Heya. I played the demo for it and I thought it looked like a pretty good game. I've read reviews and they say good things about them. Do you think it is a good game? I just like to have an idea of what non critics think of the games I might buy before I invest in a copy.
I say it's worth it, especially at the price it is now. Voted Game of the Year several times, it pretty much tells you the quality of what to expect. It's not reptitive since gadgets and free-flowing combat help you mix things up. It's got a good plot, a nice mix of enemies, and some beautiful voice work by Mark Hamill, now he IS the Joker. Btw, if you have a PS3 you can get a free download to play as the Joker in Challenge maps. To sum it up, if you're a fan of Batman, get it. If you're not a fan, get it anyway!
i was never a real fan of Batman but i was pleasantly suprised by this game. while it starts off kinda slow it gets better and better. i do think that they could've made the close combat better because i found that you can take out an entire group of unarmed enemies without getting hit. to be honest, when it came to that, it reminded me of that Family Guy episode when Joe got his new legs and beat up Peter, Joe, and Quagmire without getting hit once. that's my only criticism of the game but like peaceandwar said, it's worth buying at it's new low price.
Yeah, I know what you mean...Cause I remember when I was at Gamestop and I saw someone playing this game there and I thought it looked SO Easy... That was exactly what I saw! And yeah, It totally was just like that episode of Family Guy!
Then you should have played the game on hard mode to get rid of the 'bat senses' thing. I'm actually glad they made it like that because Batman is an expert martial artist. It wouldn't make sense if he couldn't take out an entire room of idiots while getting hit all the time. This is the first game based on a fictional character where it actually makes you believe you are this person. Go buy it OP. It was my GOTY last year and a great addition to anyone's library. Get the ps3 version as stated before for glorious Joker challenges.
Okay I think I will get it soon. I don't have a PS3 :( so if I got the PS3 version it would be kind of silly lol :) Yeah I got the sense that the creators were saying: Batman is such a badass that he can beat unarmed henchmen handsdown. And what I loved is when you go through small vents it does make you think you are batman because you see your shadow and it is Batmans. So when I get it I will get the games for Windows version.
It's worth it honestly, great for both people new to Batman or not. I've played it twice already and waiting for the sequel.
