From my usual site which I again can't leak... I feel saddened. What are your thoughts? Also... I should add... ...Oh dear.
Oh so I see that it's really true now. I have much catching up to do then so I can know how it ends. This recent 'ending' news has struck up my curiosity on the manga. Is this just for the anime or is it the manga that will end before that if it hasn't already? It would be rather strange to have the anime end before the manga since it followed it, minus the fillers. And that film will kill Bleach forever for me. I pray that it bombs before it's ever seen. I had enough with Tite's constant trolls. This would be disastrous.
I believe the manga is coming to an end as well. The current arc came in Bleach 480 named "Final Arc - The Thousand Year Blood War" It saddens me a bit, but I get it. I'm hoping to see him getting with Orihime :]
As the article said, at the moment, purely the anime is going to end. I know what has been said about the manga being in the final arc, but we have no idea how that will last considering Tite Kubo himself has stated in the past that 'The Fullbring Arc' was only marking the halfway point of the Bleach story (and thus we can assume there is a lot more left), and that he believes he's got years left on it. His words from his very mouth apparently. (Can't be bothered to go and look for the source where I read he had said that... but yeah lol) That and he also has a bunch of spin off ideas and other things he wants to tie up in bonus sections.
Ah well if it's purely the anime, then I don't mind and I look forward to having more to read since I stopped watching the anime long ago /enteringhuecomundoarc Spin off? I suppose that's interesting enough to know about. @Noroz: Orihime? Why?
From what I heard before the FullBring Arc, this arc is the last and would last 2-3 years, but I can't confirm that for sure. Anyway, I would have been more excited for the film if it was a different director. I never understood how movie adaptation failures ruin series for people. The movie may suck, but the series won't be affected by it. Oh well, I hope more news appears soon.
Indeed... it's like with Dragonball and Avatar. The movie adaptations sucked (in my opinion at least, but I know I'm backed up by many others) but I still love both series. It's not that a move adaptation ruins the series, it's just it's a shame that they often end up being complete rubbish.
I think it's in its final arc, but the arc may be long, considering it's called the thousand year blood war. Orihime because she and Ichigo are way better than Rukia. Initially I actually wanted Rukia and Ichigo, but now, after considering it, Orihime is better.
You guys are actually right about the movies. But I still think it would be better left unmade. i don't want to spend my money to watch it. @Bueno (if I'm right): Oh? What director do you think would be good for the job then? I used to think Ichigo and Orihime should of been together from the very beginning but now I think Ichigo deserves no one. Orihime seems to love Ichigo for no reason and if there is one, I have yet to see it. Even when she was confessing her love for him before she left to go to Hueco Mundo, I saw no reason. But that's just me.
I know people are going to think Im crazy but I actually liked the anime. I didn't care for the fillers. They are more entertaining then the fillers in Naruto (in my opinion). I do agree it should have ended a long time ago but it's still kinda sad that it's going to be replaced with a Naruto spin-off.
I am completely and utterly being honest here; I don't know how I should feel about this. Part of me wants Bleach to end because I don't want it to lose what prestige it still has and then Kubo can just make a new Manga. I am unsure about this new and final arc too. It seems forced and out of place, much like the Fullbringing Arc. But I will wait and let Kubo-Sensei try to finish things up... If he ever does.
DAMN! I heard rumours of Bleach ending, but now it's true... Ugh... And hell no. I don't want a Bleach movie. Please oh please not a live-action adaptation, please...... EDIT: 400th POST
To tell the truth this is the first time I've heard of both the anime ending or that movie. I feel sad that the anime will end so far its almost like the manga besides the fillers. :( But I do feel the manga should have just ended when Aizen was defeated. I HOPE that the movie doesn't end up as bad as Dragon Ball or Avatar: the Last airbender.
So it's finally ended, but there is something interesting I wish to discuss instead of just the episode. There are rumours going around that Bleach is now no longer completely at an end, but is on a hiatus for 1 or 2 years. I honestly don't know if this is true or just wishful thinking of the fans, but regardless, the 'last' episode, otherwise to be referred to as 366 did have a lot of "This is not the end." and even ended on something akin to (depending on the subs you watched) "See you again." Albeit, this could just be the anime's way of saying 'life will go on, etc' but it depends how you want to interpret it. At any rate, while it's confirmed to be over judging from the news I posted in the first post, and this is definitely the last episode (for the meantime) We might perhaps see Bleach make a comeback. I honestly do not know. It's not the first time the anime industry has changed its mind about something like this, and it probably isn't the last. Either way, I'll be moving onto the manga in the meantime. If Bleach does indeed come back after a while. I'll certainly watch it again. If it doesn't, well.... meh, nothing I can do, and I've made my peace with the 'last' episode. As I said, there is always the manga instead. But yeah, those were the ramblings I wanted to ramble about. I know we can't put much stock in rumours, but I figured they were worth mentioning based on how things ended and knowing how Tite Kubo (and the industry in general) has been in the past. EDIT: http://www.mangareader.net/bleach/479/20 For those switching from the anime to the manga at this point. The above link is where about's the anime ended in the manga. Just so you don't have to go searching for where about's it is. lol
