yo! Anyone got ANYTHING to say about the Persian/Babylonians? Just wondering if any of you even know who they r.....lol?!?!?!?!

... k! Anyways, debate discussion....hmmmmmmmmmm.............! I was just wondering who does know a thing or 2 about Persia, and then i'd go from there.
Persia tried to destroy Athens. Sparta nearly defeated them with a standing army of 300 superb fighters (what was their PROFESSION? - 300 (movie) lol). Sadly they got betrayed, the Persian army got directed around the mountain pass and they destroyed teh Athens. O_O I think that's right. It's been a few years since I read about them/learned about them. I also know that the Persians had their very own solar messiah, too. Yeah that's it. LOL
... cool ^__^ i know, i was wondering if anybody knows some interesting things about them. I know a lot about them, if i have time, i'll put up almost everything i know! 300 the movie put the light on them a dark one. I personally hate the Romans, they were like early Brits. Persians were awesome. Interesting that u bring up the solar messiah. Can u tell me more of what u know of this solar messiah?
The messaiah? He is also known as the one and only god. Some call him Yeshua, Jehova, I am the one.... choose your pick. Turns out they worshipped him since Moses saved teh Isrealites in Egypt from teh plagues and torture from teh pharaoh. Now I think there are very little remaining in this world now.
The Persians followed various religions actually. They are from the Iranian region and followed a mix of Judaism, Islam and even some odd variant of Buddhism. Later, there were some Christian influence in as well but not in the times of the Greek wars etc. I'd write more but am short on time.
