Battle of the Kingdoms

OOC- I added Lady Katherine and Lady Hope as my other characters... :)

Hana flipped through the book looking for a certain article.

Lady Hope walked through the castle.

Kathy prepared the knight's weapons for the rescue mission to save Alex.

 

Rey watched for a certain caravan of guards and eventually caught them walking through the middle streets of the kingdom, cheers ringing out through the cities. Rey laughed and went downstairs to the ground floor, running outside and standing in the doorway, smiling. The king was back.

OOC: I'm going to be the king, is that all right?

Name: King Markus
Age: 29
Gender: male
Role: King, as his name implies.
Kingdom: Utawaru
Weapon: Battle Axe
Appearance: Blond hair tied neatly in a ponytail down to his waist, red cape with a purple inside lining, blue headband keeping bangs out of eyes, green armor plate, orange vest, black boots and gloves. Also has blue eyes.

Bio: He took Rey as his son
Other: He is extremely fast.

BIC: Rey watched King Markus walk up to the castle and couldn't hold back a few tears of joy. It had been over a year and Rey had long since thought the king was dead because none of trips through the kingdom ever take a year and a half to complete.

 

Lady Hope heard of her husband's return and was overjoyed. She told the chefs to prepare a feast.

Kathy had, too, heard of the King's return. She finished sharpening the knight's blades and walked to the front of the castle. King Markus... has he heard the news, yet? I'm sure he won't be too happy to see that his daughter has been kidnapped... she walked out front and smiled as she saw King Markus. She bowed in respect. "Welcome back, your highness..." she said.

Hana found the article and ran her finger down the page as she read it.

 

"It feels good to be back." King Markus said. Looking into Rey's eyes, King Markus smiled warmly. Then, his smile faded as he looked from Kathy to Rey, then to an empty spot next to Rey. "Where is Alex?" King Markus said. Rey's eyes widened in horror as it suddenly came back to him that he had commenced a rescue mission to save Alex and the king hadn't even gotten word of it. "She's been kidnapped." Rey said, bowing his head. "I had figured you wouldn't have returned before we saved her, so I made up a group of search and rescue warriors to go and get her back." Rey kept his head down. "Well, then." king Markus said, looking up. "We'll just have to go and get her back, won't we?" he said, gesturing to Rey and Lady Kathy. Rey's head shot up in surprise. "But you just got back!" Rey said in disbelief. "If we go now, who'll keep the kingdom under watch?" "Why, the head knight of course." King Markus said, smiling again.

 

"But your highness... the head knight has been ordered to go on the rescue mission to save Lady Alex..." she said. "We have made sure that a few knight stay behind to help in case of an emergency... I assure you that everything is under control..." she stood up straight again.

 

"Hmm..." The king said. "Without a leader, though, how are we to keep the kingdom in check?" The king asked. He knew the answer was clear enough that one of the lesser servants might have to take the position.

 

OOC: Our kingdom is basically the good guys right?

 

"Well, your honor... the Queen is still here... and one of the lesser knights could keep everything in check..." she suggested.

Hana shut the book and placed it back on the shelf. She opened the door to her room and walked out. That wasn't any help... she thought.

Lady Hope walked to the front of the castle.

"Ah! Yes, that year and a half made me forget. Okay, we'll set off with the group... in three hours, that's enough time for you two to get ready." King Markus said.

 

Sir Walsh approached the king, "my lord....we have just about prepared for the rescue mission for Princess Alex......" he said bowing his head and on one knee, "good day Lady Katherin...." he smiled.

 

Kathy smiled. "Good day to you, too, Sir Walsh..." she said and kneeled. "I have prepared the weapons for the rescue..."

 

"Ah! Sir Walsh, there you are. I already know of the kidnapping, and we leave in three hours, Rey and Lady Katherine need to prepare still." King Markus said, greeting Sir Walsh warmly. "Er, Sir?" Rey asked, trying hard not to refer to King Markus as Mark or Father, "I'm already ready to go. Why do I have to prepare?" "Because that's flimsy armor." King Markus replied.

"I await your orders sir......" Sir Walsh said getting up and heading over to the stables, "Lady Katherin's as beautiful as always Sam....." he smiled petting his stallion's nose, "don't worry.....we will be able to rescue Princess Alex....."

 

Kathy watched Sir Walsh walk off and turned to Rey. "I can provide you with some stronger armor if needed..." she said.

Lady Hope walked outside and smiled as she saw King Markus. "Markus!" she said and walked over to him. "Welcome back..."

 

Sir Walsh put a saddle on Sam and made sure the reigns and bit were correctly fit, "there we go....." he smiled patting his side, "I guess we wait on Prince Renji now......" he said, "perhaps I can help....." he said.

 

Rey watched Sir Walsh head for the stables and followed him, since his armor was kept there next to the stables, where the blacksmith was. "No thanks, Lady Kathy, my good armor's in the stables. Just in case" Rey added,, hiding his mouth with his hand when he said Just in case.

Markus saw Lady Hope walk outside. "Good to be back. But I have to leave in three hours."

 

Kathy walked back towards the storage room where she had put the weapons and she took them out. She gave each of the knights their weapons and walked over to where Rey and Sir Walsh were. "Your weapon, sir..." She said and kneeled down, handing Rey his sword and then Sir Walsh.
