    I think it's that Ichigo's powers are a mimicry of his dad's to an extent until it separates off (such as the whole Hollow aspects to his Bankai thing) since Ichigo's zanpaktou was made when his shinigami half (cause he's like half shinigami technically from birth right?) swallowed up Rukia's then with some Urahara meddling BAM. Daddy's powers with a twist.

    Did anyone besides Aura and I watch the new episode? Starrk showed off. 8D I honestly think Starrk is near Yamamoto's level of power. He singlehandedly could have defeated four captains...too bad Starrk was lazy and wasn't out to kill anyone during the whole fight. << Then he got owned by a hax Shikai. >>

    I'm curious to see how things would have turned out if Ichigo fought him instead of Ulquiorra. XD

    It's...277 I think. Or 278. >< Just google "bleach episodes" and go to the first link. It's the newest episode right now. The episode before it had a filler fight involving Shunsui and Starrk. By "filler fight" I mean something awesome that wasn't originally in the manga.

    Hollow Ichigo is back! This is gonna be one of the most epic battles ever! And he's in full hollow form none the less. I'm so syked to see what happens. Although, it's pretty obvious Ichigo will win again. I'm still curious as to what Gin will do.
