He blushed as he hugged her back and said "Yeah I did." Then he asked "I didn't wake you, did I?"

 

" No I wasn't asleep just resting." She said still hugging him.

 

"Anyways, I'm glad I was able to get that thing off of your arm" he said. Then he frowned and continued "even though it was my fault it went on you in the first place."

 

She let go of him, " How is it you're fault?" she asked.

 

"If I hadn't told you to wait, they wouldn't have taken you." he said, feeling the tears coming back. "And if they hadn't taken you, that device wouldn't have been put on your arm. So you see, it's all my fault!" He burst into tears again, continuously saying "All my fault! It's all my fault!"

 

" Don't say that, because it's not true. If it's anyone's fault it's mine for being taken, but it's not even close to being your fault. If it wasn't for you I'd still be there and I'd probably be dead." she said wiping the tears from his eye's again.

 

He put his arms around her and held her close to him. "I love you." he whispered.

 

" I love you too" she whispered back.

 

He smiled and held on tighter. "You're the first friend I've ever had." he said. He paused and said, blushing, "And my first girlfriend."

 

" Your first friend and girlfriend huh, well I'm sorry but I really can't say the same, I did have friends at one time and well I was engaged. I'm sorry. But you are the first person I have ever loved." she said in a whisper still.

 

"I am honored to be your first love" he said, giving her a kiss.

 

She smiled.

 

He smiled back at her.

 

Alex heard a small rustle in some bushes nearby. She looked over at them. Then walked over and peered inside. " Awwwwww" she said reaching in and pulling out a small little orange kitten. " Isn't he the cutest!?" she said cuddling it to her face.

 

"Yeah it is kinda cute, isn't it?" he said, looking at her and the kitten. "They look so adorable together." he thought, still smiling.

 

She carfully set it down and it walked next to her feet. " I don't think it has a home. And it looks a little bigger than normal kittens doesn't it" she said staring at it with her head tilted.

 

"Yeah. Now that you mention it, it does. Isn't that odd."

 

" Yeah see it looks more like a little fox or something....." she said picking it back up again.

 

Ultimare leaned in for a closer look. The little fox started licking his nose.

 

" Awww he likes you." she said smiling.
