Battle of the Kingdoms

Lady Katherin stood back up and took out her sword in case it was needed, but nothing else happened and she walked over to her horse, examining it's injured leg. "It's in there pretty deep..." she muttered to herself and stood back up. "Is everybody else okay...?" she asked.

Hana sighed and looked at the knights lined up, waiting for battle. If they really want to protect their people... they would put some forces at the outer towns of the Zinchuri Kingdom... she thought and shook her head.

Lady hope looked out the window. Her hands were clasped in prayer for the safe return of the group.

 

Rey looked around the sky for any more attacks.

Lady Katherin searched through a small bag of supplies she had brought with her until she found a small medical kit. She took it out and started to put some of the medicine on Shadow's leg. The horse neighed. "Shh... calm down, girl..." she said as she pet her horse comfortingly. She finished and put the medical kit away again. "That should be good for now..." she said and looked around. "They seem to have left..." she said.

 

"Don't bet on it" King Markus said. "You'll never know if they truly have left."

 

Kathy looked at King Markus and then closed her eyes. I don't feel anyone nearby... she thought. And I don't see anybody nearby...

 

King Markus heard a gunshot and Rey suddenly jolted, stepped back a few steps, clutched his side, then fell over.

 

Kathy heard the gunshot and jumped a bit. She then turned around and ran over to prince Rey. "Prince Rey!" She shouted and stopped next to him. She saw that he had been shot. Geez... she thought. "Sir... are you okay... sir!" she said. Quickly she got up and got the medical kit, and then ran back to his side.

 

Rey spit up some blood and curled even more into a ball. "It-It HURTS!" he shouted, coughing up mor eblood as he did so.

 

Kathy quickly ran over and knelt down beside him, opening the medical kit. "Please, sir... don't talk... you'll only make it worse..." she said and pulled out a bit of medicine. "This might sting a bit... try to stay as still as possible..." she said and applied the medicine gently, so that it stung as little as possible. She had learned how to use medical skills from going to medical school when her mother had wanted her to be a nurse.

 

OOC: Small recap please? Sorry haven't been posting much.

 

OOC- they entered the town and not many people were there... then arrows suddenly came and shot at them... one hit Kathy's horse in the leg and she bandaged it up... but now Prince Rey just got shot in the side and Kathy is trying to help him... that's about it... :)

 

"O-ow..." Rey said. It was all he could manage.

 

Kathy finished putting on the medicine and took a deep breath. "There... now I just need to bandage it and you should be fine..." she assured Prince Rey as she took out the bandages.

 

Rey was breathing hard and was sweating profusely.

 

Kathy noticed that he was sweating. Dang it... if I don't do something quick... we might lose him... she thought and tried to pace her mind for what to do that could help.

 

A small bottle landed next to Rey. "Stole it off of the Zinchuri Guards. that was a poison bullet. This might be the antidote." King Markus said.

 

Kathy took the bottle and examined it. "But they may have been carrying it around to fool us... it could just make it worse..." she said. "It'll be risky if we use this... but I may be able to tell if it's real or not..."

 

"Hmph. If I know anything of those Zinchuri dogs, I know they'd only try to fool us if they put a LABEL on the bottle." King Markus said with an emphasis on the word label.

 

"Don't ever underestimate them..." Kathy said. "You never know when they will fool you..." she opened the bottle and looked into it to see if it was real or not. "Just as I thought... it's a very toxic poision... one drop of this could kill anybody in an instant..." she said.
