Wow, I find the lack of diversity in this thread to be somewhat dissapointing. Especially the lack of support for games that my beloved Amano did. Final Fantasy VII wasn't that great, guys. Seriously. I mean come on:

I most certainly beg to differ. Sephiroth is hardly a threat compared to the Final Fantasy VI villian, Kefka, who was an evil, misanthropic, nihilistic, psychotic clown.

The man started out as a lackey, completely insane. He'd burn down towns, poison water supplies at the cost of his own men that were taken prisoner, he had no feelings for any life but his own. The man saw power and jumped at it, killing his Emperor, one of his Emperor's finest generals, seized power, and became a god. He tore apart the world, shattered landmasses, and raised trenches from the sea. He then created his tower, and sat upon it, smiting those who didn't worship him as a god with the might of his Light of Judgment. Even his villianous banter is catchy.

    Take that Sephiroth!

But yeah, FFVI has a wonderful story (which isn't lost in endless plot twists), memorable characters, great music, and a villian who actually suceeds in his goals for the most part. :)

I love the story lines in ff games but by far it would have to be ff7 coz it has so many twists and turns in the plot which made me a ff fanatic. ff8 has the best battle system. ff9 has the most happiest ending. ff10 is the easiest game to complete. Although i would have to say ff10-2 was completely rubbish coz it was completely girly. Why should we pay for ff11, what is the point? ff12 has loads more freedom to it. what do u think of my summery?
