Jesus, the sides are unbalanced. Anyway, everyone is officially accepted and in. I'm looking to start either tonight or tomorrow night after I get off of work. If you want to change your character's rank or side, you have until we start to do so. First post is updated completely. Keep in mind, guys, that you can only use actual Soul Reaper techniques. Don't come up with new stuff, including Kido, or anything like that without my permission.

5 at the moment. One of them was a half-semester course so I went from 6 to 5. Here, you need only 4 classes to be considered full-time. I usually try to take 5 or 6 a semester so I could graduate on time, but I'm extending my studies by another year so I can find an internship so after this semester, I'll only be taking 4 classes each semester.

I figured I'd make another Espada since there are so few.

Bio: When Ryunosuke first became a student in the Academy, the students looked down at him because of his inability to call on his Zanpakutou after his first two years. Because of this, he constantly got into fights to show that he is a capable fighter even without a Zanpakutou. His constant fighting earned him the reputation of a Battle-crazed Maniac. After he finally learned how to use his Zanpakutou, the fights began to stop, though they still happened every once in a while. When he finally graduated, he became a seated officer immediately in Squad 4. Over time, after a mission with the former captain of Squad 4 killing an Adjuchas class Menos Grande, Ryu discovered his Vizard powers. Afraid of what the others might think, the captain tried to kill him. However, in his attempt to kill him, Ryu ended up killing his own Captain. After that point, he decided to hide his Vizard powers no matter what. He told the others that he had killed the captain because he became a Vizard. Despite protests from the other seated officers, he was promoted to captain rank. 3 years after he became a captain, he discovered how to use his Bankai. Soon after, he had become known as the "Second Most Powerful Shinigami", though he knew this to be a lie. He hadn't become that powerful, at least, not in his mind. With his knowledge, he knew that he was stronger, due to his hidden Vizard powers. When the defections happened, he decided to defect with the others, revealing the truth of why he became a captain. With this revelation, he left his Squad behind and became an Espada.
Personality: Ryu has a powerful desire to fight. No matter what happens, even if someone close to him gets hurt, he wants to fight. He has a desire to find a decent challenge for himself. Because of that, he acts horribly to anybody he meets, saying that he does not care what someone can do. He believes that if you can fight, you're worth something.
Other: His mask adds two additional voices. The base voice is his own, the second voice is Shi's and the third belongs to Hakai. His ceros are black and red and fire off as a double-helix. Ryu fires his ceros from his hand.

Zanpakuto Name: Sougenmu [Twin Phantasm Dream]
Sealed Appearance: Sealed Form
Spirit Appearance: Shi [Death] and Hakai [Destruction]
Release Command: Bring death and destruction to the world!
Shikai Appearance: Shikai
Shikai Power: He can dash forward at a high speed and charge his blades with Spirit Energy and slashes with either one. This technique is called Rakan Dantojin [Arhat Severing Tower Blade].

He also has the ability to create a clone of himself and give him the other blade. That way, he can attack from two directions at once. This techniques is called Misogi [Purification]. He can still do Rakan Dantojin during this technique.

Another ability he has is to jump up and then drop down quickly and attack unexpectedly. This technique is Hyakkishu [Hundred Devil Attacks]. Can be used in conjunction with Misogi.
Bankai Name: Kyuukyoku Sougenmu [Ultimate Twin Phantasm Dream]
Bankai Appearance: Bankai
Bankai Power: During Bankai, he can increase his movement speed drastically. This is called Ashura Senku [Asura Flashing Sky].

He can combine the butts of his swords so that they form a giant Sword-Staff. He charges it with his own Spirit Energy and throws it. It creates a huge boomerang-like arc. This move is called Tenshou Kaireki Jin [Heaven Shocking Sea-Plowing Blade].

He gathers Spirit Energy into his sword and then he launches it. This move is called Meido Gohado [Dark Painful Great Surge]. Can be used in conjunction with Misogi.

This technique can only be used during Misogi. Ryu and his clone approach from opposite sides of his enemy and then clash blades on the enemy. This technique is called Tenchi Sokaigen [Heaven and Earth Twin Crushing Raise].
Hollow Mask: Here. With dark red and black marks instead.

 

No Heart-X, when I first heard of your character, I was honestly a bit miffed that you gave him the title of "Second Strongest" and that he earned Bankai after becoming Captain. But to be honest, I really love your character now that I read your form! Something about his abilities is pretty badass and makes a great Espada. Accepted and adding him to the first post now~

Guys, sorry I haven't been posting. I just started my Final Exams for the semester and, of course, I was the only one who didn't ask for this time of year so work has been swamping me as well. I'll be scarce or so for about another week, but then it's full on summer for me~ I'll still be posting, though, just not as much as I'd like (for this week, I mean)

 

Guys, sorry for taking so long to post. School and work had gotten to me. Anyway, posting now. Sorry the post was long, but I'm just trying to speed things up a bit. Everyone can just skip ahead to the mission brief room. Also, I'm about to update Sanosuke's profile with a new image and Zanpakuto to go along with his banner.

Bio: Hanzo had always been the villain in life from being a bully on the playground when he was a kid to stealing from stores as a teen. He allied with the Soul Society for a short while, finding their way of life too tame and lackluster. He joined Espada just to retain his status as an antagonist.
Personality: Hanzo is definitely brutal and calculating. From training his eyes when he was young he can see things at up to 200 frames per second. This allows him to analyze his environment and study people in short amounts of time. He seems to care little for anyone else’s well being but his own and loves to take fights to their extreme.

Release Command: Eat.
Shikai Appearance: Shikai
Shikai Power: The blade becomes toothed and starts to saw like a chainsaw or "eat" when it makes contact with another zanpakuto, while stealing spirit energy from Hanzo's opponent and adding onto his. However, the longer Hanzo fights with the sword in shikai state, the more his zanpakuto begins to drain him of his spirit energy. Which is why it has to be "fed". The blade can also be fed by making contact with living objects such as plants or the earth itself.

“Hitokuchi”- Meaning “bite”, Hitokuchi allows the zanpakuto to use the environment and launch projectiles of different elements it comes into contact with. For instance, when slashed along the ground spikes shoot up. Or when the sword is swung through flame, a fireball is shot. This all uses spirit energy, so depending on how much Hanzo has been doing, the projectile could be little more than an earthen molehill or a small spitfire.

Bio: It didn't take Takashi a long time for him to graduate the academy. This was his dream! to become the ideal shinigami. In the academy, he excelled in swordsman ship but due to his love for fighting, he never really decided to study which made him lack the book smarts. He was trying to figure out what squad he was going to join when one day, he stumbled onto the eleventh division brochure. This was the squad for him due to them mostly focusing on the combat melee aspects of being a shinigami.
Personality: Takashi is an optimistic fellow. Nothing can keep him down but it's weird because even when something looks impossible, he can look you right in the face and smile. He'll tell you that everything is gonna be fine! we can do it! He's also very stubborn. If he feels that what your telling him isn't the right way to go, he isn't going to do it but he knows his limits. Takashi knows how to listen to and not to listen to also.

Zanpakuto Name: Tsume Ryuu
Sealed Appearance (if nothing special, put "Normal Katana"): It's a reverse edged sword with a diamond hilt.
Spirit Appearance:
Release Command: Tear them apart!
Shikai Appearance: His zanpaktou starts to shrink and it the hilt wraps around his wrist while the blade starts wrapping around both of his hands. His hands would turn into red metallic gloves with large claws and two fireballs twirling around each wrist.
Shikai Power: He can shoot fireballs out of his gloves. His speed and power increases significantly.
