I'm looking forward to my Hobbit + LOTR marathons. Extended editions, of course.

This. I plan on doing this when the next film comes out on DVD. If it doesn't take more than 24 hours than I shall be disappointed.

Well, at least you're getting the worst one out of the way first.

It took me a very long time to figure out why you would marathon the movies. At first, I just assumed "oh, he just wants to marathon a movie, like how i might marathon the Harry Potter movies during a weekend because I'm bored". Then facebook reminded me why someone would do such a thing today.

    How original

I had a Star Wars Party. XD We had color coordinated snacks, we had decorations, and even though only three people showed up (Oh how I wish my online friends could have come) we still had a fun time playing Star Wars Monopoly. XD

We didn't have time to do all the things we wanted to do, as our Sundays are really busy, but we've elected to extend the holiday for a week, so we can play our old video games, watch the movies (or really, just the Original Trilogy) and play our Star Wars Original Trilogy Trivial Pursuit!!! :D

I don't care if I'm "unoriginal," it's my opinion, with Attack of the Clones as second worst and Return of the Jedi as third.

thank you for not automatically saying ep3 is the 3rd worst just by virtue of not being one of the originals.

I liked a lot more of Revenge of the Sith than I did Return of the Jedi. Specifically, I really enjoyed the moments of Anakin when he wasn't talking (dude, the moment where he's marching with the Clone Troops...holy shit that is some great stuff,) and I liked the pacing more, though I still loved the beginning of Revenge of the Jedi, up until...the Ewoks beating the soldiers meant to be flawless.

his "i hate you" as he's burning is bone chilling. as wooden as he always seemed that delivery was great. imo.
and revenge of the sith came out when my star wars fandom was in its prime so its impossible for me to look at that movie objectively and judge it. it's one of my favorite movies. though iv is still my favorite.
    i agree about jedi.
and attack of the clones is the one sw movie that i don't care for. i mean i like it because it's star wars but i always have problems watching it compared to the others

Revenge of the Sith was the first one where I actually came out thinking it was stupid, honestly. Before that I was too young to really grasp what was wrong with the first two, I jsut liked the cool action scenes.
But with Sith I came out saying "what, that's his ENTIRE motivation for becoming the Vader and serving the Emperor?"
    It's just like
"I can maybe sort of kinda prevent deaths but you need to help me maybe"
"Whoops you killed the person you were trying to save, the only thing that was really keeping you on my side, especially since you know I've been lying this whole time now"
"Welp, guess it's time to spend the rest of my life serving you in this new robot suit I guess"
