"ALEX!!" he screamed. He was really angry now! He used his telekenisis to throw a small rock at Drake's hand, forcing him to drop her. Ultimare caught her with his telekenetic powers a floated her away from Drake. "Alex, get out of here! NOW!" he said, not wanting her harmed any more than she already had. To Drake, he said "This is between you and me now! Leave her out of this."

 

The smell was growing stronger.

The shepherd thought about what it meant that he wasn't alone. Since he had gained his powers-- since that night-- he hadn't ever looked at people the same way. They were all his enemies after that. But there were people who were different, like him. Maybe he could communicate with them, like they were human beings, not zombies.

The response seemed to come from nowhere. "Yeah right," said a sarcastic voice.

The shepherd's reverie was broken when he heard voices coming from somewhere not too far away.

 

She started caughing. When she was finished caughing she slowly stood up. " Thank you Ultimare..... but I won't go and I need to be the one who teaches him a lesson." She took off the ring. " Hey Drake!" She yelled at him. " You think you can speak to me?! You are a woman and have no right to speak to me!" He yelled at her. " You can have this back." She threw the ring at him, and it landed in front of him. He stared at it shocked. " You can't get out of this marrage!" He yelled. " Watch me!" she said with an attitude. Drake became angry, he tried to throw a rock at her head, but she ducked and in the blink of an eye she ran over to him and punched him in the gut. He fell to his knees. Standing over him she said, " Now who's the fool."

 

"Good shot!" said Ultimare. "Okay if you want to do this on your own, I won't interfere unless I absolutely have to." he said, dismissing his Keyblades and sitting down to watch.

 

She looked back at him, " Thanks." Then she focused her attention back on Drake who was still on the ground. Then he got to his feet, he was alot taller than Alex. " You know I could kill you for what you just did." He said staring down at her. " I don't care" she said meeting his stare. He took another swing at her cheek but she ducked again and this time kicked him in the chin so he flew back. " You are a waste of human flesh, and I'm not even sure if you are human." She said walking over to him. He wiped the blood that was dripping down his chin. " You are in for it now." He said getting up. " Ha... I'd like to see you try to hit me!" She said mocking him. He took a swing at her. But she dodged it. " Oops you missed me" she said smiling, knowing she was making him mad.

 

"Ha!" he thought, smiling, "She's just toying with him! This is gonna be good!"

 

They did this for a long time, and every time he swung at her she dodged it and then gave it right back at him. " Man this is starting to get old, I say we finish this!" She said to him. " I agree" He said getting up shakily, he was worn out. " Good now try to defend this!" She said running over to him with such speed that you couldn't even see her. She punched and kicked him at different angles, so fast that he could defend himself. He finaly fell to the ground unconsous. She stood there staring at him on the ground, breathing deep. Now she was worn out.

 

Ultimare got up and went over to her. "Good job!" he said, still smiling. He noticed she was worn out from that last attack. "We should probably get out of here before he wakes up. I can carry you on my back if you're too tired to walk."

 

" No I'm alright thank you though, but yeah we should get out of here" She said still staring at Drake.

 

"Alright." he said. "So, where do we go?"

 

" I guess it doesn't matter, just as long as it is away from here." She said.

 

"Okay, lets go!" he said, grabbing her hand as they started running. Suddenly it hit him! "She's not engaged anymore!" he said, almost whispering.

 

She ran along with him, she heard him whisper somthing, " You say something?" she asked.

 

He blushed "I can't beleive I said that out loud!" he thought to himself. "Um... Nope! Didn't say anything! Nope not me! Nuh-uh! No!" is what he told her.

 

She smiled, he was hiding something from her, but she didn't care.

 

"Phew! That was a close one!" he thought. Then, he accidentally tripped over a tree root. He fell and brought her down too. They started rolling down a hill. When they hit the bottom, he fell on his back and she fell on top of him.

 

She stared at him with kind soft eyes. And a soft smile.

 

He smiled too. Then, without thinking, he leaned towards her, closed his eyes, and kissed her!

 

She closed her eye's and kissed him back.

 

Then he realized what he was doing and broke off the kiss, blushing. "I-I'm sorry." he said softly, not looking at her.
