Ahh, so this tim eit looks like Joker's set Bats up with the challenge of his personal funhouse. Interesting. I can imagine some of the sections now. Isn't this kinda soon after the release of the first game? I mean this tops the announcement of Left 4 Dead 2 & Fable 3, in fastest sequel announced this year.
That's the original Joker design from the cartoon. He looks perfect. I swear you better not be thinking that he should look more like the Heath Joker. This game probably won't come out until early '11 at the earliest.
Yeah, that'll be true. I just don't get why developers advertise a sequel so soon after the release of the first one. Though I guess it's better than waiting around 2 years before you hear about the next KH game.
lolno, i hate it when people think that should be his new design, i just never liked his laugh, and the receding hairline, and just makes him feel much more older than he seems (lol what am i talking about?) But then again, thats just me.
I've noticed a bit more of a delapidated feeling that the trailer gives off, so i'm wondering if there this game isn't an instant sequel but one set in the future. In the trailer, Joker obviously appears older, not sure if this us due in part to actual age or the Titan stuff. Looked at the trailer a few times and saw the Iceberg Lounge, not sure if this is a shout out to Penguin or Mr. Freeze, but what caught my interest was a torn poster that I swore said "We Want You". Could be that someone is recruiting and staging full out war on Gotham. If the game is set in the future version of Gotham, I wonder if we may see the inclusion or introduction of Nightwing...kinda hope not but could be cool.
Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and more yes. But this one had better have Mr. Freeze, or I'm tossing a weak "no" in there too.
I'm hoping it'll have some of the characters it referenced in the first game like Ras Al Ghul or Mr. Freeze. I'm expecting Ras since his body which unlocks a character profile disappears after certain events.
It's because of the extreme Titan dosage. If you noticed Haley hasn't aged a bit and she's still wearing the nurse outfit. Iceberg Lounge is a shout out to Penguin and the poster is a shout out to Two Face. And I could see a Nightwing, but please no Robin. Having a child in this game would totally take away from the dark gritty feeling unless Rocksteady are willing to pull things with the Robin character lots of people never have.
Robin has not been around for 70 years because of nostalgia or respect. Robin would work fine. Rocksteady have no need to reinvent the wheel, because the wheel is already perfect. But they can fine tune for their design.
My problem with Robin is that since in most Batman comics he's a child/teen and that takes away from the grittiness. I haven't read many Batman comics that were dark and still had Robin in it. If Rocksteady can keep the dark story in the next Batman with Robin still in the mix I'm more than happy for that.
That's far from true. Damien's 10 and he'd fit just fine. So would Tim since he's more detective orientated.
I do believe he was confirmed along with other characters in this: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gt-pop-block-batman-arkham/60075
Hrmm, nah. I think it'll stick with just Batman as our caped crusader. I dont recall any references to Grayson/Tim/Damien at all in AA, only Barbara. ...I'm hoping they will get rid of the 'hold button' to run.
