Backgrounds of the missing Organisation members (IX to XII)

Their powers come from turning into Nobodies. All the nobodies have super-human powers, but the ones who look human form are stronger. Their powers are usually connected to their personality or past life.

As for the members we have no info on? It can be assumed that the Organization picked them up around the different worlds when they were in their missions and what not.

 

This. We don't know exactly what the members after Axel did before becoming Nobodies, but I think it's pretty irrelevant to the actual story. Thought they were obviously recruited after the Organization actually formed (I wonder if their name changed from Organization VI to Organization XIII as they recruited?). I think Axel and Saix were hinted at having been active as Nobodies before being recruited, but they went by their real names, Lea and Isa until Xemnas renamed them, so it's safe to say the others were similar cases.

As for their powers, it may have something to do with their personality or previous lives, but it's definitely connected to them becoming Nobodies, at least mostly. Braig showed that it's possible to have an elemental power before becoming a Nobody, though I'm not sure if that was a personal ability or if MX somehow gave it to him.

If we were to guess about the others, then I think Larxene was probably a very nice person and the loss of her heart -as well as the thought that she had no emotions without it- drove her a bit mad and then she simply embraced her Nobodyness. Marluxia was probably someone from a noble family. Demyx, someone who simply wanted to slide through life, playing music. I've always imagined Luxord as either a traveler, possibly a con-artist, but someone who went town to town for his trade (which is also something he did for fun) or some form of mercenary.

 

I see Marluxia as a scientist also, he could be a biologist, and he was deaply interested in the keyblade and the truth of the heart. Although curiosity insn't a definity sign of he being a scientist, curiosity in itself is a quality that is deaply conected to the scientists comunity.
In a sense even Master Xehanort and the original "Seekers of Darkness" (the one's that created the keyblade as image of the original X-Blade) are somewhat scientists and they do their little experiments, only that they have other means to conduct their experiments like the power that comes with the keyblade.

But one thing for sure, even BEFORE they became Nobodies they probably had some minor dark powers, like Ansem The Wise, that was never turned into a Nobodie, just being stuck in the realm of darkness and acepting his darkness allowed him to be able to use the dark corridors, of course that possibly didn''t happened to all members of Organization XIII as most of them probably got their heart hijacked by Xehanort(Now calling himself Ansem) with the help of the keyblade, so they fell into darkness almost instantanosly, but the first members like Braig (Xigbar) who have being "falling into darkness with the aid of Master Xehanort for a awhile" sould have proper powers of darkness even before hand (as we could see Braig fighting that he was able to "fly" and teleport himself as human).

The powers of Org XII isn't all about their "fields" I guess their hobbies also count, Demyx played guittar probably, and that dude with cards could just really enjoy playing cards, but his work was with other thing intirely... Xalladin and the guy with a tomahalk were Bodyguards of the Lab /castle of Ansem the wise.. so their powers are strickly linked with their weapons of favorite use.


But even with that in mind, nothing stops the members to have magical powers before hand, and thus being selected for being part of the Org because of it.. there are magical people in every world, and maybe trough the use of "natural magic" that they discovered the power of darkness that lives in one's heart.. Ansem had studied the heart for so long it would be strange if he wasn't capable to do basic stuff...

 

I dont know who said it, but I´m sure many players out there really do want to know why a person joined the Organisation and what they did before they joined. I dont think that the named members will be erased from the history of future KH games. They all have a fanbase and it wouldnt be a good idea to let them down. Perhaps their return just didnt fit in KH3D.

 

On the novels, we got a relatively small amount of information from Larxene's past life: she stated that having no heart was "alright" and having one was painful. So that means she was emotional hurt a lot when she was a Nobody, maybe even causing her sadistic nature. But, you know, if the game's plot isn't based on the novels then that piece of information is incredibly irrelevant.

 

Thats interesting, perhaps she willingly became a Nobody, because she didn´t want to feel the pain of a broken heart any longer.

 

Actually, I read somewhere that the added scenes in KH2FM were made to follow the novels more.

 

Somewhere being..? Not everywhere is reliable on these things, y'know?

If like to see what the heck is up with Marly and Larxy though, I mean, Larxene seems like she had an awful life, and that's why she's so cold and uncaring as a Nobody.

I too want to know the background stories to the other members especially Marluxia! I recon Luxord will return for reasons already stated, perhaps he deliberately had a minor role in KH2 because he is going to be a bigger thing later on in the series. I would love to see Marluxia's return simply because he was very evil in CoM and he betrayed the organisation so would he fight against Xehanort or Sora?

Since time travel is seemingly become very important then I think Luxord will make an appearance and I hope he does because his character was interesting and I would like it to be developed a bit more.
