Fandub Birth By Sleep: Fandub (TGS 2009) Audition Now

Hey Mike, quick question:

I'm trying to fix my recording problems. I think it's not just my computer mic, but Audacity that's giving me trouble. If I try a different recording program and fix my mic, could I resend you my audition?

EDIT: Nevermind, read the new post in which you say you'd be deciding upon, so, any idea when we'll know?

 

I'm making my decision today in a matter of a couple hours. The latest is tonight, so I suggest coming back to this thread soon. I've already picked the whole team, but I'm waiting on one more audition that is trying to be sent, but I'm not able to open it. If I don't get it before tonight, than I need to go ahead and announce the members who got the roles. By the way, we received NO auditions for the character of Doc. So, I'm a bit worried right now about that.

 

DOC DONE AND SENT!!! I decided what the hell, I will do it for giggles.





I would have tried for Doc but his voice is just frustrating to mimic, English and Japanese. I can try in a bit but, I am going out somewhere today so don't hold your breath.

You know what if you just give me like a couple hours, I can make one and send it in, I just don't know how long I will be out for since I am driving to Rosemond from Palmdale, California.

The auditions for the new video that's a part of the KINGDOM HEARTS Birth By Sleep production has once again shown a lot of success, but was also proven to be one of the videos with less auditions that I've seen. It's quite surprising since there's a lot of characters to audition for, but in the end the team has been chosen. Once again, the auditions that I received were well done by members of VAA and KHV. It's always enjoyable for me to hear other work from other fans from the community. It's also really cool to see that members have an interest to work on something that was small, which became a bigger production thanks to the viewers. The deadline was set for today, November 15th, where I had to cast many members for the roles of new characters/Disney related.

The one thing I don't enjoy is choosing because it hurts me to pick a couple and leave others without the roles. I'm going to ask you guys to understand the best way possible that it doesn't mean your audition was bad. In most cases it may just mean that you didn't fit the role, but that doesn't mean that you can't voice in other productions. My advice is to keep following your dreams and you'll get there. I myself am still trying to get into things that I've always dreamed about being part of. Anyway, the cast that I chose is listed below. Congratulations to everyone who has obtained a role. For those of you that auditioned, don't ever give up. If you guys want answers to why or why not you got the role, feel free to email me at cgnetproductions@aol.com. I would love to help out in any possible way. Also if you do have a question about your audition, please attach your audition with it, because my email box is a bit chaotic at this point. Ha, I'd have thought that doing the screaming would've been harder than actual lines. On another note, have the discrepancies with what Stitch says later in the video been sorted?

Second, you have to realize that at the time when Ven, Terra, and Aqua meet Stich his name wasn't Stich yet but expirement 626. Stich also didn't know any language really except his garbeled words, we are just lucky that Ven, Terra, and Aqua teach him a few things.

 

Yeah I know he was 626, Rubin being 625 etc, I've seen all four of the movies and some of the series xD I mean that Mike is unsure of what Stitch says in one section of the video and I wanted to know if we were any the clearer on that yet.

 

I'm not clear what it is, but I need you to say the same thing that you did on your audition. Now that I think about it, Ven may have said Wait, what!? and then screamed as he was falling in response to Stitch.

I am only doing this to cover my tail, I sent the email with the recording for Captain Hook. There are multiple attempts so you can choose which one you like the most and or cut and paste/mix up the laugh ect to the one you like the most. I emailed you this and I am posting this as well as going to pm you to let you know the email is sent to you.

 

Oh this looks like fun, but I'm not sure what character my voice would best be suited for as my voice sounds neither male of female its rather undefined I'd say because of it I'd only be useful for playing smaller childern, basically characters pre-puperty before the voice change begins. xD we'll I'll let you decide if you need a sample of my voice feel free to send me an e-mail at QueenYamiYugiMoto@hotmail.com (since I rarely physically log in to check my pms' here xD). Tsukune I know you have figured this out already but all the roles, except for one as I know of, as been casted for now. Although if Doc is still open you can always try out for that? Although you need to follow the format that Mike has given out on the first page of this thread and send your audition to him via la email.
