Kingdom Hearts II Axel's Not Dead!?

me niether. if someone looks like him in the new kh trailer at the tgs, then i'll beleive it.

 

Axel is dead... And I don't think that they have even started on the history in KH3 :/

I don't know where anybody heard this, but I find it hard to believe myself. He's gone, he's faded away, he's not going to come back. Perhaps we'd meet his Other, but it wouldn't exactly be Axel. And someone mentioned earlier that he'd be useless anyway, he wouldn't have any powers of any sort to defend himself.

This is gonna sound odd coming out of MY mouth, but I'd rather Axel not come back. See, him fading away was part of the storyline. Bringing him back would probably just mess it up. I don't think it's worth messing up the storyline for the sake of fanservice, if any.

 

As much as I would like to see Axel again, he wouldn't be the same. If he did come back, it would most likely be his Other that we meet. And he wouldn't be the same person as Axel. And I'd rather just move on. There's certainly going to be other cool new things in KH3.

 

I won't believe it until I get a official statement about it.

 

MEH?! Does this mean that he regains his heart and comes back to life?! Wow, I didn't think it possible! WATCH OUT SORA! HE'S COMING BACK!

Maybe not though, I've heard alot of rumors in my life that have either come out fake or come out true. I don't trust my opinion on Rumors EVER. I'd be careful if I were you.

 

Yeah maybe if he does it will be his other but what would his name be? I mean take out the x and you have Ale, Ael, Lea, Lae, Ela, Eal. those are the only posibilities for his name. Right?

 

Actually, it was officially released that Axel is still alive.

Axel's Nobody and Heartless were both destroyed, and so they rejoined and he's still alive. However, it hasn't been released whether or not he will be in KH3.

I wasn't ever sure myself what it was exactly called, but it was referred to as one of Namine's journals.

I'm hearing this second-hand from another forum, but about fifteen people were all confirming it, so I think it's safe to confirm here.

When a Nobody and a Heartless are destroyed, they can recombine into their original form, and in one of Namine's journals (again I'm sorry about this but it's the best I have) it was revealed that Axel has gone back to his original form.

The best I can come up with is Ale.

But then again, some of the other names are kind of lame too.

 

Yes true but wonder? If nobodies like the organization XIII were made cause of strong hearts does that mean that they have strong heartless? Kinda like xemnas and his nobody.

 

My response to that is that if there were any other powerful Heartless, like Xehanort's Heartless, we would have heard about it already.

 

Is there any proof that he is still alive, also, if he is alive, what about the other members?

 

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. What about all the other Organization members? Their Heartless were probably destroyed too.

I'm not going to believe any rumors, yet.

 

I think though that since Axel faded after he sacrificed himself to get Sora to Saix to get Kairi back, I have my doubts that he'll return. And if we DO see his Somebody in the next game, he'll probably have NO MEMORY of his Heartless whatsoever.

In other news, what if AXEL'S SOMEBODY was the main character of the next game? Freaky, huh?

 

When a Nobody and Heartless are destroyed...they come back as a whole person? That makes no real sense to me at all.

The only reason I could see Axel coming back and the others not returning is because of the actual sacrifice he made for a very hearted reason, which was friendship and to make things right. Then Namine in the novel saying what she did after he departed from the scene with Roxas and actually had a 'tear' that fell in water below, would make sense. I do wish that in a way he wasn't coming back but at the same time, I like him so I'm torn. In the end, I'll believe it when I see it since these manga things and other stuff have altered the storylines somewhat already any way and I can't be sure on the novel till I see an actual translation. If it has Vexen going on about stupid pickles, I won't consider it canon either.

 

Well judging how everyone says that the new game won't contain sora as the main character or anything like that, it's hard for me to believe for Axel to join up with such a new start. Other than that, it seems like it's just a rumor. I'd like to see it happen, but I have high doubts.
