What is up with the nominees this year? There aren't a lot per category and I distinctly remember it previously going beyond 15 members. I'm asking because the person I nominated isn't here and yet there are only 7 to choose from. What gives?
I did miss someone, and I'm terribly sorry about that. They're being added to the poll now. Honestly, there weren't nearly as many noms in certain categories as I thought there'd be. But honestly, it all depends on who nominated in the first place. From what I saw, a lot of people only chose one person per category, and even then there were a lot of repeats. It's not my fault. ;-;
This isn't the first thread that I've noticed it though.. and I see that you'd added Te Deum, but he wasn't the guy I was talking about :x It kinda seems like the nominees haven't been compiled fully this year.
I only took general noms so I can't confirm anything as far as these threads go, but I posted what I had in the lists.
I'll check in with the person who collected them for this cycle. Everyone had waited to hand in their nomination results until after nominations had closed, so I doubt that there's an abundance missing, but it is still a concern. If you someone you nominated for a category has not shown up in the poll*, please do let me know, and apologies for any mix-ups. * Of course, some nominees were removed from certain categories due to not fitting the criteria (e.g. people were taken of Best Newbie since they were here/a member longer than this year, people who are not a Coder nominated for Best Coder, and so on)
You were in the group of people in both of those examples, though there were about 3-4 other people that also got nominated in them that didn't meet the criteria, lol.

To be fair, he has been here for longer. I got here just as the awards started back up. Even if he is better, this was to be expected to a certain extent.
