Beautiful Disaster

"Then he's thirsty." Grey held back a laugh after he spoke. Holden quieted down a little and whined, for a reason unknown to Grey. "Come on Rebecca...wouldn't be the first time I saw." He teasingly added.

 

Grey shrugged and watched as Holden fell asleep again. "You hold him. I might wake him again." He whispered, scooting closer to Rebecca.

 

Grey stared at Rebecca for several moments, getting an urge to do something by just looking at her. He slid his hand slowly under Rebecca to pinch her.

 

"Yes...?" Grey scooted closer, holding back his own laughter. In a way, he expected more of a reaction but either way, it was still fun for him. "What is it, Rebecca?"

 

Grey got off the bed and sighed out quietly. "I'll be outside. Maybe you should get some rest." He leaned over and kissed the top of Rebecca's head quickly before turning away and leaving the room.

 

OOC: What's with so many people using those spaces in their...stuffs? :B|: It's a fad. Booo.

BIC: "They'll be here soon." The doctor stated calmly before Grey could say a word. The doctor laughed a little and tilted his head slightly. "Afraid?"

"More like annoyed." Grey muttered in response, turning his head away. "If they try anything, I'll-"

"That's no way to talk to the family." The doctor cut him off, opening the front door slowly. "They got here faster than I expected."

 

Grey crossed his arms and looked off elsewhere as some of his family members walked into the room. He sighed, hoping the others would just leave.

"Look at him. All grown up." A male voice said from the small group. "So you really did have-"

"If you say a single insult..." Grey interrupted threatingly, slowly turning to face the five newcomers.

A man stepped forward from them and walked up towards Grey, rubbing his own chin thoughtfully. "Does it show any signs of power? Or is it just human?" The man said it as if it was something disgusting, the tone bothered Grey.

"It is a boy. And it wouldn't matter if he has any powers or not. I don't want him associating with any of you." Grey glared at the man who stood at his hieght. "It'd be best if he never sees you."

The man's face softened as he stepped back away from Grey. "I thought your son would love to meet me. I'm his grandfather after all."

 

Grey looked down and took in a deep breath. He stood quiet for a moment, letting himself calm down. "I'll...only let two of you see our son as of now."

A woman stepped foward and stood by Grey's father. "Alright then. What's her name? The human."

"Rebecca. Now give me a sec..." Grey turned away and walked into the room Rebecca and Holden were in.

Grey lowered his eyes. "My....parents want to see you and Holden. Can they come in?" He reluctantly asked.

BIC: Grey tapped a finger against the door and turned around. "Don't worry. They won't hurt either of you. Although they are a bit...well they're not too fond of humans but my mother will probably more accepting..." He left the room, going to go get his parents.
