Lol, Best Buy fail. Time to see who will win: customers too stupid to realize that if it sounds too good to be true it is, or the company for not catching the mistake soon enough. Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/12/AR2009081202660.html
.... hyperlolz. It's just like Best Buy to make such a bleeding obvious error, and it's just like people on t'internet to believe it. I really want to see Best Buy lose this because it'll probably put them out of business ^_^.
Wow, I really don't understand why the customers are so upset. It was clearlyan error on the website, and if they're gullible enough to believe it than they've got a myriad of other problems. They seem to be forgetting that websites are made by humans and humans make mistakes every now and then.
If a website makes and ooops like this, and people buy it at 10 bucks, then it's the companies fault for the error.
I guess it is Best Buy's mistake for posting the wrong price on an object, but people should kind of use common sense and realize that lowering the price that drastically normally doesn't happen unless some sort of contest or something is going on. People make mistakes, I don't see why lawyers need to get involved.
It's kinda stupid of the customers to make such a big deal out of it. They obviously know it's some kind of technical error, but they don't care, and they want to do something that amuses them. Still, the company should take responsibility for it too, and maybe settle to give them money (to buy the tv )
I think that Best Buy should give them the TVs for the price it originally said: $9.99. yeah, they'll lose money in doing so, but they're supposed to be a professional company who proofreads everything before it goes up. It's their own fault.
