Birth by Sleep Axel's somebody

Reno has never lost his heart or died or anything anyways. It would be nice, but i doubt it. I agree with the fact that reno was just a sort of base for Axel, but not his somebody.

 

Wow, this is an old topic that I started, I'm surprised it came back to life. anyway, yeah I know, I don't think Axel is Reno anymore.

 

It's a fun gesture. Axel is based on Reno's design, hence the looks and similar attitudes. Ale is Reno's favorite drink, hence with the X thrown in - Axel.

Oh well. At least no one suggested Axel's Somebody was Riku =3

Axel's Somebody is either irrelevant (since thus far, the only Nobodies whose Somebodies mattered were members 1-6 and Roxas), or a twist waiting to be revealed in KH3 when he'll show up whole.

That means that if we're ever to find out at all - you'd better be ready to wait a good long while.

Again, if we'll ever find out who his somebody is. Like I said before, the only Organization members thus far whose Somebodies hold any sort of importance are members 1 through 6, and Roxas. Who Axel used to be isn't that important, unless they want to bring him in so that Roxas buried within Sora will respond to him. This will tie in with Ven no doubt being a factor in all of this, so they'll try to make a connection to him through Roxas.

 

oh okay. i get it. :D so, Axel matters, but his somebody doesn't. and numbers 1-6 and Roxas, their nobodies matter.

 

1-6 and Roxas are Nobodies. It's their Somebodies that matter, if you want to call it that - who they used to be before losing their Hearts and becoming Nobodies

Actually, you brought a really bad example. Kairi is Namine's Somebody, and goes from being the person we're supposed to assume is Xion's Somebody, to really being her Somebody.
So saying Axel and Reno are comparable to Namine and Kairi is saying Reno is Axel's Somebody v.v;;;

 

sorry but i have to bring this up since it was bugging me.

previously in the thread people were saying along the lines that Axel doesnt have to be Reno with an X because Namine isn't Kairi with the X

well the reason for that is Namine isn't a member of the Organization. the X only applies to Organization members not all Nobodies.

Then again you have Xemnas who is the Nobody of Xehanort, and Xion whose name seems to not relate to anyone. So even within the Organization, Org member name minus the X doesn't necessarily hint us to the true Somebody.

As to Axel's story being in BBS - forget it. If his Somebody was of any true importance, we'd have heard something about him by now.
Seeing how the only Nobodies whose Somebodies we're heard about at all are 1-6 and Roxas, Axel's Somebody isn't important.

 

Xehanort stole Ansems name during his reaserch of heartless, when he became a nobody he kept that name hence 'Xemnas'.

I know that quite well. That doesn't change the fact he's not the real Ansem's Nobody, especially seeing how he took on that name for the duration of less than a year.

 

i doubt that axel is reno's nobody due to some differences in characters and the fact that having reno be the only ff character with a nobody is kinda weird...
and about axel's proper name... isn't it possible that axel's name was axel before since axel is actually a common name and it already has an x... cause adding an x to axel would be kinda weird @_@

 

I don't think all the nobodies follow the naming scheme. Namine certainly doesn't. Matbe he does, in this case i think his somebody would be ale (apparantly this is reno's fav drink. maybe there is a connection after all!)
