"Bones....can you tell me more about your past...? y'know so i won't be so surprised next time..."

 

"My father got rich due to technology and computers. He invested it in Japanese stock market and got killed because someone wanted the money. After he died, I hated my mother and that is when I got Itachi and Orochi. After that, I stole some money and ran away. I sold drugs for a while but got caught. I also sold stuff on the black market. Pretty soon, I had almost no money left. I invested it in stock. Then I came here. Now that money has increased 100 times the original amount."

 

Sapphire stayed quiet for a moment. "so...that guy that came...he killed your father...? and he tried to kill you? are more going to come after you...?"

 

"No. By now the police have most likely caught him."

 

"hm....that's good...and you're not doing any more bad stuff are you...?"

 

"No. Can we stop this Q&A?"

 

"i'm sorry...i'm just worried about you..."

 

"I just want to be with you now."

 

".,.i know..." Sapphire hugged him tightly.

 

Bones winced slightly. He hugged her back.

 

"Bones...are you sure you're alright..?"

 

"Yeah. I have had worse." Bones leaned in close.

 

"..worse...? i don't think i want to know..." Sapphire kissed him.

 

"Let me tell you anyway. That year without you was one million times worse." Bones kissed her back.

 

"you too...? it felt like you had taken away half of me with you..."

 

"I felt like there was nothing worth living for. But when I read your letters, I was happy."

 

Pyre sighed, going to a bench and sitting on it. He stared at a single place on the street, deep in thought.

 

"Bones, there will always be something to live for...but i'm glad that the letters made you happy"

 

"There is something to live for now."
