Best test question and answers you've ever had....

Well it wasn't a stupid question but I've heard of many stupid answers xD For example, my sister was doing an exam (I don't know what the question was) but she didn't know the answer, so she wrote a long speech about how only Smarties know the answer and sadly, they cannot talk.

 

Here's one from my Precalc test today.
Evaluate πe
A: 8.54
B: 3.14e
C: Pie
D: All of the above

I chose D. xD

 

.. Seriously? xD

 

Ya. Srsly.

 

I'm curious as to how that turns out. although B and C are true, A is the only one that is truly evaluating it.

 

My philosophy midterm.
I answered "God" for at least 4 questions and got a 99.

 

Philosophy class last semester I was notorious for writing the shortest essays in class (many being only a paragraph when he gave us ten pages to write with) and yet set the curve on some of them, and when I didn't I was still close.

 

I had to write an on-the-spot essay, where the prompt was "If you could hang out with any person, real or fictional, for one day, what would you do?"

I wrote about having a date with Konata Izumi from Lucky Star.

I think I got an "A".

You mean to tell me that every exam you've done has been short answer format? (Which come to think of it is an ironic name because aside from a full essay it is one of the longer answering formats)

 

Well the ones that have me pass the test are nice.

 

That, or a full essay, yes.

Occasionally we may be asked to fill in a table, or draw/label a diagram, but apart from that, it's always short answer. In mathematics, we do not select the answer from multichoice; we write it in.

 

What is the student-teacher ratio over there? I mean the whole point of a lot of the other exam styles is that they are very fast and easy to grade in comparison. I've helped my Mom grade some multiple choice tests and even those got to be a bit of a pain.

She works at a special ed school, they were hit really hard by "no child left behind" The scantron was considered a luxary and they stopped doing any mateneince, I;m not sure if those machines are unstable or if it was just bad luck but the scantron machine just a few months after they made that call. So yeah.

 

Well in my school, for the mainstream subjects, it's usually 25:1. The teachers look for keywords and such. For example, the marking schedule for the science papers has the Excellence-level questions summarised into a few lines, but for a student, it'd be reasonable to write a good page or so on those.
