The color of the render doesn't match the color of the background, I suggest you either make it blend more, or mess with the coloring a bit more.
Dude, blend more. The colors are too different. And the pixely things aren't working well with it. What program are you using? Then I can say a better cnc.
That makes it way easier. Well, I use GIMP as well, so I think I'll give pretty precise information. Try to sharpen the render itself a bit. But first find some decent brushes. Try duplicating the render layer like 2 times and smudge on the ones not seen. The top layer should be sharpened, the others should be smudged on. Use the gradient a few times. Other than that, GJ.
Ah....no clue what that means ^^; Wait...No I think I do understand...which is a large step for Ian. I have downloaded brushes. I got BILLIONS OF EM! ....well, that was an exaggeration. I have over a hundred.
Dude, blend more. The colors are too different and it makes my eyes unfocused. It would be better blended alot more.
The Forte render is miscolored and should have retained it's original color. It could be resized to a much more proportionate size to the canvas. The text is VERY noticable and doesn't blend well. It also contradicts any flow trying to be made. The lines/effects around the render should be taken out. The border is unnecessary as it ruins the effects made. You should try to create a less noticable border by using smaller px selections and lowering the opacity of the layer. The signature lacks flow of any kind and the effects are random. The older sprite of Forte is also unncessary as it kind of ruins the thing. Unfortunately, the render is sort of low quality, so it's a bit difficult to incorporate flowing effects with it. A good thing to add to this sig, as well as some of the other sigs that you have previously made, is a C4D that blends with the render and creates some flow. Using pick effects and smudging are also very effective if used correctly. Negative space is also good to add if the render/stock is at a good size. Try to vary some of your effects and don't be afraid to try something new.
I would honestly smudge the hell out of that bass render, get some C4D's and just go explosion crazy. Also, I would move Bass over to the opposite side, and use that explosion that you cut off of the left side as a primary light source.
C4ds are used to create effects like in my first sig. Lol, here's a really good c4d pack given to me by Mr.White (hope he doesn't hate me for giving it to you) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NU6EZJG8
Lol, c4ds are renders, they work for everyone. Just make sure you put the layer effect to screen (or the equivilence to it in GIMP).
Any better? yes. It appeals more than the one before. Try to lose the sharpening of the brushes. And the scanlines could be lowered on opacity to about 40.
