you all remember the good shows back then, i think TV has really gone down hill since then, if this is the wrong section sorry, and if its a repeat of another thread it can be merged/deleted as needed

but who can forget these shows,

I was just thinking about this the other day. I miss all the great shows that used to be around when I was little. Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network have changed so much and there are so many shows I miss from my younger years.

Catdog was one of my all-time favorites. And Figure It Out. That was a good show. TV today is getting too soft. Kids need cartoon violence to f*ck up so they can grow up right.

No one's mentioned Ren and Stimpy yet. I'm disappoint.

As far as cancelled shows go, that one was tops. To me, anyway.

And this is gonna sound bizarre to some people, but does anyone remember this one Nick show called Weinerville? It was hosted by this guy named Mark Weiner, and there were puppets that had human head but the rest were sock puppet things, like Socko( I think that was his name?) who always beat up Mark, and Boney the dinosaur. They also showed cartoons in between skits.

I'm the only one in my circle o' friends who vividly remembers this show. The rest know of the ones everyone else mentioned.

It's not from the 90s, but... they canceled Invader Zim. There can be no forgiveness for modern television.

Yeah, it's like the cartoons are trying to be all fluffily nice and politically correct, yet children seem to be growing up worse. Go figure.

I miss the good Batman cartoon (luckily my brother has almost the entire series on DVD) and Animaniacs. Some other ones would be Pinky and the Brain, Tom and Jerry, and Gundam Wing... although it's not as good as it could have been. That's about all I can think of from the top of my head.... ooh! Lizzie McGuire, I liked that show when I was younger, but it's just re-runs now... or removed all together from Disney Channel. Recess was another one, I don't think I've seen that one on Disney Channel in a while.

    Cat Dog
    Angry Beavers

    Sonic Underground

    Hmm...I can't remember the others.
