    I thought it was just bad, poorly done in every way. They didn't need to change the direction they were going. Hell if they ended the anime at the end of the first half, I would be more than satisfied.

    More like the first quarter. It got bad as soon as they started rushing the romance side of the story.

    Hell, I don't even think the first half was that good. It was alright, still had huge flaws in my opinion, but I enjoyed some stuff that went on. And it straight up baffles me when anyone says the second half is not terrible (which I did have to be forced to finish.)

    So what you've heard is, at least in my opinion, pretty accurate.

    The first half was good, promising, etc. If you only acknowledge the first half and not the second, it is pretty epic. I don't see why I should let the second half ruin it.
