Doesn't really seem like something that should be in ID, but that isn't my call.

But to answer the question, it doesn't really matter, they are just words. Like when people cuss, it seems those people should be thrown in hell, wow, just for a word. If someone called themselves the best, then it doesn't really matter. But if someone said they are perfect, then i'd just laugh. There is always a flaw in a human, and you can't change anything about it.

i think the words should exist. but should NOT be used to define a person. in any way.

I think they should exist. Most certainly. It's an excellent way to describe an event or an object.

However, humans or living creatures should never be considered "perfect". Or the "best".

When someone says they are the best, or are perfect, who actually cares but themselves? It's kinda a way of trying to picture yourself 'better than people', when everybody really is equal.

No one's perfect, there must be someone who is the best at something even if they don't know it. Like we are all the best of being ourselves, no one else can do that. I say absolutely NOTHING is perfect not even nobodies. I think they should stay though.

"Best" and "Perfect" to me are momentary, transitional words as in "Jeff did a perfect job on that science project". Jeff at the moment of the scene had a science project that was bedazzling and no flaws could be readily discerned. So therefore to the judges looking on it, it was said to be perfect.

Best is also a transitional word for a moment in time. "I did the best I could". "I am the best player on my team." These things are not permanent but truly a person could have tried his/her best and given all he/she could in the past at the exact time the person refers to. The person wouldn't still be doing it. The need for it is over. Also, a person may just be recognized as the most efficient player on a team, but obviously that is not going to always be the case. Someone always comes along who will be better.

Some people use the words in an annoying way to say "I am perfect", but we all know that no one is perfect so that is just arrogance talking. Arrogance isn't perfect so tell them that "Your arrogance is a notable flaw" and thus perfection is ruined. If people use the words how they are meant to be used, there's nothing wrong with them. People often use many words in error or to mean what they want to imply at a moment. Doesn't mean we should toss out the words.

When people talk about perfection, they are lying, they would never know if something is perfect if they have never seen perfection and people have never seen perfection, everything has flaws.

I agree, people like that just refuse to look at the down sides, but may not even know. Man is not perfect, what we amke is not perfect.

No one is perfect or flawless. We are human, we make mistakes. I'm not saying we never do anything good, just that everyone makes mistakes sometimes, even if they don't like admitting it.

Yep, that's true. Mistakes are everyday life, and we regret them. But perfect and best shouldn't be taken out from the world, they're just words.

I don't think perfect is possible, yet it exists in everything.

Best...you'll always find someone better than you.

I don't think any of these words should be used often :[
None of them are true. Noones perfect, and there will always be someone in the world that's better than you at something.

I spit on perfection. You can be the best at things though.
