Biohazard (Remake)

Danni, still hidden in the shadows, actually laughed before shouting out to the newcomer, "You're aiming at the wrong person, silly." She did not want the wrong person to be shot and from what he'd said, he appeared to be on their side. She then looked at the remaining two raiders and spoke to them, her voice appearing to come from everywhere at once, "Word of advice for you two scum, three of your men are dead and we all can kill you without much effort too, so I'd suggest you run. Run and don't stop to look back." She smiled as she said this and watched their reactions, still she did not reveal herself, she wasn't sure quite why but she felt safer when they didn't know where she was. She felt quite confident but she hadn't realised that she was capible of being that intimidating and she wasn't sure if being able to do that was a good thing. However she realised, if she made friends with all these people who clearly could take care of themselves, then she would be in a much stronger position than before.

 

Xavier was startled by the sudden voice, but realized how wrong he was indeed. Lowering his gun, he watched the REAL raiders run away like cowards, then he spoke timidly. "Well...whoever you are...good teamwork there..."
Surely my gun must've helped a little in scaring them away? he thought, not wanting to feel completely useless.

 

"No problem," Jayne said to the girl. She turned to watch the remaining two raiders run away, apparently, whoever they had run into was plenty capable enough to take care of themselves. "I'm Jayne," she said to the girl. Now that she was able to support herself, Jayne let go and backed up a little, not far away enough or fast enough to be rude, but the girl had the Virus, after all. She looked down at her gloved hands and long-sleeved coat, glad that she hadn't touched the girl with her bare hands. Then she looked up at all the people that had come to the rescue. "It's a good thing so many people showed up, there was no way I could have handled those guys alone." She saw the latecomer standing a few feet away. He looked nervous, like he thought she would bite him for not coming sooner. She didn't know why, but she felt a little sorry for him. Well, she felt a little sorry for everyone right now, what with everything going on. But this boy seemed different, as if he wasn't completely used to this life. She couldn't blame him, she had been living like this for a year and still couldn't believe it sometimes herself. You never got used to life like this. She thought of her parents, of how they hadn't been able to get used to things... No, she couldn't afford to feel sorry for herself. There were more important things to worry about. "We're not safe here," she said. "We need to move on before more raiders notice the smoke and come looking for trouble. Not that we can't handle 'em, but I really don't want to waste all my strength and ammo on a bunch of losers."

 

OOC: Considering a building has just collapsed, shouldnt there be a lot of smoke and debree everywhere? I don't think our characters are quite safe in their current position lol

Xavier looked at the mysterious girl in all black, and nodded in agreement. The smoke grew darker and larger every second, and he knew that even with the raiders gone, their lives were still in danger.
"She's right, we all need to get out of here." Xavier said, putting his gun back in the inside pocket of his jacket. "However, I'm not very familiar with this part of the Slums. Anyone care to lead the way?"

 

Mya coughed up a bit of blood before answering them. I know the way around here. A group of refugees made a secret camp in this area. I just hope they'll accept you in. Our supplies are dangerously low. That mall had a lot of supplies in it before it collapsed. She wiped her mouth. Let's get moving before we inhale all of this smoke.

 

A girl watched the group of people from a short distance, squinting through the smoke to see if she could recognise anyone there. They seemed to be communicating, but she couldn't make out what they were saying because of how far away she was from them. "I wonder if they need any help..." She sighed softly, fumbling around with the first aid kit she held in her hands. Suddenly, a dark figure with shining silver hair emerged from the darkness, slyly making their way towards the group. "Oh no!" She yelped, sticking away her first aid kit and drawing out her sword, scared for the group's safety. Taking action, she jumped down from the rooftop she was on and rushed at the figure waving her sword like a madman.

Krill turned as he heard the girl rushing towards him, and effortlessly swung a grappling kick at her as she came close. Then, equally as effortlessly, he flung her at the group. "I call a strike." He said sarcastically, brushing his hands off and continuing towards the group as the girl vanished in the smoke.

 

"What the hell?" Xavier said in confusion as he knelt down next to the girl who seemed as though she had fallen out of the sky. "Are you alright?"
Then, through the smoke he saw a dark figure with shining silver hair, it was walking towards them, getting closer and closer. Whoever it was, they definitely didn't seem friendly. So although he could barely see anything, Xavier pulled out his gun again, hoping maybe he'd actually be able to use it this time.
"GET BACK!" he yelled at the mysterious figure. "ARE YOU ARMED?"

 

Great, what now. Ren thought seeing the girl fall out of nowhere. Before he could say anything, he noticed somebody walking towards them. Slowly moving his hand on the handle of his sword, he waited to see if he was a threat or not

 

Jayne turned when the boy yelled and saw the man with the silver hair approach them. She also pulled her gun and focused it on the man, but she left the talking to the boy. Wow, this day could not GET any crazier.

Bio: Tracy’s mother and father were both infected when Tracy was seven. For his own protection, Tracy’s mom and dad left him to himself. They knew that Tracy would come looking for them, to be with them before they died, so they made it seem like they had gone to live in the safehaven. Tracy traveled on his own, taking no chances of getting infected and keeping to himself. But then he met Ever.
Other (optional): He is very introverted and rarely talks to people, but when he gets to know people he gets really talkative. It’s very easy to make Tracy blush.

Bio: She lived in the safe heaven her whole life. But she had always wanted to see the outside world. When she was seventeen she managed to sneak out and see what things were like, but then she couldn’t get back in. Almost immediately Ever ran into Tracy. They became an unofficial couple. But after only one peaceful month, everything turned sour. Tracy was infected and suddenly, Ever and Tracy never touched and Ever lived in fear of the day that Tracy died.

The girl looked up groggily and groaned, rubbing her backside to null some of the pain. "Ugh, yeah...I'm okay." She reached for her sword and rose unsteadily to her feet, trying to glare at the figure that assaulted her without making a stupid face.

Krill smirked slightly as he walked further into the smoke, noticing the group had their weapons trained on him. "I would watch where you're pointing those toys of yours." He scoffed, cracking his knuckles. "You might hurt somebody." Suddenly, he removed his hidden blade from his sleeve and wiped it clean, though what the others saw behind the smoke was unclear.

 

Xavier saw the figure in the smoke move its arms around as though it were grabbing something. An object revealed itself in their hand and shined. A weapon... Xavier thought. Looks like some kind of sword or something. Just wish there wasn't so much damn smoke so I could see!
"Sorry buddy," he said with a chuckle. "Looks like you brought a knife to a gun fight."
Xavier fired two rounds into the air to show he was loaded, then locked his eyes and aimed on the approaching man. He knew this had to be done quick, or they would all suffocate from the smoke.

 

Danni had waited to judge what was going on before slipping out of the shadows, with her jet black hair on her pale skin and her bow on her back, she was a sight to be reckoned with but as it happened the others attentions were elsewhere. She listened carefully as the others spoke, she liked them and she figured it would be a good idea to stick around with them, much safer than being on her own. She silently collected her arrow, she was not short of arrows now but there wasn't many trees round there to make new ones and if she kept finding need to use them, it was worth keeping them. Plus it was one of the reasons she prefered her bow, she could reuse arrows but it would be difficult to reuse bullets. Although as she heard the boy shout and the saw the figure appear she whipped out her bow, an arrow at the ready. However, it didn't stay up long as she lowered it as soon as she heard the figure speak and become clearer. It was the guy she'd seen from earlier, "Oh, it's you" She said as if she knew him though what he was doing with his knife did concern her a little.

 

Keeping her gun trained on the stranger, Jayne watched as he drew his sword. For some reason, she didn't feel like he was a threat. Focus, girl! You're going crazy! He's got a knife, of course he's a threat! The other guy with the gun fired two rounds in the air, as a warning to the stranger. She decided to wait, and see what played out.

 

Mya saw the events unfold in front of her. First some raiders attacked her now some strange person is attacking them. She pulled out her handgun and aimed it him, waiting after he fired two rounds in the air.

 

Krill grinned as a guy fired his gun as away to intimidate him. "Hahahah." He laughed, pretending to shed a tear, "Is that supposed to scare me?! How pathetic!" He began to pointing his blade at the guy, but a girl's voice stopped him from doing so. He turned to look at who spoke, sticking away his blade as he finished cleaning it. "Ah. Seems someone seems to know me. Now then darling, mind telling your friends what I did to help?"

 

Danni frowned, she was liking this guy less and less but he had put his weapon away and it would be better to have him on their side than fight against him. Although, first she had a point to make. "If you call me darling again, I will shoot you regardless of which side you are on, got it?" She paused before slowly and slightly reluctantly adding, "But there has been enough bloodshed already. He helped get rid of the raiders, killing one of them. I think he is on our side, I would much rather him an ally than an enemy." She shook her head slowly, he was not doing much to back up what she said and just hoped she wasn't making some huge mistake. She still had her bow in hand with a arrow notched, she wasn't aiming it but she could do that at a moment's notice, she did not want them to all lower their guard and him to suddenly attack. She stared at him, waiting for his next move, just hoping she had made the right choice and he was worth it. She didn't even know why she was protecting him, for the second time today, but she figured someone had to or they would be fighting the wrong person.

 

"Oooh feisty aren't we?" Krill sneered at Danni, brushing his silver hair out of his eyes. "But yes, our little amazoness here is right, I helped you out." He looked over at the girl who tried to attack him. "You seem familiar, with the way you tried to attack me, swinging your little sword everywhere but on target." He picked something up off the ground and began to fiddle with it. "What do you go by?" The tone in which the question came out was a bit creepier than he wanted it to be, but he decided it would be fun to listen to the girls reaction. "Come on now, I don't have all day y'know."

Eyes wide with fright, the girl dropped her stance of battle and pushed her pink hair back nervously, unsure if she should tell him or not. "My name?....it's um....Kanonno..." She stepped back shyly, moving behind Xavier for protection in case the man did anything funny. That voice is familiar she thought to herself as the man picked up what looked to be a box of some kind. But...where have I heard it before....?
