Here is where you post your favorite anime openings, I have some, but these are my favorite out of all of them:

Death Note 1st Opening:
Even though I do like the 2ed opening better than the first one, I feel that this one is more appropriate for the anime, story wise. It is very atrsy and symbolic, much like the anime itself. Even the song captures the feeling that the show wants to give off to its audience.

Neon Genesis Evangelion:
Even though this isn't one of my favorite animes, I will say that it does have a really good opening. They symbolism is just amazing and the song is really uplifting. It's ironic because I think the song was used to portray Shinji as this fearless warrior, which, let's be honest...is the complete opposite.

Romeo X Juliet:
Listening to the familar, uplifting song "You Raise Me Up" in Japanese brings back a lot of awesome nostalgia. The opening tries to give off the tragedy that the original play was based off of while preparing any newcomer to what they might be seeing.

My Bride is a Mermaid:
This anime is shojo, so therefore the opening is very shojo. Dammit though, this is shojo at shojo's best. It's a cute little romantic song that's just fun to listen to and makes you do a little dance while listening to it. Many of the sequences in the opening is fun to watch as well, and the song really does fit the anime.

Working!!:
My love for this opening is just by how catchy it is. The sequence is reminicant of the oepening for Azumanga Diaoh (?) but I didn't find the music boring in Working!!. Sure, the song didn't make sense with the anime, but rarely does it ever do that. It is, however, incredibly catch and something you'd want to listen to over and over again.

 

True that the 1st opining caught my attetion, I still feel like the 2nd theme is better because of the dark aspect of the show, I thought it led to telling you that the show is more serious then other animes, but thats just what I think oh and the 2nd ending is awesome also!:

Always loved InuYasha: The Final Act's opening.
But since Viz is a whore they've disabled audio on all the openings lolol.

Worlds end is also a good Code Geass OP, it was so good, that someone made a fantastic English dub of it!

I gotta say, Death Note 2nd Opening and Beginning definitely are the best in my opinion. So Hardcore XD

The American Pokemon Theme:
Admit it, when you're bored, you start huming along to the song. I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was! To catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause! Now I got the song in your head, didn't I? It helped make the show popular back when it first came out, and it did what it was made to do: to chime us in and not make us change the channel. It's an adictive song that will probably never die (and let's hope it never does).

Death Note - Second Opening
Gundam00 - Openings 1, 2, and 4
Gurren Lagann - Opening 1
GANTZ - Opening 1

 

That series seems pretty interesting, I like the opening also, very calm and quite! Really sets the tone to it!

Oh god, that theme is still stuck to my head now! It just won't escape anyones head!

 

I love Spice & Wolf SO MUCH.
The song that most often gets stuck in my head from it is the Season One closing though.

I'd say the best would be both of Death Note's openings.

But a personal fav. of mine would be Samurai Champloo...
