There will be a Battlefield 4 gameplay reveal on the 27th~ Here's the website! Checked the source and this is the image under the script. Makes for a pretty cool wallpaper I think. Spoiler Also here's the most notable location image that I stumbled upon on Kotaku where they zoomed in from the large image below: ^^^Shanghai^^^
Hopefully it will be avalable day 1 for the 720 and PS4 and have my hopes for the WiiU. I am an optamyst about the system still. My hopes in EA have been not to high however. Battlefield series wise is much better then the Call of Duty series in my opinion. Much more balance and interactive play. I will likely pick it up rather than Modern Warfare 4 whenever i get a gen 8 console or an amazing PC.
I'm not really eager to get this game in any way. Having just recently started playing on the last DLC of Battlefield 3, End Game, it feels too soon to be announcing a direct sequel like this already. Feel slightly ripped off for becoming a Premium member (but EA is good like that). It'll probably take full advantage of Frostbite beautiful again, can't really see how they'd improve how it looks from 3, but with the next gen coming they may have ramped it up a bit. Will get this at some point, just to play my friends if anything.
I can't see how sea combat will work but I have hope, the developers did well with the inclusion of jets into the series. Think it might be restricted to submarines by the looks of it, the aircraft carrier might be included in that you can sink it to destroy aircraft in combat, but I can't see much more than that. Still interesting.
Well, Single Player looks.... boring? Apart from some OTT stuff, the actual gameplay is big standard shooter stuff. Ultimately I care about the Multiplayer and that's about it. I mean, would love the SP to be good, but it's just another soldier stooping some enemies from conquering the world or something like that. Face tech is niiiiice. Also, that player is... pretty bad, I was expecting something competent, I mean it was pre recorded right?
It doesn't look all too different when I watched it via my 360. Small graphic enhancements and some new features. Woot. Let me see some of the gameplay and graphics on Gen 8 consoles then you will catch my attention. As of now, it is just a curiosity.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-watch-bf4-at-60fps glorious 60fps but yeah, I'm glad they're amping the destruction back up from BF3. it was really lacking. also, i'm hoping next gen consoles will be able to handle more than 24 players because that's just too small for Battlefield. it'll be a deciding factor if i get it or not.
