gigantic sword falls out of the sky and kills you! True story! Well, not this time. This time, he'd be the one to get the jump. He pulled down the mask which covered his mouth, and from his throat, a jet of flames spurted out and engulfed the bush in flames. It didn't take long for the plant to completely burn to ashes. Seeing no body, Beuce assumed that his flames had killed the man and his sheer awesome had completely crushed the remains into nothingness.

Behind it was sure enough, the exit to the tunnel! "Called it."

Reaching into his pocket Outlaw took out a black handkerchief. Folding it in half on the diagonal he then proceeded to tie it across the lower half of his face. "Who knew that the general himself would be dumb enough to land himself on your hate list." Outlaw said. For as long as he knew Orpheus he never expected him to find a way onto the Wardens hit list. After all they had a common goal of taking criminals out of the picture. What could have happened to make those two have such a falling out that Orpheus made it on his list. After giving a quick tip of his hat to Maye, leaving it tilted down slightly to cover his face a bit. Stephan preferred not to be recognized when he got back to the castle. The Warden still didn't know where he came from, his previous work experience. "So Warden, buddy. What happened between you and the old general for him to make it on your **** list, huh? I mean don't you both basically want the same thing? So why take him out of the picture?" Stephan drilled. If the Warden lied about what happened he would know what happened, but if he chose not to tell him well then he was hooped. He had no other way of finding out, that was unless he got Maye talking, but he knew Maye didn't like him and probably wouldn't tell him, or at least charge him double her usual rate for her information.

Cierra was finding it increasingly hard to keep herself from fading again. The longer she lay on the table in pain, the more she longed for the distance from it that was passing out. But then she heard a voice warning her that slipping unconscious could lead to death. And he was right, when she was passed out she couldn't fight against her own demise. She could at least try when she was awake. It took a few extra seconds to realize who it was speaking to her. Cierra slowly forced her eyes open and turned her head just enough that Orpheus barely came into view. Orpheus himself was holding her wounds, enduring her extremely hot blood. She had fully expected him to have some random soldier do it, or Sven, but Sven was off to get a healer. A wave of guilt washed over Cierra. She started to feel like a burden to Orpheus, more trouble then she was worth. Cierra wasn't planning on saying anything, she didn't want to talk right now, but again Orpheus was right, she needed something to focus on and keep her awake. She also deserved him an explanation, after all it was her fault that they all just made the Wardens hate list.

"Okay...." Cierra slowly said followed by a couple small coughs. "... I can't tell you everything from the beginning because I don't remember it all... I lost my memories in the first few months of being in the jail I think...." Cierra didn't know what exactly to tell him. What details where important and which should be left out. "My parents.. I was told they where dangerous criminals, but no one told me what they did. They simply said that they where the reason I was in that jail. Being their daughter made me too much of a threat, even at a young age before I developed my powers." Once again Cierra trailed off this time taking a few deep breaths. Breathing was hard, she wondered in all the times she got bashed around if one collapsed or if a rib punctured one or something that made it harder to breath. Cierra then continued her explanation. "I was held chained up in a jail that the Warden patrolled for years... exactly how long I don't know. Then one day when the Warden was gone another jailer... one that I particularly didn't like, came into the cell and I got angry. My heat powers came apparent and I was able to burn away the wood, break myself free. I turned around and killed that jailer by burning his neck with my chains. The jail was under staffed so I was able to sneak over to a fire exit, but once outside was struggling against the two guards that stood outside the door. That is when Sven stepped in and saved me. The Warden has been after me since my escape." Again Cierra took an overly deep breath and cringed slightly from the pain in her entire body. "Escravo.... that is my last name... You may just know more about my origins then I do." Cierra finished her explanation, slightly scared that Orpheus wouldn't want to help her anymore because of it.

The more that Hunter talked the more that the Spirits left Gwen alone to attack him. "That's it old man. Just keep being your rude, sarcastic, stupid, perverted, sexist, ******bag self! They are leaving me along." Gwen exclaimed as she began to calm seeing that they where no longer attacking her. She could breath a bit better. That was until her comments called them back. "Oops..." She braced herself for more attacks, but none came, instead an even more irritating voice then Hunter... It was Jedediah. Gwen rolled her eyes at everything that Jedediah said. He always spoke as if he was the Hero and everyone loved him. That wasn't true. Truth be told she would rather spend time with the Sexist ******* that was Hunter then she would Jedediah. For some reason Hunter always brought out her fun sarcastic side. Meanwhile Jedediah just brought out her annoyed side like a lot of people. That side wasn't hard to get out of Gwen. She wasn't an overly warm person. As soon as Jedediah left to attack Feo the spiritia began to attack her again. But instead of screaming or shaking she chuckled thinking back to the Death stare that Hunter just made. It was kind of funny. A different way of trying to get them to leave. It was entertaining and she couldn't get that mental image out of her head. Even still Gwens sense of panic slowly grew once again the more she was attacked.

Sven stopped at the base of one of the huge walls that surrounded the human district. Looking up, he could see just how high they stretched. Most lustors would be stuck there, unable to get in. The main gate would probably be guarded by humans and be instant death to any single person trying to get in. Luckily, he was no ordinary lustor. Sven began creating bones extending from his feet, growing longer and longer as he rocketed high into the air and up on top of the wall. Upon arriving at the top, he retracted the bones and immediately felt a huge amount of blood leave his system. He began feeling very tired immediately, but he could not afford to stop.

He took a few steps along the wall, but it was then that a guard on top of the wall saw him. That one would have to be taken out quickly before he could alert others. Without a sound, Sven extended the bones inside his hand, causing three bony claws to stick out of his knuckles. Leaping over to the guard, he quickly cut the man's throat and let his body fall over on top of the wall. The next part of his plan had to come into play now. Looking around the area he was in, he saw from a distance a rather large home. Chances were the chief was there, as it looked like a rather important place. Now that he had found the house, he had to get there without being detected. Things were about to get interesting.

Lilith caught up to the others as they arrived at Hunter and Gwen. She recognized the two of them as the archer and the *******. She knew Hunter especially well though, she had heard many stories, seen him gloating all the time. His ego was well known. In fact, he seemed almost convinced that it wasn't Jedediah who was humanity's gift from God, but Hunter himself.

Part of the girl wanted to race in and start beating up Feo. It was far more entertaining than standing there doing nothing, but she had to think of the future. This was the perfect opportunity to build up Jed's ego and strengthen his belief that he was the gift from god, which would be all the more entertaining when he found out he wasn't. Keeping this in mind, Lilith started jumping up into the air and punching the air above her. "Yeah, kick his ass Jed! Murder him! Crush his little skull! Show him the strength of the lord! Teach him not to mess with God's chosen one!" she yelled out to him.

Hunter was just casually nodding slowly as Gwen spat out her string of insults. They were nothing he hadn't heard before, in fact it would have been strange if he hadn't heard them come out at some point that day. It defined who he was, and he acknowledged that. "You know, Ginger, you say them like they're bad things" he responded simply, cocky tone to his voice. It was then that Lilith came in cheering as Jedediah attacked Feo.

"Oh hey it's his holiness himself, Frank" Hunter said. He called Jedediah that because of how up-front he was about everything. This wasn't the first time he'd seen Jedediah, everyone in the human district knew of the boy who believed himself to be god's chosen one. They were wrong of course, everybody knew it was Hunter that was god's gift to humanity, especially himself. "You should step away from him though, holy boy. You ain't as good as you think you are, you need ta let the real gift from god take this one. You just sit there and pray 'til he's dead and see how that works out for ya, aight? I've got this" he said simply as he brandished his sword and took a step forward and leaped over the top of the spirits, coming down with a vertical slash on top of Feo.

Maye gave Stephan a hard stare, her eye twitching when his claw ran over her face. It took all her willpower not to shank his own hand into his lower regions. His ego was thick enough to cut with a heavy blade. Even her ego was checked in place in some serious situations. It's not an everyday thing two men decide to barge into a badass general's castle to get revenge. "You disgust me. There was nothing I needed. You just happen to walk in. That enough is wanting to make me shove your face into your own hands. How about a little deal hmm? You both come back alive whether you passed or not, and the drinks are on me mmkay? Maybe just for the Warden, not you asshand. I gotta be off now. I have better stuff to do than thinking of ways to ruin your face." Without waiting for an answer, Maye walked off from the two.

The girl rushed over to where Hunter and Gwen were in the middle of combat. "Gwen, Hunter!" She yelled out to them, but really that wasn't going to do anything. The spiritia were completely enraged at this point. The combat that was going on aggravated them even further. It couldn't be helped. She needed to just stop Hunter now before things get worse, Gwen she could probably get to cool off, but the other hot head wasn't going to brush this off.

Meanwhile, Feo saw the incoming attacks of Jedediah and Hunter. He breathed in and manipulated his atoms to force him backwards, letting the two fail to hit him completely. It was easier to do these kind of things with the Spiritia trying to kill each of them... Except for the blond for some reason... his strong will of justice just made them dance around him then re target Hunter.

Once on the ground, Emi ran over to Hunter, pulling out some of her adrenaline and bashing the back of his head. It was harder than the average human skull so it needed a bit more force. Once that was taken care of, she looked back to Gwen. "Gwen, calm yourself and just think of happy thoughts, that will make them stop their attack!" But as a precaution, and the fact her real nature was revealed, she would add onto the calming of the creatures.

With that added angel song, the Spirita managed to calm themselves more from their frustration. It would only return if there was any intentions of negativity within the air. "All of you just remain clam and peaceful."

"Well Well. I didn't expect to see the Goddess's little pawn in a place like this. That explains the number of pigs in here." Feo lowered himself, grinning at Emi. "You're lucky we're in such a place, Ano Hegal."

"That is Emi to you, demon." She retorted to him, staying calm. She in her mind wanted to banish him but knew that with these circumstances it was impossible. "And what are you doing here, Fau Danue."

"I return your statement with my name being Feo in this world. To tell you the truth, I was trying to open up the door to Niflheim with that idiot human there. Just a shame an angel happened to be here. His soul was worth at least 5 people too."

"You demons are still trying to break the laws of order I see. What makes you think the Goddess will allow you to upset the balance? Only 3 of heaven and hell may enter this world at a time."

"I don't care what your Goddess thinks of. We will open the door one way or another. Whether it be with sacrifice, or another method. That remains secret though. Now that I know you are aware of this place and I am heavily out numbered by both you and the spiritia, I'll take my leave." He breathed in and began to flee off through the other side of the tunnel."

Emi sighed and picked up Hunter with her adrenaline activating. "Everyone, let's leave this tunnel to the lustor district. I have a bad feeling that something regarding your races is about to happen..."

Orpheus ran the name through his head...Escravo...It was impossible, but she did say that her parents were dangerous criminals..."Yes...I know who your parents were...And knowing that, i can see why you were locked up for being their daughter. Your parents were...Dangerous to say the least. Not only that..." Orpheus paused, as if trying to find the right way to say it. "They're the reason my parents are dead." Said the general grimly. He thought back on it, though he felt no pain or regret. He had come to terms with their deaths a long time ago. The scars of the past had long since closed, and he was no longer fazed by the thought of such a gruesome scene.

The young general-to-be ran across the marble floor, his consciousness fading rapidly. The only thing that kept him alive was pure fear, he had to get away from these people. He had to find his father, then he'd be safe. There were two people in the house, a man and a woman. The fact they were lustors was obvious by their incredible power. The boy had been beaten senseless by the pair, and had a gaping wound in the side of his head. A crimson fluid blurred the vision in his left eye. All he could think about was that he had to get to the safety of his father's side. His father was a powerful lustor, he could easily kill the duo invading their home. He was leaving a trail of blood behind him, so the two could easily track him down, but salvation was within sight. the door to his father's bedroom was mere steps away. As fast as his torn legs could carry him, he bolted for the door.

But when he opened it, he felt no embrace of safety. There was no caring father for him to hide behind. Instead, all five of his senses were assaulted with the overpowering sense of death. The odor of blood filled his nose. The salty taste of the iron fumes rolled across his tongue, making him want to vomit. His skin was cold with the sweat, induced by fear running down his face. The sound of a repulsive "splat" as something wet hit against the wall, but the sight. The sight was the worst of it. A gory sight was brought into his vision by the dim light of the moon. His mother...Her stomach was wide open, a gaping hole in her body. The contents, her entrails, were splattered against the wall and over the furniture like some sort of sick decoration. Her clothes had been torn from her body, likely for the purpose of unspeakable acts.

His father, or at least what was left of him, lay on the other side of the bed. The entire lower half of his face was missing. His tongue lay out onto his neck, no jaw to separate the two. His sword was clutched in his hands, as though he had tried to put up a fight, but had been struck down. The position his eyes were in was towards his wife. It seemed he had seen the woman he loved in utter fear and agony as they raped and disemboweled her as his last sight in this world, unable to do anything to help her. The son of the two looked onto the sight in utter horror, but was soon flung across the room by a telekinetic force. As he hit the wall, he heard a pop, and immediately knew he had dislocated his shoulder. Blood from the various wounds had dripped away from him as he flew across the room, leaving behind a trail to him.

Faintly, he heard sinister voices proclaiming that he should have gotten out of the house when he had the chance, because they weren't going to let him escape a second time. They were going to finish what they started. The young boy was raised up against the wall as the pair closed in on him, stepping over his father. They looked at his throat with sadistic eyes, so many ways they could kill him. What would be the best? They could draw and quarter him, or crush his ribs one by one until the shards stuck out of his chest in an artistic fashion. The two debated the infinite ways to end Orpheus' life, but they never got the chance. A deep red appeared on the neck of the female, followed by her head falling from her body. The man spun around, just in time for the bloody mess that was once Orpheus' father, a general of the lustors, to run him through with the black sword in his hands and pin him to the wall.

At first, Orpheus thought somehow his father had survived the wounds and come to save him, but he realized the error in this upon looking closer. Once the two had been killed, he simply loomed there over Orpheus, his tongue hanging out unconstrained by the jaw that was no longer there. He didn't even look at Orpheus, just simply stood there like a mindless soldier awaiting orders. Upon struggling to his feet, Orpheus called for his father to look at him. The man obeyed. There was no life in his eyes. They were as dull, like a corpse. No...Not like. That's exactly what they were. The eyes of a corpse. His father had not survived. Thinking about the way he had obeyed his command, Orpheus told his father to bring the body of his mother to him. The ghoul did as it was told. In order to test something, Orpheus wiped some of the blood off his face and onto the woman held by his new found servant. Sure enough, she lifted her head. Orpheus had discovered his power as a lustor. He could bring back the dead. Actually...that wasn't quite right. All he could do was command the bodies of those that once were. The master of death...People always told him he was a dark person, but this was taking it to a new level. Unable to handle the stress of the situation, Orpheus fell to his knees and passes out, the two arisen nobles standing guard over him in his unconsciousness. They weren't his parents...Not anymore.

As Orpheus finished conveying the story to Cierra, He looked down at his hand. It was severely scalded, but he showed no signs of it hurting. Instead, he was simply gathering his thoughts, trying to place his opinion of the situation. Of Cierra. Several lustors around looked shocked at the graphic nature of the general's and the girl's pasts, apparently having been listening. Even more so than that, the tone Orpheus had told the story in. As though he were simply reading it off of a script, uncaring what the words meant. Some began to question his sanity, as well as his humanity. But then, if those two things were lost on him, could one really say that would be less human than coming out of that without a mind etched with scars?

The warden grunted as Outlaw asked what Orpheus had done to land himself in his bad favor. The thought of the event filled the man with rage. "Let's just say he got in the way of me and my target." He said, obviously sore about losing. Not paying much mind to what Maye said, the enormous man set out the door, and off in the direction of Castle Mordecai. There was blood to be spilled, and a message to be sent.

Jedediah glared at Feo, the ******* had evaded their attacks. Thankfully, Emi had managed to calm the spirita. Jedediah listed to the conversation between Emi and Feo, as they spoke of their origins, and something of a goddess? Interesting. Perhaps the lord could take more than a single form. In any case, he gave a heroic smile to Lilith, who was cheering him on with some notable energy. She was usually an energetic one, it was a shame that the energy she used was often toward crime. He stuck near her in an attempt to convert her to a more calm life. Before he could further the thought, a voice called out from further down into the tunnel.

Beuce walked into the scene shortly after the spirits had stopped attacking. "So, sup? How's it hanging? Weren't you dead?" Beuce casually asked Feo, but seemed to just dismiss it as though he had overcome it as one would a cold. Looking over, he saw a golden opportunity in the unconscious Hunter. Pulling out a drawing utensil, he walked over to him to draw on his face. However, something stopped him. He seemed physically incapable of doing anything to him. What...What the hell was going on. Looking toward his writer with a puzzled face, he wondered what was going on. "We don't have permission. The rules forbid it." Beuce was shocked to hear it. The...the rules? People followed those?! Never in his life had he been restrained by such a thing! Grumpily, the white haired lustor put away his writing utensil and decided to wait until something plot significant happened.

Before Orpheus even started his story the words he spoke stung Cierra. As soon as he told her that he could see why she was locked up she became scared. Scared that Orpheus would just let her die here and now. Scared that he would throw her in prison. Worst of all scared that he would hand her back over to the Warden. If he agreed with the Warden that she deserved that she belonged locked up because of her parents what was stopping him from giving her back. After all that seemed to be what he believed she deserved. Even so Cierra couldn't even remember her parents, so why should she be held responsible for their acts. They paid for whatever it was that they did, did she really have to now?

Cierra's thoughts numbed as Orpheus started to tell his story. Right now her mind could only focus on so much. With her desperate attempts to keep her consciousness and her attempts to process what Orpheus was saying. All that didn't leave much room for free thinking. Each word that Orpheus spoke hurt her more. The pain of her wounds were nothing compared to the guilt she felt for her parents actions. They where indeed horrible people, worse then she could imagine. Cierra felt sorry for herself often, but now she had no reason to. She didn't deserve self pity. Her family made Orpheus's life hell, she didn't deserve any less then what she had gotten. Now knowing his story she didn't blame him if he handed her over to the Warden or just let her die here and now.

"Sorry..." Cierra's voice was quieter then ever now. She was hardly talking. "Let me die... avenge your parents..." Cierra seemed to have no emotion in her voice as her eyes drooped. It was a fair trade, was it not? Let her die because her parents killed his and nearly killed him. They scared him even with his emotional voices she knew that. If Orpheus needed something, some sort of pay back she understood. Admittedly there was many times that he would offend her or make her feel like a piece of crap and she would sometimes even start to think she would hate him for it. But now, now she couldn't.... She accepted it. If he let her live, she would be just as much in debt to him as she was to Sven, perhaps more.

Gwen could hardly breath. Her panic was too high. She could hardly hear Emi talking to her over her own heart beat. But she did hear something about happy thoughts and them leaving her alone. It was worth a try. After all she had nothing else to hang onto at this point. Happy thoughts, she didn't know what to think of for sure but she needed something. Slowly the spirita backed off and stopped attacking Gwen. Eni's song seemed to be helping. Even with them gone she was still shaking. Gwen slowly stood up her knees shaking. She looked over at Emi. "... Thanks...." Gwen said hesitantly. She never normally thanked people. Especially not Emi. Usually she thought of her as just an annoying pest, but she did actually save Gwen so she did deserve some sort of gratitude. "Yeah lets get out of here. I don't want to be here anymore." Gwen was still obviously uncomfortable in still being there.

Outlaw thought of who it could be he was after that he would try to take on the General. "Wait wait now way! She is the one you where after! I can't believe it. That scrawny brat is 123. Haha I can't believe it! I bet Orpheus didn't even know he was harbouring a fugitive!" Outlaw didn't realize what he had said until it was too late. Well there went his cover. He had just given himself away to the warden himself. It would certainly be interesting to see how this turned out for him. Unless Xerxes wasn't even listening, which he really hoped was the case. Outlaw took long strides to match Warden as they walked to Castle Mordecai. Stephan so dearly hoped that he would still be allowed to kill there. That the Warden would not make him leave. He was too excited for his little hunting trip to leave now. It wasn't even the money that interested him just payback at Mordecai.

The bird that Grim had managed to get to fly around in search of anything that stuck out had currently found nothing in particular. Though it wasn't like it was trying all that hard to find something. Having a birds eye view on things was handy every now and them, especially when you want to put little effort into looking for something. After flying for a bit longer, it had spotted something peculiar, two people, both of which wearing dark hats on their heads. Normally something like this probably wouldn't strike someone as out of the ordinary, but seeing as how one of them was pretty much towering over the person he was walking with that had to count for something. To the bird it definitely did.

So then came the task of signaling Grim. Squawking was out since it would likely be confused for just regular squawking rather than a signal. So it then decided to what birds do best (at least to cars which aren't in this) and send some bird droppings towards the hatted man. The shorter one not the giant. While this was going on, Grim had been following the bird in the direction it flew off in. He would have no clue what it did that would grab his attention, but he would find out soon enough.

As Orpheus told his tale, Kasen remained quiet. Not because he was putting on an act, not this time he was genuinely quiet. Since to him, only those that he could obtain some kind advantage or something from were worth paying attentions to, it made since why he's never hear of them before til now. Age too probably had something to do with it, but lets not worry about that now.

Still unknowings what to say due to aforementioned reasons, Kasen kept to himself. Again there hasn't much that he could do that didn't require the girl to die. So there was little chance of said plan being used even if he had chosen to bring it up. Parts of the tale was still in his head as he looked at at the girl. She didn't seem to be much of a killer, but considering a power she may eventually become a threat. All this was strictly towards him for it never hurt to prepare for certain situation, even if they never happened.

Lilith's attention was wavering, her level of wanting to be there was going down quite quickly. At least things were starting to get interesting now though, that was something. She faked a smile at Jedediah upon noticing his heroic grin. Knowing no emotional attachment to the boy, she thought of him purely as a source of amusement, and as long as her act worked she would keep it up, never letting him know the truth. Right as she was about to leave the tunnel altogether, she saw a newcomer enter.

His reactions were...different. One look at him and she could tell he was a lustor, that much was certain. Even if she didn't have her power, she'd certainly be able to tell from the steam rising from his body. The fact he was steaming made him all the more intriguing to the girl. Blinking over, she now noticed the drawing utensil he held. Knowing almost immediately what he had planned, she couldn't help but admire him a little bit. Great minds really did think alike. Reaching out, she simply snatched the marker away from him, burning her hand in the process. "You're hot, in more ways than one" she said with a sly wink at the end of her compliment. She didn't mean it, of course, but hopefully it would distract him away from the fact she had just stolen the marker from him. With a short skip, the troublemaker turned and hurried back to Hunter's unconscious body, to begin drawing a silly face on him.

Hunter was still focusing intensely on Feo and the spiritia, ready to open a can of whoop-ass on them, when he began hearing a voice. It sounded like a narration, almost like somebody was reading out his every action - yes i'm sure it's very creepy for you Hunter - and he could do nothing to stop it. Or could he? He had never heard the voice before, so maybe it was just a temporary thing. Temporary insanity was a thing, wasn't it? As Emi came towards him, Hunter turned around and held up his right arm. In an intense action movement, he blocked the attack and countered with a swift punch, knocking Emi unconscious and screwing Myst's plans over. Satisfied, he-

Wait a minute..what the hell is going on?

"THIS WILL TEACH YOU, VOICE IN MY HEAD. YOU DON'T CONTROL MY MOVEMENTS, NO MATTER HOW WELL THEY'RE NARRATED" he shouted defiantly. Standing his ground and not facing Emi, he was determined to not let his life be run by the mysterious voice in his mind, even if it meant being knocked out. "What? Knocked out? We've only just met, voice, and I already hate yo-" the man began saying, before being hit from behind and being knocked out.

So, it turns out the part about being un-detected meant very little to Sven. He had managed to successfully get to the building without any kind of alarm being raised, but he had by no means been careful. Slaughtering his way there, there was now a small pile of bodies neatly arranged against the wall; men that had tried to stand in his way. It felt good for Sven to kill some humans, he still hadn't forgiven them for what they had done to him. The turmoil he had been put through, and the suffering he had endured still stung as though his brother had been killed before him only the day before.

Keeping this anger in mind, he used it to fuel his determination to save Cierra further. He had failed to protect one person he cared about, he wouldn't fail again. Simply pushing the door open, he was surprised to find it unlocked; the humans trusted each other far too much, it seemed. Inside was a man of darker skin tone. Could he be the chief? He was certainly tall enough to be one. "Hello, little shitstain, I'm going to make you a deal right here, being the kind lustor I am. You tell me where the chief is, and maybe i'll give you a quick death, rather than a long and painful one. He and I have some urgent matters to discuss, and I really don't have time to wait. So, what's your decision?" Sven asked, almost in a taunting tone of voice.
