Cycle One: "Most" Nominations Cycle Two: Writing, Video Editing, Art Nominations; Roleplaying Nominations Cycle Three: Best/Worst Nominations Cycle Four: General Nominations Walk on Wind by Ars Nova Mandelbrots-Limit by What?
I went with Nova because while Ashwin's was quite the literary masterpiece, my own personal taste got in the way of completely enjoying his work. I was able to delve into Nova's realm of dragons and kingdoms and princesses. It was more difficult to make my way into Ashwin's world of birds and limits and offerings. Before anybody says anything, I read Ashwin's work completely (though I had to fight to keep my attention about halfway through). I would like to clarify that it is not because I deem Ashwin's work lesser that I voted for Nova, it is because I was not able to understand his work as well. I was thoroughly confused throughout the majority of the story, not because of the word usage (though I got stuck a time or two) but because of the style. I could best describe the story as a dream. The ideals and structure were, admittedly, too complex for me to grasp. I enjoyed both pieces. Ashwin's because it's a literary masterpiece. I feel like reading it alone boosted my IQ by at least ... a lot. Nova's because it was a sweet story and I could relate to that feeling of wanting freedom. That ending was just the cutest thing. You're both very talented writers. I loved both of your works. Good luck to the both of you. -Nights
