Biohazard (Remake)

As the officer left, Jayne thought about what it must be like in Safehaven, never having to worry about getting the virus, never having to worry about eating the food someone else had handled, never having to worry about wearing a surgical mask to keep from breathing the same air. She didn't have the virus, what would life be like in the glass dome? Would it be the same that it had been before the virus had come? She didn't remember life before the virus, but her mom and dad had talked about it before. You could go for a walk without having to worry about breathing infected air. You could talk to people you met on the street without having to worry about them getting you sick. You could go to a resteraunt and not have to worry about the water being bad. Was it like that in Safehaven? She almost wished she could go. She shook her head, ttrying to get rid of the thought. She would never get the chance, she should just accept it now and move on. Still, she couldn't help but wonder. She looked around at all the people she had met, most of them were going to die. The captain had said no luck on a cure, how many hopes had he just crushed? She looked at Mya especially. She was a nice girl, she took care of the people she met. And she was dying. Painfully. No luck for a cure, the captain had said. Mya might not have long, she might not live to see the cure. It made Jayne mad, all those scientists in the dome, taking their sweet time about finding a cure, while good people were out here dying in horrible ways. She remebered her mother's last days, and her father's. No one deserved to die like that. Note to self: If I ever get into Safehaven, I'm gonna beat up all the scientist and force feed them the virus. Maybe THEN they'll find a cure.

 

Once the officers were gone, Ren thought about how his sister was doing in the lockdown. Odd are she was wondering how he was doing or just worrying for his safety like the older sister she way. Either way he had a promise to keep and nothing was going to stop him.

 

OOC: It's Mya, not Myra BTW :/

BIC: Mya looked back at the others and forced a smile. Well let's go grab some supplies shall we? She walked over to a cabinet and opened it up, revealing a hefty amount of firearms and sharp weapons. According to my map, there are some abandoned markets on the east side of the slums. There will be lots of food there. Don't think the Raiders reached there yet. She grabbed a few guns and slid them into her holsters.

 

OOC: Oh, sorry, I edited the post. XP

IC: Jayne stood up and checked her pocket for her gun and her knife. They both were still there, she was good. She hoped Mya was right and there weren't many raiders where they were going, but it was always good to be on the safe side.

 

OOC: Gonna wait till the others post.

 

Once Ren had check to see if he had his gun on him, he went back to the room he'd slept in and grabbed his sword. Hopefully he wouldn't have to use his gun, since he still wasn't that skilled with it. But it did pay off to have a backup weapon on hand.

 

OOC: Seems like a lot of people left this RP. Not too sure if I want to continue on with this RP. I'll ask for your opinions.

 

I think that the storyline was good, and I would have liked to play through to the end, I'm interested in the plot, but I do think it's pretty much dead, and I think it's time to let this one go. A shame, really. It had the potential to be really cool.

Well, time to move onto another RP. I'm probably going to make a Skyrim RP.
