(( Okay, there's a little too much "OOC"ing going on. Time to shake things up a bit. >.<;

I'm feeling brave today... so here goes! ))

"Excuse me...? Ma'am...? Ma'am..."

The woman sitting at a long desk glanced down from her book long enough to see another brat asking for help of some sort. Girl. Dirty. Had weird-lookin' sun-glasses on.

She sighed, rolling her eyes. "What do ya want?" she grumbled, turning back to her book.
"Is this the Orphanage?"
"That's what it SAYZZZ, don't it?" The woman blew out a bubble of bubble gum, popped it, and went back to smacking loudly.
"... Uh-huh..." Mondétoile said slowly, blinking.

"Look, kid - if you're tryin' to get to somethin' hurry it up. I'm a VERY busy lady..." the woman growled, clearly enraptured within her book. She pulled out a little of her gum, and began twirling it around her finger.
Mondétoile sighed, wearily. "I'm looking for a place to stay..." she started wearily. "And I was wondering if--"
"Sure, sure, sure - find a room that's empty and crash in it. Okay - talking done! Bye bye, now, sweety."
"What? But isn't there some kinda... paperwork that I need to...?"
"Look, kid - take it or leave it.
"......................."

The girl shrugged. She could tell that thins place was not exactly "child friendly" right away, but it was all she had. As long as it had heat, running water, and shelter from rain, she'd be fine.

She quietly stalked away, dragging her worn rollable suitcase behind her.

(( BTW, I changed her age. XD 16 seemed too old, so I'm making her 12 now. <3 ))

A door slowly swung open. "I-Is this room occupied...? Oh... Sorry, then."

Mondétoile sighed, slowly shutting tthe door of her umpteenth failed attempt at finding a room to sleep in. She sighed. Maybe it was hopeless... There probably wasn't any free rooms, anyway... Maybe she should just give up now and go back to her dump on the streets...

Hmpf... One more room... she decided. If there's anyone in there, then I guess I'll just have to leave this dump for good.

She went to the next door, and swung it open. "Hello? May I please--"

Mondétoile screeched to a stop, and simply stared at the two kids on the bed making out.
