Birth by Sleep BBS Axel ~Spoilers~

We all know that Axel was friends with Roxas, what I don't understand is

how Axel doesn't recognise Roxas as Ven when he met him. Heck, Axel even dueled Ven with his frisbees. Does this mean the organization members got a mind wipe from certain BBS events by Xemnas? Or is it just a ****up by the game devolepers?

 

Nobodies don't remember anything from their past lives, as is mentioned multiple times during 358. That's kinda like the story of the game; Roxas remembering bits of Sora's life and Axel saying 'Nobodies can't remember their past." yada yada yada.

 

I'm pretty sure that Nobodies can remember their past live because Saix and Axel both remember that they were good friends in their past lives and they use their memories to fake their emotions.

 

Yeah, in Days Axel said to Roxas multiple times that Nobodies remember their former self, with exception of Roxas and Xion. I don't know why Axel doesn't recognise Ven in Roxas though.

 

I assume that he didn't see a connection between them. He knew that Roxas was Sora's Nobody and he really didn't know much about Ven I think. So I guess he could have just thought that they were 2 people that look alike.

 

Oh yeah. It's the other way. I haven't played for a while and I never paid attention. I figured it was one or the other.

 

For all we know Axel probably forgot

or perhaps Axel was simply too young. Xigbar remembered because he was older, which means it would be harder for him to forget....

either that or he didn't want to mention it to Roxas.​

 

I think that is. he didn't mentioned it to roxas and it was one of the things that he was hidding from him.

 

The only nobody who forgot there past was roxas, I would say xion but she was just a copy of sora not a nobody.

 

Maybe like Xigbar, Xemnas, Xaldin, Aleaus, Even and Zexion, he just never told him.

Though he could have forgotten since he was only a kid when he met him.

Yeah the reason why many characters who knew Ven and later saw Roxas make no mention of the similarity or refer to any of the events in BBS in gonna have to be explained in a later game cuz currently it doesn't make a lot of sense.

 

Have we found out yet what "Erase Me." was all about?

[If you're confused, there was a scene in a couple trailers where Ven is on the beach of Destiny Islands and he asks for Aqua to "erase" him.]

 

Because that's completely relevant to the BBS version of Axel? lol

Eraqus says Ven shouldn't exist and tries to kill him (I think) which is why Terra fights him.

But I don't know why.
Maybe, for whatever the reason is, Ven agreed.

 

It is relevant.
Finding out what "Erase Me" meant could lead to why Axel didn't recognize Roxas as looking like Ven.

But we know Aqua remembers him in the Secret Ending
And Xigbar recognized him in Days
Xemnas was hinted to recognizing him.
Then again, Nomura could have a loophole explanation for those

Saix hasn't been shown to recognise Roxas as Ven.

 

when did xigbar recognize roxas as ven? when xion turned into ven? well, maybe that erase me is the explanation. maybe, if he doesn't had to exist he was just a memory or kinda a "part" of someone that does exist. maybe he has some conection with vanitas.

 

Maybe they did know but something would happen if roxas knew?
I think it will be explained in kh3.

 

Saix took an interest into Roxas because he was the keyblade wielder and the one who could help the organization complete kingdom hearts.
And that part about friendship was reference to Isa and Lea who were friends and Roxas and Axel who were friends when Saix said that.

In 358/2 days, there's a cutscene where Xigbar is with Xion and he sees her as Ven.
