Which anime battle do you think was the best among all the rest?! Being a huge Bleach fanatic and my love for Ulquiorra, I would have to say the final battle between Ulquiorra and Ichigo! (Even though it dun have a great ending ;-; )
Clare Vs Rigardo - Claymore That was such a sick fight. Couple honorable mentions to some fights in Black Lagoon too though.
DBZ: Cell vs SSJ2 Gohan One Piece: Luffy vs Rob Lucci Fullmetal Alchemist manga: Spoiler Scar vs Wrath Fate/ Stay night: Archer vs Berserker
Lawrence vs. Armati, from Spice & Wolf. It was a pure mental battle, and without giving away too much of the plot, it wasn't really too clear who would come out the winner. There were SO many plot twists too, probably the highlight of the second season.
Tokyo Majin, the main 5 characters vs that lightning guy (I forgot his name) from one of the early episodes. I dunno why, I just loved that fight. And Kambei vs Kyuzo from Samurai 7.
Luffy vs. Rob Lucci from One Piece Hibari vs. Gola Mosca from KHR (I expected an epic fight but instead I got an epic one shot and it was over) Goku vs. Recoome - Mostly for what Goku said during this fight. "I just saw a spot that was screaming "Attack me" so I went for it.
Too difficult to specify one, because they each invoke different emotions. e.g. All of Bokurano's fights are laden with despair. All of Gurren Lagann's are full of epic. Code Geass' is good mecha all around. Evangelion makes sure no one leaves happy. Death Note is a battle of wits. Elfen Lied is lots of gore (although there is a fair bit to be said for dragging a helicoptor down). Higurashi has one good fight, but the rest are just murder. Jigoku Shoujo is one sided torture. Nanoha has nice effects, but it's different in the sense that it's a magical girl series. Now and There, Here and There has depressing fights that don't have victors. One Piece tends to be all about the main character being a tank. School Days had lovely womb-sawing action sequences. Haruhi was mostly CGI. Umineko is a battle of logic. So too difficult to decide. State one category, and I will provide an answer.
Any fight in the Hellsing manga or Hellsing Ultimate. I can't be arsed to pick a favorite, I love them all too much. I can't even say all of Alucard's were the best; Seras got some damn awesome fights near the end as well. The tennis match in Death Note. Not because it was intense, but because it was hilarious. The whole thing was a massive cold war, and Light walked right into it. I can't believe he ended up winning in the end with all the mistakes he made; L made a monkey out of him. The entire Namek saga of Dragonball Z. Most notably: Goku vs. Jeice and Burter, and pre-SSJ Goku vs. Frieza. I like the former because it's what any good display of outrageously unfair power should look like, and the latter because it's simultaneously a lot more and a lot less desperate than post-SSJ Goku vs. Frieza. Roy Mustang vs. Envy in Full Metal Alchemist. If anyone was still b*tching about Envy being a Karma Houdini in the anime, this ought to shut them up. He freaking incinerates Envy's jaw, nearly nukes him when he assumes his giant monster form, and boils the water in his eyes. TWICE. He sent the little f**ker RUNNING. Revenge does not get sweeter. S'all I can think of for now. I'll post more if it's worth another post.
I'm not very good at remembering battles. BUT My favorite battle I can remember is the duel between Jack and Carly in YGO 5D's. So sad and awesome.
Though it isn't a REAL anime, the battle between Azula and Aang in that abandoned town in the second season of Avatar. It was great. Actually, many of the battles in Avatar were great.
Many Avatar:TLA battles are brilliant, but my favorite battle from the show is the battle between Zuko and Azula in the Finale. It really made a tear come to my eye.
Well depends on your definition of "anime." But I agree. That was pretty intense. Final fight in s-CRY-ed between Ryuhou and Kazuma. The way it started like a regular fight, then how their Alters leveled up and they ended in space. And then back down to their bare fists. That series had some intense battles, but that one blew my mind. Vash vs. Knives in Trigun. It really could've used some music, but it was still pretty intense. Ending was somewhat...bleh though. Dragonball Z...I'm not even going to bother narrowing these. My favorite Bleach battle that I've seen (haven't been keeping up with the anime lately) would probably be either Ichigo vs. Renji or Ichigo vs. Grimmjow. FMA (original, not Brotherhood) Ed vs. Mustang. Maybe not that intense, but pretty comical. Naruto: In Part I, Sasuke Vs. Naruto in the Final Valley/Valley of the End. I originally saw it in an AMV and I just had to look it up. The graphics could have been better drawn though. Also, the same two on the top of the hospital. Naruto vs. Neji. Gaara vs. Rock Lee Neji vs. Hinata. I don't care what anyone says, Naruto has some great battles imo.
