banned members online? >>

I'm just wondering... how can a member be online if they're banned? I've seen numerous people online but they're profile says they're banned... how is this possible? >_>

 

I've been trying to figure that out too. From what I heard, banned members are able to lurk the forum, but they're forbidden from posting anything...

 

I think banned people can still log in, but not post. So that they don't get the annoying message to create an account to view more thread pages.

 

well thats stupid... if they are banned they shouldnt be able to log in at all...

And it stops them from just making new accounts. To a point at least. 90% of them still do.

 

And some of them aren't really permabanned. Least that I know.

They can still log in and see when/if their ban is going to be lifted.

Otherwise yeah, they can still lurk but not post.

R U sure that they can't post... i saw a banned person post... i was like WHOA... but i 4get where i saw that tho... <_<

im sure they were banned cuz they were GRAY... and thir title said BANNED... O.o
