一護　そうかきいたのか　どうもそうらしいぜ　死神代行も返上しねえとな
Ichigo: He told you that? I guess so. Looks like I'll have to give up being a shinigami agent.

Rukia: When your powers disappear the first stage is intense pain and loss of consciousness. When your body passed through the dangai the passage of time was probably reversed and your hair became shorter.

Although we didn't ask. At the time you lost your shinigami powers. The second stage is the stabilization of the spirit pressure and regaining consciousness.

Ichigo leaves the front door.
一護　（霊の気配を感じない　ルキアの気配も少しづつ薄れていってる　本当に俺の力はきえるん だな）
Ichigo: (I can't sense the presence of spirits. Rukia's presence is fading. My power really is fading.)
ルキア　お別れだ　一護
Rukia: This is farewell, Ichigo.
一護　そうみてえだな
Ichigo: Looks like it.
ルキア　なんだ　そうさびしそうな顔をするな　貴様に私がみえなくなっても私からは貴様が見え ているのだぞ
Rukia: Hey, don't look so sad! Even if you can't see me I'll be able to see you!
一護　何だそれ　全然嬉しくねーよ　あとさびしそうなカオもしてねえ！
Ichigo: What? That's not something to be glad about! I won't even make a sad face later on!
消えてくるルキア
Rukia disappears.
一護　みんなに　よろしく伝えといてくれ
Ichigo: Give my regards to everyone.
ルキア　ああ
Rukia: Yes.
一護　じゃあな　ルキア　ありがとう
Ichigo: See ya later, Rukia. Thanks.

Looks like it'll be a long chapter this week. There won't be any new chapters for two weeks afterwards though. Spoilers have been up for awhile so tomorrow we'll probably get the chapter.

 

I think Aizen was set up to be a neutral character or something. Kubo tried making the readers feel sympathy for Aizen with Ichigo's thoughts over their fight. Aizen seemed to want to change things for the better in some way. Maybe the Soul King isn't such a good "guy". Then again, the Soul King is an "it" due to Aizen's and Urahara's conversation in one of the recent chapters. Ichigo will get powered up again sooner or later.

@Fayt: It's the Spirit King because Kubo says so. It wouldn't be cool or menacing if it was the Royal Spirit Thing. XD

 

By this time, Ichigo will have developed a man-crush for Aizen who would be Ichigo's new best friend. Chad, being the jealous Mexican he is, has been laying face-down long enough and is on a rampage as to demand for more character and power development which will lead to the ultimate battle of IchiAizen and Chad the Taco.
