She took the bowl and put it back on the tray. " It's pretty dangerous here, with all these..... um people if that's what you want to call them." She said to him.

 

"Why?" he asked, "What's going on?"

 

" Well with the 'king' after us and everything." She said.

 

"Go on." he said.

 

" It's not safe anywhere near people he can control." She said.

 

"Right!" he said, remembering. "We should leave. Now." He got out of bed and started wobbling.

 

" Uh I don't think that's the best idea, especially in the condition you're in." She said helping him sit back down.

 

"Don't worry about me, we've got to get out of here." he said, getting up again. He wobbled once more and fell on his face.

 

" Ultimare! Are you ok?" She asked helping him up. She made him lay back down on the bed. " See you can't go anywhere."

 

"Leave me here." he whispered so low you could barely hear him.

 

She heard him. " Do you really think I would leave you here!?" She asked shocked.

 

He looked up at her. He was crying. "Just leave me here!" he said, "I don't want anything to happen to you! I'll only slow you down!"

 

" You've got to be crazy if you think I'm just going to leave you here." She said hugging him.

 

He hugged her back and said "I just don't want to see you get hurt. It breaks my heart when I see you in pain."

 

" We're going to get through the rest of it together, remember." She said still hugging him.

 

"I'm sorry." he said.

 

" It's ok, no need to be sorry. I know you're just trying to protect me but I'm going to be ok." She said to him.

 

"I really want to believe that." he said, still crying.

 

" There's nothing to worry about." She said.

 

"Nothing to worry about!?" he said. He showed her the vision again.
