Fandub Birth by Sleep: English (Fan Commercial)

With the anticipating title KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep releasing in Japan on January 9th and the commercial that was shown today, the cast and I decided to get together today and release an English commercial for the new title. Translations were provided by Lissar from KHInsider. A new member known as TheVader74 (previously worked with me on our 358/2 Days production) has joined as the announcer (Ansem the Wise...or at least that's who we believe is talking in the commercial.

Once again, Terra is voiced by JetFire62, Aqua is voiced by Kissy-Sensei and Ventus is voiced by myself (Mike. M). We do hope you guys enjoy the short dubbed English video. We'll keep you guys informed on the latest. Thanks for taking interest.

I'm guessing it won't take long at all to do this, since there are only like 5 lines overall. Can't wait to hear it!

I do hope it is Ansem the Wise, my absolute favourite character of KH. He's a mad genius, no denying.

 

I have another question regarding your fandubs.

Why do you make the credits last longer than the dubitself?

 

Um...I don't know?
That's the credit video. If there's not enough text for the video, than the credit video will just show longer.

I don't think it was as good as the last, it would have been better with louder music.

I hope you all realize that this is most likely the last trailer going to be released before the game comes out. Also, for those gripping about the little things such as sound and credits, this trailer is extremely short and it is really hard to actually doing anything with something this short. (You can only edit this so much)

Hope the US commercial is as epic...
if not, it's alright, the game will still be as awesome, looks like a big step up for the "in between games", which is a good thing I'm hoping :P

 

What was your opinion on this fan commercial?

 

It was very good as a fan dubbing, the people chosen to do the fan voicing were good choices. :D

I think that the song playing in the background could be a little louder when the dubbers or the original voices aren't saying anything, still sounds pretty good in all.

As for the dub, I thought it was creative and really cool :)

 

Awesome job once again. This game is going to be amazing.

 

When the game comes out i'll think its strange since i'm used to these voices.
