That is more specific. It would, but not in this case. Witness testimony is what she has. It will take more than that to make her claim look bad. Meh...

All I can really offer is, if your friend is REALLY LEGITLY your friend, she'll believe you.

    That's what I've been saying, it's just a shame she didn't.

I don't know what to do then... I can't confront her cuz she's like a frikin' ninja always disappearing, and denying it isn't really working out cuz it's like more people know everyday. I'm stumped. Yeah I can ignore it, but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, ya kno?

Things such as this do tend to hurt, sometimes for very long times. The only thing you can be absolutely sure of though is this; it won't hurt forever, no matter what happens. Losing friends, or at least people you thought were friends, is never easy, but things happen, situations change, and it's not always salvagable, but things will always get better for you personally. Most likely this is the worst advice you'll recieve, but just hang in there.

If L avoids you and refuses to speak to you about it, then just drop it. Forget about her and worry about J and A(since she seems to continue speaking with you). If you know you did absolutely nothing, then ignore these rumors. I agree with DarkTraitor. Things happen, whether it's for the best or for the worst. People come in and out of your life, and those that betray you in such a way like this don't deserve your time.

If, however, you really do want to continue persisting on this, then possibly confront her at home if you know where she lives. She can't escape if she's in her own house. But in my opinion, I really do think you should just forget about her.

More, I might confront her parents. Tell them what has happened. Vindictive of me...

Only if I were sure of it. If you do not think that you manipulate the situation, then I would not try it.
