Birth by Sleep bbs battle system

im not sure if anyone has said this before but we all know that the battle system is supposed to be like cards. well if anyone of you has played sonic battle 1 for gba then you know what im talking about. where you customize the battle sytem with cards how you swing and how fast.

if you havent played it then i'll explain. if you swing something like a stick like this __ that is part of the combo= 1 card. then you swing diagonal like this / = 1 card. i'll put it simpler. look in the kh2 stratedgy guide and lok at sora attacks. the box that would say something like
Horizontal slash .25
diagonal slash .5 these would be two battle system cards. and if the theory is correct then you will have points that limit what cards you can use because they have points like abilities.

huh? i though the idea of using cards were scrapped. I havn't seen any card usage in the recent screenshots and trailers.

 

Neither have i but if there are i still won't buy it, and where did you hear that they are going to use the card system...? i hope that there are more reaction commands if any in BBS.....

 

i believe the cards were originally part of it. it came from a really old interview back when the three games were first announced and it said that bbs was going to have a similar battle system to CoM using cards.

either that or it was just some wikipedia hogwash.

in either case it looks like there will be no cards, just the KH gameplay we all know and love.

 

Oh the individual bars in the command menu are the "cards" in question. I don't think it's a direct repeat of CoM's battle system anyway, looks more KH2 with a customizable command menu.
