Best VG Couples

Yes I love video games with romance in them. I'm pretty sure someone already posted this, but whatever. I wanna know what you peoples out there are the best couples! I personally Sora x Kairi don't count since the haven't kissed yet (WHY GOD WHY???). Just saying I for those S x K fans out there. I narrowed my couples down to the top 2.

Tidus x Yuna are my Second favorite couple. I loved FFX just for the Romance they placed in it (FFXIII was BLEAUGH. Snow x Serah = WHATISTHISIDONTEVEN). And the ending brought me to tears (well almost). THANK GOD FOR X-2!

Marta x Emil (see my sig) are my best couples. I mean COME ON. They're so adorable and at the end, I actually cried (sorry not spoiling it). Yes I know the second wasn't as great as the first, but I just loved those two! >w<

Assuming Visual Novels count, I'm gonna put down Beatrice and Battler. They're perfect for each other.

Actually, on reconsideration, their relationship is a train wreck like none other. I'll go for something safer.

Lambdadelta and Bernkastel. That's a safe ship.

 

A good computer game couple I think is Soki and Ohatsu from Onimusha Dawn of Dreams they make a cute couple sad ending though which I refuse to ruin lol

 

This thread made me realize I play to much RPG's.

AmmyxOki. I don't even care if its not canon. I LOVE THIS COUPLE.
SoraxKairi. I feel like the couple is very genuine. When you see them together you can actually feel that they have been great friends since childhood. Its just a very innocent relationship.
FemShepxThanexGarrus (no. not a threesome or a love triangle I just like Thane and Garrus). C'MON. Garrus and Thane are awesome. BUT THE PRIIIZEE.

If you've played Onimusha 2 you'd of known that Jubei and Oyu are a hell of a better couple with another bittersweet ending.

And who's to say it's not canon? Oki definitely has a soft spot for Ammy, especially after his revelation after the battle with Lechku and Nechku. And he said something to the effect of missing her before she went on the Ark.
Granted this could be more discussed if Ammy could talk, lol.

Anyway. My ultimate favorite is probably CloudxTifa. The dynamic between them is amazing, and after reading Case of Tifa it was just reinforced. Plus they are two of the more "real" characters I've seen in many games, and despite the lack of voice acting emotions came across very well. Not to mention the infamous "night under the Highwind" scene. xD
There's a lot more about their relationship I love but I won't rant about that here. 8D

So, TidusxYuna were a romantic/cute couple. A very sad couple, but still cute.
I liked SnowxSerah, it was sweet.
LightingxHope is a no for me. I always saw it as a mother/child kind of thing going on.

Allow me to second both of these. Also, oi, Battler and Beato's relationship being a trainwreck is exactly what makes them so awesome together. They are so perfect for each other they can't generally stand to be in the same room without killing each other literally.

Other than that,

SoraxNamine - I know, I know! xD I also like SoraxKairi, don't get me wrong, but there's a sort of tragic dynamic here that I can't help but appreciate.
Guybrush and Elaine (Monkey Island) - Well... yeah. They balance each other out.
I'm neutral about the whole KeiichixMion and KeiichixRena debacle from the Higurashi VNs. I think they would both work.

Oh yeah. I also like the pairing of Saya and Fuminori from Saya no Uta. It's an alliance formed out of despair for both of them. Really, it'd be no exaggeration to say that they're the most suited to each other in the entire world.

One can't forget the determination with which they stick to each other. When Saya is ultimately killed, Fuminori immediately kills himself, and it's not overreacting in the slightest. In his situation, any sane person would do the same. (Depending on definition of 'sane'.)

Ignoring FF and KH, I'll go with DartxShana and AlbertxEmille from Legend of Dragoon were both pretty cute.

 

I personally thought Sophia and Fayt where a couple. Then again, I assume there are thousands of insane girls who would tell me Albel x Fayt is the "real" couple.
But to go along with Star Ocean 3 I also thought Cliff and Mirage where a couple.

 

I thought Red's love interest was supposed to be Yellow?
