These are the hideous children of my uncreative and bored mind.

    V1.[IMG]

    V2.[IMG]

    V3.[IMG]

    V4. [IMG]

Is it just me or do they look very empty?
And there is that annoying colouration problem with the render when it gets to her hair, I have no idea what it is but it bugs me, a lot.

    Bleh. Nothing too special.
Oh well, CnC if you wish.

I personally like V4. the most. Really like the colors being used, but whatever you put over the girl looks...weird, like slime or something. The light on the left looks a little too sharp, as I can see some burning going on. I want to say try sharpening the stock a little, and maybe add some C4D renders to fill in some of the emptiness. Nice sense of flow though.

    Thanks ^_^

I never put anything over Homura, if you mean those discoloured blobs on her hair. Those were on the render to begin with.
Yeah, looking at it now, it does need to be sharpened. It looks fine in Photshop, but then it looks blurry in PNG *sigh*
And I did try to add some CD4s in, but I couldn't make them look right. They just looked awfully out of place. If there's one thing I still can't do in graphic art it's using C4Ds properly :/

I personally like V4 the most. The brightness of it is pleasant to look at, however it does feel empty. Did you try playing around with effects? I dislike the text, too. I almost always dislike plain text, though. I like it when there's effects to text and just not the simple word(s) in a boring font. Be creative! Play around with effects and such next time.

    Nice job.

C4D's are a tricky thing. I honestly still struggle with them, and just try to make my graphics look as good as possible in my eyes. For this particular sig, I'd say to look for a bright, sharp C4D, bright purple or pinkish if possible, and place it behind your stock, and then another, similar C4D in front of your stock. Erase bits of both renders, so that they add to the flow, which to me seems to go from the bottom center to the top right.

Also, maybe try a few gradients, and play with the effect styles to add a bit more vibrancy to the colors present.

When I use Photoshop, I don't tend to use effects other than gradient maps, mainly because Photoshop still gives me a headache and I'm more used to GIMP than anything else. Also, regarding the text, I might have been able to make it look a bit more interesting had I done the sig in GIMP, because that's where I have a lot of custom fonts that I've downloaded, and I have no clue whether I can do the same for Photoshop Elements.
And it probably doesn't help that I'm out of practice at this.

V4. has two gradients on it, although there's not much of a difference between the first gradient and second gradient I used. I think the second one just makes the colours sharper.

    Thanks, again xD

I like v.3 the most, since she stands out more, and it doesn't seem empty at all, tbh it looks like part of an opening, the ones where they show the characters name.

Feenie! Great work, you have improved immensely and I think V4 is my favourite. I think the placement is good, the colours work well as they are so bright and you have produced a nice flow.

Photoshop is more complex than GIMP but once you have played around with it a bit then it'll make sense and not give you headaches. Tutorials are a great way of helping you learn as well, although I do like the effects you have going on but it'll help broaden your skills.

Personally, I don't think that it's "too empty". If you have too much stuff going on, it takes away from the stock (that's something I had to learn the hard way a while back). I think you've got just enough going on, but it's ultimately your call.

I like V2 and V4 because they just seem to have more color. One and four seem a bit, I don't know, bland when it comes to contrast. Overall, it's nice. I like it~

Heh, you think so? I guess I can see where you're coming from with that xD
    Thanks~
    Aw, thank you Enzy~

Yeah, tutorials do help, I just can't find many good ones. Lately there has been only one tutorial I've found that seems to have worked decently well with what I try to do xD In all honestly I might be over using it, but oh well.
Mm. It might just be the burning I did at the corners that makes me think they're empty. And yeah I know what you mean with too many effects, I've done a few sigs like that in the past :p

I agree that 1 & 3 are a bit bland, but hey, that's what gradients are for.

Thanks for your feedback guys, I really appreciate it!
