    What's your best Final Fantasy?VOTE!
    And say why.

Like you vote FF1," Cuz it started the series."

I'm only gonna put the ones that were on consoles. And I didn't put FF3.

I voted FF6 Cuz it's a timeless clasic and always will be.

Edit:lol,"Dirge of Cerberus" came out wrong. I accidently put a smily.
    I put ":Dirge...."
When it should have been " : Dirge..."

    Final Fantasy VII.
Really, out of all the Final Fantasy's i've played this is one game is just the best to me, and with a story line to just make it even better. (Sure, some things don't make sense here and there, but it's just the kind of game that makes you want to find out more and more, at least to me.)

Not to mention that the best "villain" character was born there, and the memorable ones. =P

Kinda am disappointed at the graphics though, but eh, it is a "classic."

I'm both a sucker for FFVII and FFX. But I picked FFVII because no one can surpass the legacy of Sephiroth.

FFX it's got to be :D true the others are also kickass but Blitzball rocks (yay blitzball)! Plus it has one of the most difficult boss battles I have ever had to fight ever!

I picked Final Fantasy X. And I have several reasons why

    Story Line

The story line for FFX is the best story line for any rpg I've ever seen. Bar none. there's no need to elaborate any further than that

    Characters

The characters were sooo cool on FFX. And so different from eachother that it made every moment with them interesting. You CAN'T deny the coolness of Auron. He was just awesome (whether he's cooler than cloud is debatable, but I think so). Tidus changed so much throughout the game. Square Enix thought it was so important to note his change that the person they had do his voice had to change his vocie as the game progessed. His voice went from really high at the beggining to much deeper by the end. He also was much less energetic and kid-like.

    the Main Antagonist

I know what you're thinking... how can the main antagonist beat Sephiroth?? Sephiroth WAS much cooler than Seymour. There's no debating that. Seymour, however, was what a main antagonist SHOULD be. From the moment you saw him you KNEW something about him made you not like him. By the time you fought Seymour Flux (the Seymour on Mt. Gagazet), you HATED him with a passion. He killed his OWN FATHER to become a leader, and then tried to use that power to kill everyone else. He influenced other people that what he was doing was right. He had a whole race of people against you. He got you thrown into jail and almost killed for trying to stop his evilness. THAT's an antagonist. Sephiroth was a villian, but he wasn't as evil as Seymour. He didn't decieve so many people. You definitely never hated him (except for maybe a little while when he killed Aeris).

    Mini Games + Side Quests

This category is a given. Blitzball is by FAR the best mini game in ANY RPG I've ever seen. Plus you've got monster hunting, monster arena, chocobo racing, ultimate weapons, secret Aeons... the list goes on and on. There was SOOO much to do away from the story. Then you had places like The Omega Ruins and Baaj Temple. Places away from the story that challenged you and gave you HARD bosses to fight. The mini games and side quests in this game easily double your play time.

    Battle System

The battle system in this game is very creative. It's a combination of old school mixed with new school. I really liked it. The battle system used in FFXI and FFXII was supposed to be used in FFX, but because of time constraints, they had to leave it out. They compensated by altering the Aoens system and including Rikku's Mix overdrive, however.

    Inovative

FFX is the first Final Fantasy to EVER feature real life-looking characters. The characters in FFVII (or any FF before X) didn't look real. You could tell they were people, but you'd NEVER find a person who looked like that. The graphics for this game were also AMAZING!!! I'm STILL trying to decide if I like those or the graphics for FFXII better. They were so beautiful. The cutscenes were amazing too. The scene with Tidus and yuna at Lake Macalania, Operation Mi'ihen, I could go forever. This was also the first Final Fantasy on the Playstation 2. Many people call it the RPG that made the PS2 the dominating system inn the RPG market last generation. Before FFX, there were no definitive RPG's out there. FFX changed that.

So yeah, that's why I picked FFX. It is, in my opinion, one of the best RPG's ever made. I wasn't able to find a single flaw. The only thing I noticed is that at one point near the end of the game, Wakka's hair started glitching. That's it. Nothing else was wrong with it. It was truely an amazing game.

You missed FInal Fantasy Legend for the GBC, which was a funny as hell because it was so crap I couldn't play it for longer than 2 minutes, and that's altogether, not how much at a time.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children only came about because the game was so popular, and it's overrated because it was the first Final Fantasy game most people played, including me, so yah, FFVII-great music and epic storyline.

Final Fantasy IX as runner up though.
