He took two smaller leaves and put the fish on them. "Here." he said, giving her a leaf.

 

" Oh thank you." She said taking out two arrows, she handed one to Ultimare.

BIC: "You're welcome!" he said, taking the arrow.

 

She ate most of her fish then gave the rest to Todd. " I don't think you really need this." She said to Todd who was still rolled over on his back.

*sits down by a tree and starts thinking*

There are too many zombie people in this world!
But, their were 2 other people I saw that wasn't zombie like.
hmmm.......

 

Yeah, he's gonna need a LOT of exercise to work all THAT off!

 

She laughed. " Yeah."

 

"I wonder if he knows how to swim." he said, "Only one way to find out!" He went over and tried to pick Todd up, but he was too heavy!

 

" Here I'll help you." She got up and helped pick up Todd. " Wow you do need to lose some weight Todd."

 

They carried him to the little lake they found earlier. "Okay, on the count of three, we throw him in!" he said. "One!"

 

" Wait! Look." She said putting down Todd and staring into the lake. There were spirits swiming in it. " Who knows what could have happened to him if we had thrown him in now." She said still staring at all the spirits.

 

"Whoa! What are they?" he asked.

 

" They look like spirits that were never put to rest." She said staring at them. She saw something that made her feel sick to her stomach. " Th......that's my mom." She said staring at one of them.

 

"You're mom?" he asked, "I didn't know she was dead."

 

" I didn't either." She said feeling a tear run down her cheek. " Mom! MOM! OVER HERE, MOM!!!" She yelled. Her mom's spirit just kept swimming. Alex took off her boots ready to jump in after her, not relizing the danger she was in by jumping in.

 

He grabbed her shoulder and said "Don't, it's way too dangerous."

 

" I have to go and get her!" She said tears streaming down her face.

 

He pulled her back and held her tightly in his arms. "Listen," he said, "I'm sorry about your mom dying, but there's nothing you can do. It's too dangerous to go in there, you could get hurt and I won't let that happen!"

 

She cried into his shirt.

 

"It's okay." he said, rubbing her back with one hand, "Just let it all out."
